@InsidersABC, an IT expert, or even someone with eyes, will tell you that if all our Telstra and Optus routers are made by Huwai, there is no point locking them out of the 5G network.

The Optus debacle shows it's only fair I rebrand myself as a 'sophisticated cyber attacker' when I fix up my own whoopsies

Having now finally received the sorry we f**ked up email from Floptus. Can I say what a pathetic half apology by them. Entire tone after potentially effing up the lives of 11m+ customers, is basically "don't worry out systems aren't damage & we will be fine. BTW soz" #Optus

@byronkaye See, you're onto it. You're better off with your information in the hands of hackers rather than #Optus. Hackers have a much better network organisation.

@cameronwilson Interesting. When this happens overseas, the company has offered free identity protection services. Apparently, Optus aren't providing this and the extent of their support is only to let you know you're on your own for their mistake.

Not Optus telling me for the eighth time this week that they’re “improving service in my area” while conveniently refusing to let me know directly of a potential data breach. Bet I’d get a speedy email if my bill was somehow not paid right on time, though…

Hey @Optus next time I'm late on paying my bill, just hang tight, it'll be on it's way. Let's negotiate if you want my business moving forward. The hack is unfortunate, I get that. You control your communication with customers which is subpar based on information stolen.

@GilliantheGP This could end up being the largest class action lawsuit in Australian history, the scale of the damages from this event is almost limitless, it would behove Optus to spend a lot of money right now to do damage control
