So @Optus still hasn’t solved my @OptusSport subscription problem. That’s despite providing their online chat with a plethora of detail. They really do suck. They just keep beginning the case anew and asking me to explain the problem

  • MattWatson1 Matt Watson 🇺🇦 (@MattWatson1) reported from Launceston, State of Tasmania

By god @Optus customer service is awful

  • MattWatson1 Matt Watson 🇺🇦 (@MattWatson1) reported from Launceston, State of Tasmania

Hey @Optus How about you don’t close a case and assign it ‘Resolved’ status when nothing has changed! Just awful. This has been going on for a week. A week! #optusfail #crapservice

@DrewPavlou If it makes you feel better I am getting targeted aswell. But not by email. Are you an optus customer?

  • LittleBirdOz82 Bill Rogers (@LittleBirdOz82) reported

@trevorlong I stopped being an Optus Home customer about 13/14 months ago and stopped being an Optus Mobile customer about 2 and a bit years ago. How nervous should I be?

  • bellebelle Belle Belle (@bellebelle) reported

@Optus My phone contract ends in less than two weeks. You bet I’m not going to remain an @Optus customer after that date. Fuming.

  • KleinRevd Revd Andrew Klein ( Chaplain) (@KleinRevd) reported

@virgotweet Had similar problems. At the end of the day, after much obfuscation and humbugging, I got onto to management. NBN mostly uses sub contractors who are used like Gig workers, the infrastructure is stuffed and there is little communication between Optus n NBN.

  • hatross66 Gotrek1966 (@hatross66) reported

@R_Chirgwin Excellent, after getting up them for lousy service and broken towers, now I find out about a data breach on Twitter. Way to go Optus.

  • Dlunnn Dylan (@Dlunnn) reported

@MichaelM_ACT Of course it isn't. But you're arguing Optus customers should be heavily compensated like PS subscribers were as opposed to what they're dealing with now . They're two completely separate issues.

  • eatatjoe2 Joe2 (@eatatjoe2) reported

@crikey_news @davidr8203 @cameronwilson Is this only for actual Optus customers or does it beyond to those who use their network via other operators?

  • KafkaVoltaire Candide (@KafkaVoltaire) reported

@JarOfSteve @Optus They may want to tell the FIVE 5 people I spoke to this morning at the ironically name customer service centre Who , asked me for ID to verify who I was Basically ~ Im on my own Is there anything else they can help me with but you take comfort from a conference

  • Dlunnn Dylan (@Dlunnn) reported

@MichaelM_ACT Completely different scenarios and ridiculous to compare. You couldn't access the PlayStation Network during that time. There was no disruption to any Optus service.

@alisterrobbie yikes man. i mean, most of au was a customer of optus at one point or another. im sure that data is still in their systems, even if thr account is expired. it would be an old address etc but 😬
