  • _prkr Parker (@_prkr) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Turns on data roaming and it connects to optus... settings>data>network> @Telstra 🙏🏻

  • themediapod Ross Monaghan (@themediapod) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@mjrowland68 @BreakfastNews I was getting faster speeds on the Optus cable network 15 years ago. NBN means slower and more expensive service in my area.

  • Nikkiwu8 mammashark23 (@Nikkiwu8) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus Your customers service is ridiculous!! I spoken with your staff on phone to book in NBN services on 16 April 2019. End up with no show, I called to find out I been told my appointment not been finalised!! They rescheduled me on 29 May 2019.!!

  • AGhostMachine 𝔾𝕙𝕠𝕤𝕥𝕀𝕟𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕄𝕒𝕔𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕖 (@AGhostMachine) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus Yup - bought some extra data and continued to use the Optus 4g to power my household. I will be sending the bill the way of Telstra if they ever try to resolved the issue :(

  • GregRandall1 TheWeed (@GregRandall1) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@JohnBirmingham @Telstra @Optus Oh I feel your pain. I had to organise internet with a fixed IP address for my Mum’s home security cams. She kept cancelling her internet account because “I don’t use that rubbish” and setting up new, costly phone accounts that involved cancel fees. #dayslost

  • TeamBloomart Guy Incognito (@TeamBloomart) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@JohnBirmingham @Telstra @Optus I used to pay my dad's bigpond account (in his name, my cc direct debit deets). When he died I tried to cancel the account. Imagine how that went.

  • Nikkiwu8 mammashark23 (@Nikkiwu8) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus I am Optus customer and tried to book discounts HOYTS movie tickets. Website is not working

  • KoparaFallsKid Robyn D (@KoparaFallsKid) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Pamelanicholls6 @andrewofoz @JaneCaro @Telstra I do that too, using my phone as a hotspot. But that chews through the data allowance and they (in my case Optus) don't let you have extra phone data because the internet is down. They still charge $10 a Gb for extra usage over the monthly allowance.

  • Stephen02721621 Stephen (@Stephen02721621) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus @HuaweiMobileAU Try connecting me a fkn phone line - 1 month no phone - you guys suck so bad

  • elvinaMS elvina sindartha ♕ (@elvinaMS) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus your wifi sucks BIG TIME

  • monicasmeow Monicasmeow🐈 (@monicasmeow) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@mik_rosser @verbaliza That sort of makes no sense because it’s generally the gaining provider who would be at fault. So if you want to connect with Telco B for NBN it’s on Telco B. If Telco A (Optus) keep billing you that is different issue not necessarily connected to a new connection.

  • mikedoeslife Mike Stevens (@mikedoeslife) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Turns out the fastest way to get service in a Telstra store is to walk in with an Optus bag in your hand

  • Nikkiwu8 mammashark23 (@Nikkiwu8) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus Your technician said I wasn’t home. I was home all morning. I did not hear any knock on my door. Not even a call or message to me. And again they rescheduled on 6 May 2019. What a customer service

  • teddytranscends Teddy Transcendent (@teddytranscends) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Doing a name change with @Optus is possibly THE most humiliating of all name change experiences. I'm not a different person so please don't treat me as such.

  • mikedoeslife Mike Stevens (@mikedoeslife) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@_Michelangelo__ @Optus Now see, I had TPG a while ago and hated it. Terrible connectivity, terrible customer service, tech didn't show up when I took the day off to be home for him, then wouldn't cancel my account. So, yeah. They all suck.

  • Nikkiwu8 mammashark23 (@Nikkiwu8) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus Optus app service shows service unavailable!! Called to Optus put me on hold transfer me to other departments and call hung up. I want to get my Optus perks work!! This is not acceptable service!!

  • SamShearer7 Sam Shearer (@SamShearer7) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@jewitt12 @pieman_78 Agree, is worth any slight drop in coverage. Online chat has always sorted any issues reasonably quickly as well. Recommend the Fetch box to get Optus Sport on to your box at home, is like $10 extra a month.

@Optus why is my fetch box now showing up as @Singtel on my network?

  • lee1australian Proud to be a prole (@lee1australian) reported

@Justinsteer3 @VoteLewko @ChrisMinnsMP Yeah right .. look at optus. For public services it does not work, they cut costs, staff and lower service to make a profit. No accountability or responsibility, just put the prices up.

  • SkyfallGTI Matt (@SkyfallGTI) reported

@Optus An abject failure of leadership. Most found out via News.I was notified after 5days,by email. Why not an immediate txt to my (Optus)!phone.Still no announcement on your FB page.If you did not have an emergency response plan for this, you should be ashamed. If this is your plan..same.

  • BRKHEADLINES BRK HEADLINES ™ (@BRKHEADLINES) reported

Update; Optus issues grovelling apology in full page ad as fewer NSW residents required to replace licences: Optus published the grovelling apology in newspapers, and shorter versions in shopping centres, saying it was sorry to its 9.8million customers impacted… VIA @MailOnline

  • aussiemum30 Kylie W 🇦🇺 (@aussiemum30) reported

It took 10 mins for the 1 time verification code to finally come through. WTH @optus you used to be a decent company I had no complaints for 10 years. Now, your way of doing business, your poorly trained oversees employees take multiple times to fix or correct a single issue

  • sunsetriver88 Jax (@sunsetriver88) reported

@tobycmurray @Jeremy_Kirk Side note: I saw a Trevor Long article indicating when contacting a sample of the 10,000, never mind that none had been warned they were on the hot list, some had not even received the generic email from Optus. Anyone have any further info on that? Wonder how long we must wait...

  • aussiemum30 Kylie W 🇦🇺 (@aussiemum30) reported

@optus I'm not able to get a verification code via sms or email so I'm not able to login to chat to say that I informed optus multiple times that my remaining bill will be paid this Wednesday 5/10 and to not restrict my account further or optus leaves me no way to pay my bill.

  • rivkhali5 fine&mental (@rivkhali5) reported

@abcnews Meaningless PR when my multiple attempts to communicate with @Optus to get answers to 2 simple questions result in failure & frustration. Stop saying sorry and provide some basic customer service.

  • jacksonto888 Jackson To (@jacksonto888) reported

@sydneykhoo @noelsie_nme @SBSNews I went straight to Service NSW (rather than apply online). Lady there said they already knew my licence had been compromised, yet Optus hadn’t emailed. Also demand they provide you with Equifax 12mth subscription. That’ll check if your details had been used by criminals.
