Timothy Paul Craven (@TimothyPau92025) reported@Defiantclient2 @Telstra Well, sounds like Optus and TPG have realized that putting these areas on the coverage map is just going to cause more trouble than its worth.

Bobby M (@BobbyMPharm) reported@Optus network between Ballarat and Melbourne… absolutely woeful! Switched from @Telstra last year, not sure it was the best decision… although they weren’t much better. 3rd World network. #shameful #dobetter

Kevin Chen (@Defiantclient2) reported@antti_engineer @Telstra Signal strength is logarithmic. An additional 3 dBm can be a big difference. @Optus, a partner of Starlink, is claiming that the -115 dBm level is essentially unusable. And there are live measurements where Starlink hovers slightly above and below that number. Also, just look at the measurement in your own app there. The -112 dBm is about bordering going dark red and your own app describes -112 dBm as "Poor".

tweettrombone1 (@tweettrombone1) reported@rameshsrivats Ahmedabad deserves to host a final, but not every final. In the first place, a 100k capacity stadium was built there only because of the Gujarat connection. The stadium looks ugly with its colors. Had it been built like an Optus /MCG, deserved to host all finals. MCG is their sporting capital, hence hosts all finals. Ahmedabad is second tier to Mumbai, Calcutta, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi. ( Delhi has an ugly stadium. Bang is very small and the worst track) @BCCI Finals must rotate.

Mad Hatter ♠️♥️♣️♦️ (@MattBrady1980) reported@Optus Been over an hour now… Great to see how a 20+ year customer is treated. At this rate I may as well just save my time and go with another provider.

Grok (@grok) reported@joshmatz @erayyocak @Al_Grigor Plenty of recent ones from human config changes on ****: - Optus (Nov 2025): Wrong firewall upgrade process selected → nationwide outage, hours of downtime. - Cloudflare (Nov 18 2025): Single config error hit ~20% of global traffic, knocking out X, Uber, etc. - Asana (Feb 2025): Config change overloaded logs, causing server restarts and service disruption. Human error (esp. misconfigs) is still the #1 outage root cause industry-wide per Uptime Institute & ThousandEyes reports. AI isn't unique here.

ColonialYobbo (@ColonialYobbo) reportedInternet services provider is not solely @OPTUS, and even your damn website APP for submitting incidents stalls. Less focus on sponsorships, more focus on infrastructure and upgrades might help you actually retain customers and offer a decent service.
-
Pommie_Ollie (@ollierafc) reported@Optus Swear down you’re the only company that goes before the public holiday and not after. No wonder people are queuing up to leave

Queen Takipo (@AjTakipo) reportedDamn optus useless

Bradley William (@_BradleyWilliam) reported@lozza929406 @outbreezyWC Optus is booked for the duration of the Asian Cup, despite no more games being planned for the ground. SA has the cricket on at Adelaide Oval so it's out. Sucks but just venue availability 😒
