  • Shuttlecock Brad Stephenson☕️ (@Shuttlecock) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

I'm going to look into switching to @Telstra 's 5G next week Been using @Optus for a few months now and it never gets 5G (despite me being close to a tower) and the 4G completely turns off 2-4 times a day every day requiring constant modem reboots Support never gets back to me

  • TheOnlyLongy Longy (@TheOnlyLongy) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@M_1tch I reckon on a larger ground such as Optus cats will fall apart again, Dee's no issue. Will be a open finals series for sure.

  • andrewtralongo Drew (@andrewtralongo) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@FUCKYOUBAKER Was with TPG but the modem was so bad. The one they provided kept on dropping, and when I bought a non-TPG modem, it still kept on disconnecting. Currently with Optus and have no issues

  • SuzieDamjanovic SUZIE DAMJANOVIC (@SuzieDamjanovic) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@weluvubritneyxo OHHH EM GEEE!!!!!! WELL firstly check your IG inbox . Secondly.. Optus sends a text message saying lines will be DOWN for 45 minutes!!! I HAD 5 STROKES AND 6 HEART ATTACKS... apart from that IM 👌👌👌

  • Shuttlecock Brad Stephenson☕️ (@Shuttlecock) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

This plus the 3 weeks of delays in getting the modem, the basic billing errors, signing me up for Fetch without my permission, and the customer support cases that go nowhere or are just randomly terminated... First time with Optus and honestly never again. Do not recommend.

  • TheOnlyLongy Longy (@TheOnlyLongy) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Kristin542 @maggiepies2010 It's their system, it can't handle the traffic.. as expected like every online live sports platform. They all fail.. same itg Optus Sport with the World Cup, Stan all year with the Rugby.. they just aren't up to it.

  • s2zart s2art (@s2zart) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Using my iPhone 12 Pro to access the internet as my NBN Cable modem is down, since 07:30 @Optus

  • GSmith_24 Grant Smith (@GSmith_24) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Gil says the #AFL GF will be held at Optus Stadium in Perth ……. If it can’t be held at the MCG. Will be confirmed mid week next week by @VicGovAu. I knew they were holding out hope for this lockdown to drive numbers right down. Would need single figures by Tues. 🤞🏼

  • bthomps22 Bruce T (@bthomps22) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia So can I regard this maintenance as essential or is it non-essential but not limited? Optus says it is to get more customers into the network. And you can’t do it overnight or at the weekend?

  • Shuttlecock Brad Stephenson☕️ (@Shuttlecock) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus @Telstra Sorry. Have been doing this dance with literally at least 20 different support personnel for the past 3 months now. Not doing this conversation again.

  • lux_cobalt Fox 🌙 1/2 vaxxed! (@lux_cobalt) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus Bruh. Still down on my end.. an entire week later.

  • llament 💧💧 Llewellyn Griffiths (@llament) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus I am an Optus customer. The caller didn't claim to be from Optus. Since I recently received a couple of text messages from Optus regarding NBN maintenance in my area it seemed unlikely that they would be followed by a threat to terminate my connection

  • natyibetta NatyG ♌ (@natyibetta) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@edenxjune I don't think that awful Optus surface helps only Dusty would be better than him

  • lux_cobalt Fox 🌙 1/2 vaxxed! (@lux_cobalt) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus Oh come off it I didn’t not just check again and now have an update - a tower down in Melbourne (the 16th is another week away).. but in my suburb apparently all is well? Welp. Tell him he’s dreamin’

  • bok_ Rob Amos (@bok_) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@bazscott I just wrote a proxy for Kayo in Swift that let’s me watch it via any IPTV client. Actually works really damn well. Need to sort out support for widevine DRM and then I can do Optus Sport as well. Not sure what Stan supports yet.

  • Shuttlecock Brad Stephenson☕️ (@Shuttlecock) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@jono_hayward Literally 6 MONTHS of the worst customer support in my life. Even now I've just been told that this router can't activate because their system is trying to sign me up for Fetch for a THIRD TIME. I'm losing my mind. Would not recommend Optus to anyone. Wait for Telstra.

  • NishadKothari Nishad Kothari (@NishadKothari) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

How bad is @StanSportFC in comparison to @Optus sport for @ChampionsLeague telecast? #StanSportAU

  • HeyItsLeish Aleisha (@HeyItsLeish) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus when you plan an outage, its called let your customers know so they are aware. Working from home businesses rely on your network...

love spending my lunch break at service sa to apply for a new license because they aren’t open weekends and i work monday to friday, thanks optus <3

  • welshyjay Jay Jay (@welshyjay) reported

@Optus @YouCanCountOnMB I don't know what's worse.. the absolute lack of logic in that excuse, OR if it's true.. It's taken them this long to double check who was affected AND/OR their double checks have resulted in customer details being leaked. #amateurhour #shitshow #classact

  • TMRQld Transport and Main Roads Queensland (@TMRQld) reported

Requested a new customer reference number (CRN) due to the Optus data breach? 👉 We’ve updated our process for requesting a new driver licence/CRN—so you now don’t need to revisit a centre or contact our call centre to follow up (as some customers were initially advised).

  • dan_vis3 Dan V (@dan_vis3) reported

@PMalinauskasMP hi Peter. I’m Optus customer impacted. Self employed Uber driver. Went to Seaford Meadows sa service @ 4:30pm to replace license. Lines are still way too long! I can’t afford to be standing in line for hours! Why can’t we do this on line? 1hr xtra on only couple

  • BobAustraliaUK Bob Australia (@BobAustraliaUK) reported

Optus are so crap, spent an hour and a half on their online chat portal only to be told to dial in (I already know there are huge wait calls), when I dial in they tell me to use their online chat feature. Driving me mad! They really are bad.

  • ZiptieZoe ZiptieZoe (@ZiptieZoe) reported

@Mars12518 @annatime94 2nd: coulda got a roundtable 2gether 2 address the comms deficit. Then mayb in the very-long, largely Optus-customer, ServiceSA line 2 days ago..i wouldna heard "at least Covid's over". As the news reports modelling of 8000 cases a day by Dec in SA & comms could knock top off it!

  • ScheibnerJames James Scheibner (@ScheibnerJames) reported

@Sw3333p @Asher_Wolf It appears that this is a separate breach, and that Optus customer data was not affected. Interesting though that news of this broke in February 2021, which is when Singaporean data breach notification requirements came into effect.

  • RecliningPanda Reclining Panda (@RecliningPanda) reported

@Optus hey is there an eta for internet issues in north ryde? It hasn’t worked since this time yesterday

  • weak_get_eaten Michelle (@weak_get_eaten) reported

@Optus thanks Optus for the heads up I haven’t been able to reconnect my cctv cameras back to my iPhone, this is going to cost me money to correct, who’s going to fix and pay for this?

  • georgecham George Cham (@georgecham) reported

@JimWilsonMedia hi Jim, I’m an Optus customer As I have two services with them, I wonder where I would stand if I cancelled my Internet service and went elsewhere? or if I did I would have to pay a penalty.
