Had to restore my phone. My goodness it’s annoying. Esim needs visit to @Optus store to activate. My phone is the after hours number for patients and pathology. I also didn’t realise #googleauthenticator can’t transfer over. That’s my bad I guess.

  • ultraman_tae
Mr.Ultraman Taro (@ultraman_tae) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

I've been using it for 4 months, but I've been suspended 2 times for unknown reasons and no paid balance. The staff couldn't help me. So I lost more than 1 week of usage. @Optus

Brad Curtis🇦🇺🇩🇪🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺🇦🇺 (@BradJCurtis2) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

Why ******** is Optus Sport not allowing me to watch anything saying: need to be Optus Sport Premium Subscriber? Only just started now. So the $25 per month isn't the premium

  • paulkneipp
Paul Kneipp (@paulkneipp) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

@slsandpet With Optus for 10 years. When I moved, I asked them to connect me at the new place. No, they said, we have no service there. Telstra came, the tech pointed and said “that’s an Optus box there”. I was assured that emails would continue for 3 months. Account deleted in 24 hours.

  • NigelHighley
Nigel Highley (@NigelHighley) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

@AlboMP Hows the reversal of the anti syphoning of the EPL coming along? Shouldn't have to be an optus mobile customer to gain access

  • scott86d
Scott D (@scott86d) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

I know what's happened with this Optus breach is frustrating for people. However please don't take it out on us working in Service NSW centres. We have instructions at the moment of what we can and cant do in regards to updating your licence.

  • DraganLazik

@MadsMelbourne @Optus **** yeah you're right when you activate the sim, so stupid they don't need it either

  • richramo
Richard Ramnac (@richramo) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

My conspiracy theory is that Optus paid the ransom, hence why the hacker deleted the data, the threat revoked, with the hacker's change of heart happening very quickly after the first 10,000 customer details were released. #optusfail

  • 50to39
Donna Longhurst (@50to39) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

@SEggminder @Optus Probably the small cogs in the chain on the phone not getting all the info from the bosses. Doesn't help situation.

  • chrisjackis
Chris Jack (@chrisjackis) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

If laughable that @PeterDutton_MP suggests the #OptusDataBreach is a problem for the government. It’s an Optus issue about a breach in Optus customer data. Let Optus sort things out and investigate first. #auspol

  • IanFriedrich
Ian (@IanFriedrich) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

Summarizes the real conservation. Me: I want to cancel my plan. Optus: Why. Me: My data has been leaked. Optus: I can give u some discount. Me: No thanks. Optus: I checked your account, apparently your data has not been leaked. Me: Explain why I received the alert emails from u.

Diana DJ (@DianaDJ7) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

@bobbylosbravos @bcurrall80 I get 50GB for $45/month on Telstra thru a pre-paid plan I bought from JB Hi-Fi. They were the only Telstra reseller I could find and I refuse to go to Optus or Vodafone due to terrible experiences in the past.

  • trevorlong
Trevor Long (@trevorlong) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

If you thought Optus had moved to a Customer focused approach with this whole data hack - think again. I’ve got details of what I think is the most disgraceful lack of attention to the VERY worst affected customer. Just need time to calm down and write it all down

  • wheelyweb
Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

@craigthomler @stilgherrian If I understand it right it’s an Optus CUSTOMER human error or an Optus EMPLOYEE human error. Either way, it’s an Optus company problem and responsibility.

  • MimiBlueMtns
Margaret Williams (@MimiBlueMtns) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

Who else has problems receiving netcodes via SMS due to little or no mobile coverage in your area? Frustrating. #Optus #BlueMountains

  • wheelyweb
Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

Everyone is missing a critical item. Why do telcos need all that info when I can fire up an sms service without it. However. Optus is directly responsible for the data spill, regardless of if it was a hack or a breach. it’s their responsibility to manage security of that data.

  • lfsleigh
Lucia (@lfsleigh) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

In the last week or so, I’ve been getting 4-5 spam calls per day. Previously they happened once a month or so. Wonder if it’s got to do with me being an Optus customer and their massive data breach… which I’m still waiting to hear if I’m a part of

  • JPMasters
JPMasters (He/Him/They/Them) (@JPMasters) reported from Sydney, New South Wales

@lesstenny @RNBreakfast I wasn’t listening this morning, but my thoughts are, rain - our infrastructure never considered there would be rain, mobile coverage infrastructure not keeping up with demand (I am 13km from Sydney GPO on a high point - hopeless with both Telstra and Optus), and NBN no doubt.

  • eevblog
    Dave Jones (@eevblog) reported

Holy f*uck trying to get an Optus data SIM was a nightmare. The usual system at Harvey Norman wouldn't work, no one could figure out why, had to call Optus support and do it manually. And I had to bend over and get privacy rubber glove, credit check the whole works.

  • Hazkypreos
    Harry Gregory (@Hazkypreos) reported

@RFC_Centre One thing I found interesting watching the game at Optus. Time after time Sonsie was manning two players when the dockers were coming out of defence and usually stuck between both of them. There was never any backup from another team mate. Other than one error he had a good game.

  • gav_mck

  • BaronPhilbert
    Philip Wall (@BaronPhilbert) reported

Recommendations for new NBN service, please? After 25 years, @Optus feels it's more important to reward new customers than existing ones. Anyone had experience with @Aussie_BB or @Kogan ?

  • MissIgraine
    Miss Igraine (@MissIgraine) reported

I really rate my experience working for a serviced office, what feels like a lifetime ago. I was a senior EA promoted to a virtual office manager. We had to learn some fundamental IT troubleshooting as we were our own ISP (using the Optus network).

@ben_mummery @gooneritis @TheFootyFeed Tell us you only started watching football yesterday without telling us. Arsenal have the most VAR errors since VAR was introduced Fact and even on Optus
