Mimama 🐕🐝🦋🦉 (@BConn39) reported@ProudLeftyHatr @AustralianCelt @SkyNewsAust Petal, those flights have been checked and passed by the parliamentary office. She had other flights booked, they were cancelled as Wells dealt with the Optus fall out. Last minute flights were secured. Acting like this has never happened before is just pathetic. Born yesterday?

Art Pepper Jr. (@amg3200) reported@whoisDarkPrince Man I hope we can make it to Kyoto. I felt like such an idiot without mobile internet but just assumed Optus would work there. The culture is Japan is just so much better than the West!!!
-
Kath (@Kathblue) reportedScrew you @Optus. Putting my plan up again and trying to make it sound better by giving me more data. I don’t use the data I have now. I’ve moved providers so no longer a customer.

WanderingFist (@WanderingFister) reported@killermattk 4th q at Optus last night Saints fan "COME ON TOMMMM" Me (Freo) . . . YEAH COME ON TOMMMM. Saints fan - You don't have a player called Tom. Me - Yeah I know but there's 50k of us in here and it looks like you need some extra support. Saints fan *Gets up and Leaves*

Mike (@stocksworldbull) reported@TeamYouTube I have spent an hour on the link you provided but it is not helping. My third-party provider (Optus) shows active until May 2026, but my YouTube app is stuck showing an expired date from October 2025. All i want is Help to refresh my youtube account's sync with Optus.

Dave Jones (@eevblog) reported@asphotos Science isn't going to help when the system is clogged because the NBN is down and many thousands of people are trying to find workarounds. Telstra in the park has collapsed, and Optus is struggling.
-
leon (not kin) (@doingwritebyme) reportedHey @Optus how is it that I cannot pay you MORE money to add a device to my plan because of a "contract limitation" I was never told about to begin with. Worst customer experience I've ever had, will be cancelling all my services as will my friends and family.
-
Stewie (@stewiexgreen) reported@Optus My current internet sometimes struggles to stream video. Giving me worse internet for cheaper doesn’t sound like a great solution.
-
A guy down under (@Fremean) reported@missrobinson I made Vodafone give me a new customer discount by asking them after 20 years why new customers get better treatment, do I need to switch to Optus for 6 months to come back as a new customer.

M (@imboudee) reported@Justme136160 @robb_j_m To be fair, David is not wrong. Telcos will use the NBN infrastructure as they see fit. It’s cheaper to pay to use the NBN infrastructure that is already there than to lay down their own fibre. In fact, telcos like Optus and Telstra are already NBN providers.
