  @InsidersABC, an IT expert, or even someone with eyes, will tell you that if all our Telstra and Optus routers are made by Huwai, there is no point locking them out of the 5G network.

  @cookyourgarden @valuetainment They dont have lowband spectrum in Australia (nor in the US) without doing a deal with existing providers (Telstra & Optus) so dont get your hopes up. The spectrum they do have is mid band and would require phone manufacturers to support it, also needs a clear path to the sky to work.

  @aamir_ibrahim01 Australia switched off its 3G network in 2024 and Jazz IR roaming stopped working in Australia. Community raised it many times with Jazz, to always receive standard replies, to no avail. Please talk with Singtel/Optus to restore Jazz IR in Australia.

  @JimThom90458694 Just as with the Optus and other high profile hacks, it is our stupid 🇦🇺 government that insists on comprehensive customer data being retained for two or three years rather than being collected and retained for only as long as it takes to confirm the account, a couple of months.

  @diana_murphy613 Thankfully in Australia we have competition. I can get internet service from Telstra, TPG, Optus, Aussie Broadband and others.

  Further update, Mum was just on the phone with Optus and apparently Optus (an internet provider) isn’t able to call NBN to fix this, they can only text message them. Or at least that’s the line they are spitting out about the network degradations DO YOUR JOB!!!

We recommend enabling biometrics in the My Optus App for a faster and secure login, where no extra codes are required. From the 1st of Jan 2026, no conversation history will be stored/available in the My Optus app or My Account online. We understand that this change is a pain point for you, and we've flagged this as feedback for the relevant teams to review. - Dillon

  @noplaceforsheep We were with Optus for over 15 years. Then they decided that they were pulling out of our area. Bad luck to us. Still after another 15 years trying to sort out random accounts. Baaaaaaaastards.

  Everyone leaves Cursor for refactors. They lose the 3x speed. One founder shipped $12k MRR in nine days using only Cursor + Grok 4.6. Daily Workflow starts inside the file. Open the file inside Cursor. Feed the exact three-line Prompt Patterns straight to inline Grok. Rewrite only the current sentence before moving on.
