@Optus my iPhone XR is repeatedly dropping out and telling me there is no SIM installed. This is happening all over Melbourne. I was on a call with a recruiter on Monday and it cut out 6 times in 10mins. Others can’t get through at all - tells them I’m not available. Help!

@Optus yesterday while at work at the Dandenong south site, I and half the factory had very poor service. Turns out you are working on a tower near us. Til December. Do we have to deal with this til then cos it’s really affecting my job!

Just signed a 24 month contract. My @Optus coverage has been down for most of the day. Awesome $70 spent on service being down and false promises of data usage.

@sandylanceley @CouchNish @MelbPTUser @melissakp @australian @Singtel They can not run a 3/4G network to save themselves and I cannot see why anyone still pays them / or why they’re in business. But I guess change is tricky for most. Getting off Optus was the best battery and speed boost I’ve had—like a new phone! 🤣 they’re shocking

4 drop outs in service with @Optus NBN in the space of an hour. Even with a new modem installed last night. If this continues throughout today, I’ll be disconnecting my service, without penalties and moving to another provider.

Nice work @optus. Tried your call back service which disconnected me both times.the second one was after being put on hold for 3 minutes. I stayed on hold and got connected on my 3rd attempt. Quality service!

I’m about 1km south of an @Optus 5G service. I have no 3G/4G service I can rely on currently so have to use wifi calling. NBN or Optus router goes down weekly so I’m left on a desert island. iPhone 12 with 5G comes in November. Here’s hoping 5G will arrive by then #gamechanger

@ThatSkiMaskGuy Watched Rakuten a couple of times. Pretty poor quality. Final match when Ange won the title the server was overloaded so I couldn't get connection. Optus will also promote it with additional shows, interviews, etc. Optus have exceeded my expectations with EPL, UCL.

Optus are currently paying ~$50m/year for the EPL streaming rights and charge $15/month to subscribers. Now not everyone pays that fee (I never have), but let’s assume that every mobile customer’s monthly bill has that subscription built in and funds go towards content

Really @optus .. again!! 😩 on live chat trying to sort out whether I can upgrade or get some sort of incentive to stay with you due to lack of service & was told I’m being transferred to someone who can help .. that was 15 min ago and no one has replied to messages sent since!

Optus your buffering is very poor. Consistent buffering and delays. Seriously considering to cancel my long term contract. After 2-3 odd years nothing has changed. @OptusSport

@xglossd I went with Optus for this reason. @Telstra are garbage. Even though Optus has slightly worse coverage I don’t care when I get more data and pay 2/3 the price each month. I’ll look again when it’s time to renew my contract later this year.

@ScallywagRay @RACV_Official Ha! Thats easier than the experience i had with Optus! I verified my dets, then they wanted to send me a OTP- to an optus email ive never knew existed. Cant send to my mobile because its in a joint acct, cant change email because they need to send OTP! So i need to go to a store!

@Optus your customer service is an embarrassment. 2 hours to change a phone plan. Not sure if it has even been actioned as the line has disconnected TWICE and I refuse to call again. I will not be paying for excess charges due to your staffs incompetence!
