  @freopics_ If you can afford it, book flights now that you can get a refund or a credit voucher for as it guarantees more travel in 2027 hehe. But, otherwise it will be great here. Down in Freo or at Optus or with friends.

  If Telstra vanished tomorrow, half the country would lose mobile service. If Optus or Vodafone vanished… most regional users wouldn’t notice. That’s the imbalance.

  @TheLizVariant In Australia my isp optus said that due to my phone being old I would have to upgrade my phone as it would be disconnected when the new system is in place and that the phone would not be able to communicate with emergency services. So basically we are screwed !

  @LydiaAmesha Sorry to hear you may be experiencing issues with your Optus internet. If the issue is only persistent whilst viewing the SBS stream, it would most likely be an issue on their end.   @PeteUK7 @virginmedia When my husband died @Optus (Australian telco) harassed me for about two years about his bill and phone. Years. Told them over and over and over that he was dead. It was awful.

  @SkullSpeedDeal I called Optus support the other day. The Indian guy on the phone literally couldn’t speak coherent English, misunderstood 5G and NBN, and sounded like he was calling from a scam centre which he probably was. Got escalated to an Aussie girl, problem was immediately solved.
