@Optus I'm sorry too but I've spoken to several customer support people on the phone directly about this and have just been told every single time to be patient and wait because there's nothing that can be done.

@Optus - three weeks of complaints, 1-2 hours daily of talking to customer care and replacing the modem, still pathetic 5g broadband internet. 50mbps promise and you hardly get 1mbps #Optus #optus5g (1/2)

Genuinely physically feel like I'm on the verge of having an anxiety attack over this whole @Optus thing. 5G net hardware ordered on Weds, delivered to wrong address and returned to warehouse on Fri, and is still there 6 days later despite 2 support calls during the week.

@Optus Ask for the supervisor and I get no calls. Irony - working from home and I have to login using my phone hotspot. What good is it to pay $75 for no internet. There is no urgency #Optus

Tried to get @telstra to upgrade my internet plan using the MyTelstraApp and Gold member support. Yep they are totally useless. Two reference numbers issued and still no change. Time to move to @optus I think

@Jessee0923 Yeh I’d prefer Optus but doesn’t sound like they’re interested. So putting all my eggs in the Stan basket. But nobody can be as bad as Fox. Completely dropped the ball after all the lay offs and budget cuts.

@Jessee0923 From ABC attempting a skit show before the LFCvSYD game, to Ch7 having Johanna Griggs popping up to spruik some **** during their ‘soccer’ broadcast, think FTA would be a step backwards. SBS/Stan/Optus I can get behind. We should be able to watch it in 4K by now as well. Amazon??

@Optus you just sent me a survey about my mobile data purchase but you didnt ask how satisfied I was. Answer: it was appalling and unusable and I will never use Optus again. Your coverage outside metro is shameful.

@HansOrph @Optus @NBN_Australia Yikes. That is pitiful. I’d be asking for a technician to come out ASAP so I wasn’t paying for service I wasn’t receiving.

@Optus hey hey, I'm in Brunswick West and have been having NBN drop outs for nearly a week now, terrible wifi speeds while sitting right next to the modem, one person can stream while the other struggles, I've restarted NBN box and router multiple times. What's up?!

@wimmerachic I just saw the word Optus and knew it would be an absolute **** show. Good luck 🤞 I’ve personally never had a good experience with them, and everything was just way way too much effort which is why I’m glad I have zero services with them.

Hey @optus why do i have to go outside to have a decent call with my customers? Seems to be a capacity issue, rather than a coverage issue. Its worse at night when people are home or when everyone works from home due to covid?

@SenPaterson @Birmo @Birmo, didn't your Coalition, while in govt, water down the safeguards Optus was required to put in place? And didn't the former communications minister work for Optus for several years before he landed in Canberra?
-
Carolyn Woodley

@SenPaterson @Birmo How about Optus pay? Why did they keep all this data beyond a customer getting their points?
-
Al Garlando

@TheShovel The hacker arrived on the Ruby Princess for which Optus is not responsible. This is clearly a Telstra issue.

@SenPaterson @Birmo You're such an idiot. You went in to bat for Optus yesterday, attempting to cast doubt on something you have no idea about, and now you're trying to blame the government for a company poorly implementing bad legislation that your party made law

@RichardKGrump @TPG_Telecom I recommend Aussie Broadband. Good call service. Reliable. no complaints. I have tried Telstra (crap overseas call service if you have problems), IInet (they were great until they got bought out), Won't touch Vodaphone (deceptive conduct), and of course, our data sieve Optus.
