JaneEvil (@ArchyJaneF) reported@StevenGeorgant1 @AlanBixter Maybe partner companies that use the Optus network. My phone provider uses this network, but I never had to provide passport or driving licence details for that, so hopefully not compromised.

Pixel Harman 🔜 PAX Aus 🎲🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ (@PixelTheyDM) reportedNot Optus telling me for the eighth time this week that they’re “improving service in my area” while conveniently refusing to let me know directly of a potential data breach. Bet I’d get a speedy email if my bill was somehow not paid right on time, though…
-
The silent investor (@jr_p30) reported@Optus You can’t even manages customer security..

banjo fan (@gothamgrrls) reported@fyfesflyers she’ll never be optus though
-
rainey archer (@rainey_archer) reported@DrKate_Miller I did this a while ago after Adobe didn't protect my data. It was unexpectedly reassuring to know that all my IT paranoia was paying off. Not sure I'll be as lucky with the amount of data Optus saved on me, even though I haven't been a customer for years.
-
Éliette Priaulx 🏳️⚧️ (@elipriaulx) reportedIn light of Optus' negligence with customer data, do any Australian banks allow 2FA on personal banking, and doesn't undermine it with mobile phone based recovery vectors?
-
Jordan Ranjith-Kumar (@jawdenrk) reported@Optus Customer Service to me: So the hackers got ya full name, DOB, email, cellphone number, home address & driver’s licence number. Not to worry though! They don’t have your account password #OptusDataBreach #OptusHack

Tahlia Rose (@teigra_1) reported@nineislands I switched to Voda years ago. Excellent coverage. Where I live Optus is non existent & Telstra drops out. Good prepaid with heaps of data.. $40/month free talk & txt+ heaps of data. Is the only internet I have.Have travelled up to Qld & over to SA with no problems
-
Robert Smithers (@Rob_Smithers) reported@GilliantheGP This could end up being the largest class action lawsuit in Australian history, the scale of the damages from this event is almost limitless, it would behove Optus to spend a lot of money right now to do damage control

Peter-Louise Mary Crertin AO Parody (@PeterCretinAO) reportedHey @Optus next time I'm late on paying my bill, just hang tight, it'll be on it's way. Let's negotiate if you want my business moving forward. The hack is unfortunate, I get that. You control your communication with customers which is subpar based on information stolen.
