MorgoSmisho (@morgosmisho) reported@Optus ordered a phone upgrade and eSIM. Got the email saying the order number would arrive next. But nothing. Told the order wasn’t processed ‘yet’. Had this before. They say order again and you end up with 2 accounts. When you cancel one, it incurs fees and a debt agency. Scam.

Lucy Graham (@montrosegraham) reported@ChinaSelect Australia has had two major telecommunications network failures. As a result of the Telstra failure, three people died, including a baby. One person died as a result of the Optus failure. No infrastructure should have any exposure to foreign adversaries.

Mian Ijaz Rabbani (@ijaz2021) reported@jazz_worldpk @jazzpk Australia switched off its 3G network in 2024, since then Jazz IR roaming stopped working in Australia. Community raised it many times with Jazz, to always receive a reply to adjust network settings to no avail. Please talk with Singtel/Optus to restore Jazz IR in Australia.

My previous fold 4, S22 ultra, fold 6, the current fold 7 and s26 ultra all had or have green line screen issues while my iPhone 12 pro, iPhone 14 pro max and 16 pro max still going strong, no issues whatsoever. All cost pretty much the same but Samsung quality is subpar, and service is shite. I still ordered the fold 8 as currently it is available for $0 via Optus Harvey Norman Australia. Bet you, it will also likely have this screen issue. No matter what Samsung does, somehow manages to create overpriced paperweights.
