Hey @optus why do i have to go outside to have a decent call with my customers? Seems to be a capacity issue, rather than a coverage issue. Its worse at night when people are home or when everyone works from home due to covid?

@FeathersMcGee Other telcos probably keep the same info. Federal regulation around these practices must be lacking. I did ask when joining Optus years ago but can't remember the answer, damn.🤨

@sunriseon7 How can I know as "ex Optus" customer if my private data was leaked? Optus' 133 937 is useless/crap as always. Also Optus will not have my current contact details.

I see the "facial recognition" movement is trying to capitalise on the #optusbreach to push their agenda again. So when hackers have our pic, we'll need to give them every other bit of our info to prove it's us. How is this a fix? #auspol #optus

  • MazInMelb
    Maz In Melbourne (@MazInMelb) reported

@BreakfastNews The problem with this advice from the cyber security expert is that #Optus CANNOT tell you exactly which of your personal ID details have been taken. i have to assume that my license AND Medicare number have been taken as they can't tell me. 😡

  • feebeecakes
    Fiona Hamann🖋 (@feebeecakes) reported

@sunriseon7 as an #Optus customer, I have not even received an email there was any data breach whatsoever. Any information I have is via news only. How can I be certain my data wasn't breached? I have no confidence in their crisis comms. @sunriseon7
