    @Telstra That I (and every other Telstra customer at the game) experiences congestion is self evident. My question was why the so-called “premium” network seems to have the worst experience of this. Other networks (@Optus and even @VodafoneAU) are more useable at these events.

    @Optus I have been trying to use your live chat function through the app all night. I explained the situation twice and both times the “agent” left without resolving anything. My partner has also tried twice to no avail. Terrible customer experience. 🤯

    @TIOAustralia I am having issues with @optus with regards with my internet. I have been trying to get a replacement modem which is PnP and they are suggesting a tech with no definite time,but a span of hours means I have to take time off work and hope that they will come or not

I need something for my awful 3G/4G cell tower issue where I am mostly getting SOS level signals… I’m right in the middle of an area where three towers don’t overlap. Have to use wifi calling. When the modem goes down every few days (Optus NBN) I go into a comms hole

    @Telstra It improves when I go into the city. It seems to be a signal issue in Brunswick! I would normally say it may be something to do with the walls/building but as Optus works perfectly fine I can’t see that being the issue!

    @SoniaCuff The assumption is the problem. Plus, “a specific way” should involve a vulnerability disclosure policy and sometimes, a bit bounty. Lot of stuff there that should go well beyond just a contact address for a company like Optus.

    @just_brash Optus CEO sounds like a potential LNP candidate. Do nothing for 9 years then -checks notes- blame nation state sophisticated attacks, human error, now bad actors. Maybe just maybe you should have had proper secure storage. Also why do still have customer details after they left ?

    @neilabenson @MarkBaileyMP @TMRQld Metadata retention laws brought in by the LNP Abbott government. I believe this exact situation was argued against when these laws came in. Nevertheless Optus didn’t nothing close to best practice (more like worst practice) in the way they stored the data.

    Anyone passing off this Optus hack as sophisticated has no idea. An unauthenticated API is like leaving a door to your house unlocked when you’re down south on holiday. If an opportunistic criminal can open a door to your home, a hacker of the same mindset can access a database.

    @Sheeds_au @troyhunt As a layman not knowing 2 much about security I always had trouble with @Optus to change password. they have too many different types of log ins. U do the forget password, change it & immediately the new password does not work so u give up as you can go on a loop a few times.
