@Optus Thanks. Would have loved to have been told that when I first tweeted about it. Why doesn’t Fetch announce this somehow? I never saw anything that said this when using the box.

@DYoungPacing @stewiemac21 I can’t remember those times and if those figures in relation to midweek meetings are right then all the more reason to scale down and focus on tracks that people want to punt on. They don’t play AFL at Lathlain Park every second week while Optus stadium collects dust...

@QuantumFish777 Hi Marc, I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing these issues when trying to watch the match via the Android TV app. We'd be happy to take a closer look, could you send us a direct message with your Optus Sport login id? Sarah

@Optus I've restarted the NBN box and we're back up and running. (Jumped on the hard connected desktop to test as it's the fastest way). Had to be a local issue. Thanks for the speedy response. Guessing it needed a restart after the outage the past couple of days.

@Optus Replying is not the same as resolving! We have spoken to 40 different people, only hearing contradicting information and have found no resolution. Customers deserve correct truthful expert information.

@Optus I'm pretty sure it's just terrible congestion in the area. I've tried a lot of things to solve the performance issue. (I'm an expert at tweaking LTE modems after running on Optus 4G for a couple of years at my previous house) I'll DM you with my address so you can log it though.

@Optus I would focus more on resolving current customer issues if I were optus! 3 weeks after our grief with optus started, one escalation complaint filed and nothing resolved! Escalation officer as useless as everyone else we’ve spoken to! Check trusted reviews people before signing!

@NBN_Australia Although I think my solution of tethering to my Optus phone for OS updates is probably better, as NBN speed os capped at 20Mbps download, whereas my 4G download speed is currently 187Mbps…

@Optus This would be so much cheaper if I wasn't already an Optus "customer". Instead I get to pay full whack while folks switching over from the other telcos get it free on a $69/month plan.
