I'd love for ISPs like #Optus to be more proactive around notifying customers. Monitor your network for issues, tell me if you find one. I'm much happier if you tell me about an issue than if I have to convince 1st level support that there is an outage in your network.

@Optus Pathetic. Optus has white customer service and now they are taking customer disatisfaction to another level.

*******!!! @Optus you should learn something from @ThreeUK when it comes to customer service. Had problems adding credit to my UK phone before a trip. I hardly use my phone but Three whacked on 5gb for free so I wouldn’t be stressed on arrival. Legends.

@TessPlease2010 After all the Optus/Medicare crap that went down like a bag of sick this past fortnight in Oz, I would say: DO NOT RECOMMEND!
-
Daniel
(@VoteLewko) reported
@MickSanchezAU It is probably a half-baked interim fix for the Optus breach but presenting it as anything else is at best inaccurate and at worst wildly dishonest. A false sense of security is worse than no security at all. At least when there's no security you know where you stand and can act.

Romulus

@ClareONeilMP The criminals are Medibank, Optus and Telstra for requesting our private information and storing it. And the government for heading down the Digital ID path.
-
Luke Bartolo

@VoteLewko @MickSanchezAU That Optus breach was terrible, should never have privatised the phone industry in Australia.
-

I’m both an Optus and Medibank customer. Just so everyone knows: Re Optus: my account fees are completely up to date. Re Medibank: I was hospitalised in my 20’s for kidney stones, and I should go to the dentist more often. Also, fees up to date… #Optus #Medibank

@nyunggai Involved in Optus and Medibank hack. A drivers licence involved in a hack can cause all sorts of problems for the holder. What sort of information will you require on your 'Australia Card' and how will it be stored and protected. A surveillance card to leave us more at risk.

@CatPurry9 @southwin28 Time to bring Govt under the even stronger rules particularly with all the so called security issues the Aust Govt deals with - Until yesterday I was unaware they were excluded. If hackers can get to Medibank & Optus... we will just have to refuse to hand 100 point IDs to anyone
