Thanks VicRoads for making it so easy to have my licence flagged against unauthorised accesss. While Optus claims this part of my personal details was not included in the hacking, you never know. Have no confidence in what Optus is saying.

@joshgnosis So Optus & other telcos validate IDs given against govt databases? Then a tick against a customer record is enough & the numbers don’t need to be kept. This also raises the question of what checks the govt undertakes to confirm companies accessing this info can keep it secure

after 2 or 3 more weeks @optus may be caught up re handling muddle of #databreach - have call back on their call centre for data breach issues - have email support for past customers - have a forum past customers can use - have online chat for past customers

Apparently they are consulting FBI to help catch Optus data kid. It’s the Optus people that need a severe talking to not the kid. They left the door open.

The @MarkMcGowanMP cheap and sordid decision to sell Perth Stadium's naming rights to @Optus is looking even more terrible now. The contract should be annulled at Optus' expense and the original PERTH name restored #wapol

@tazgecko @ownedbyhoundies @hughriminton I have been with them for years. Still no contact, no reassurance, no advice. Just ignorant silence. Day after day. Funny, when my internet connection went down for 5 minutes 2 days ago Optus emailed promptly offering help that was by then not needed. What are they good for?
