@evilscootus I wonder if it's also hit the services that piggyback off the Optus signal.

@NourHaydar @abcnews Optus never notified me, only found out via the media.

Articles on @Optus and the #OptusHack are failing to mention that 9.2m is about 90% of their entire customer base.

Our privacy laws are so crap. Why oh why is Optus holding any sensitive ID like a driver’s licence? A driver’s licence is a ticket to ID fraud. The only way to safely manage that type of personal information is to delete it. #OptusDataBreach

@spannaforce Optus equipment has never been as good as Telstra's. And they only got to where they are because they're a competitor to Telstra. I worked for them between 1998 and 2000. They were quite arrogant about it.

If you're an Optus customer, they just got hit and there was a breach. Question: where did the breach came from? Which country? Recent events makes me wonder about the security of our data in overseas data centres

@Optus Shame you guys leaked thousands of private customer details...nothing on Twitter about it, wonder why?

Not surprise @Optus has been hit by cyber attack , they have the worst security protection of customers personal details than any other telco. I’ve always had continual problems with my email been hacked , and to get it rectified is a marathon in itself with Optus
