  • Slacko_Mitch Mitchell Vladamotte (@Slacko_Mitch) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@MissCBella @Telstra That’s shit service! I wish I was surprised though. I was just looking at Optus plans. They have free phone upgrades after 12 months. I’d switch if you could. Optus coverage where I live is just as good.

  • NickBurrough Nick Burrough (@NickBurrough) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I raised a complaint on Telstra Website. I don’t need someone to tell me to switch on and off a service I don’t have! I moved to Optus last week. I just need the wire removed.

  • BoultR 💧RichardB ActiveCitizen (@BoultR) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@geoff_wales Was with Amaysim. Good service, great price But, Optus transmission just doesn't work in my new apartment! So had to say goodbye to Amaysim, reluctantly.

  • vijayarumugam Vijay Arumugam (@vijayarumugam) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@BigKev67 @vipinbjain Interestingly, Rose Bowl, Bellerive and WACA / Optus are the three venues with poor Test crowds, although Gabba has had some poor crowds of late as well. #savsInd #INDvsSA

  • SarahHurc Sarah Hurcombe (@SarahHurc) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Honestly @Optus we have had the worst customer experience @TwoTalesCafe with you the last few weeks + particularly the last few days - your failure to take responsibility + resolve this has been shocking to experience. It’s always been someone else’s fault within the organisation

  • nimzmir Nimz (@nimzmir) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Shit Optus ain’t sent my phone. You already KNOW I’m calling up and not paying for my the phone portion of my bill at the end of my month if it ain’t here by then

  • SarahHurc Sarah Hurcombe (@SarahHurc) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Terrible mistake from @Optus - they made us @TwoTalesCafe switch to NBN last week and changed our number without telling us and we’ve only just found out - really crappy stuff for a long weekend when people will call us to find out if we’re open!!!! Sort it out @Optus

  • maxymedia Scott Maxworthy (@maxymedia) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Come on @Optus our broadband has been down now for over three hours!!! 🤯

  • skylxrksays SKYLXRK (@skylxrksays) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Another day another NBN outage... and right as I got home. Pleeeease don’t let this turn into an ongoing saga like it was with Optus HFC 🙃

  • eastuto Eugene of Astuto 🤔 (@eastuto) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

So how's this for next level bad customer service. @Optus sends a warning notice that services will be restricted of we don't pay $270. Never seen the account number. Wife was on phone every day last week. They couldn't say what it related to. Couldnt provide copy of a bill.

  • chillnesses KR Dev 🇦🇺 (@chillnesses) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus fix ur shitty mobile network it never works. By far the worst carrier in Australia

  • MikePearsall93 Mike Pearsall (@MikePearsall93) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@juzzyjuuice @Optus As bad as Optus is I reckon they're the best of a horrible bunch. Just tried a different co for internet and went crawling back to them cause they were that shite.

  • paloappie Chelsea Feltham (@paloappie) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

After two weeks of no internet with @Optus due to “back end issues” with my relocation, I was told it could be a further 21 days to get connected. I cancelled my service. 30 mins after submitting the form on the @Aussie_BB website, my NBN was connected. Customer service folks!

  • fictillius Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@cenaniangzebi @Optus @Mondyboy The full signal but no connectivity is an iOS 13 bug. The only fix I’ve found is to reboot the phone.

  • Slacko_Mitch Mitchell Vladamotte (@Slacko_Mitch) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I’ve already moved on. I left because you wouldn’t let me upgrade my phone a month early (I was a Telstra customer since I had my “hiptop” maybe 10yrs). So I saw out my contract and moved to Optus. They were just as good and cheaper. Im now on prepaid and it’s even cheaper again.

  • nimzmir Nimz (@nimzmir) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Shit Optus ain’t sent my phone. You already KNOW I’m calling up and not paying for the phone portion of my bill at the end of my month if it ain’t here by then

  • fictillius Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@cenaniangzebi @Optus @Mondyboy This happened to me on Vodafone during beta testing. On iOS 12 I had so much trouble with Telstra’s network going deaf I moved to Vodafone and it has been fine apart from some beta issues.

  • clivedickens Clive Dickens (@clivedickens) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

    @EFTM @trevorlong Hi @trevorlong @optus launched eSIM support for compatible @Apple iPhones and Watches in April 2019. #keepup :)

  • maxymedia Scott Maxworthy (@maxymedia) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus Hi, was back an hour or so after post but has been on & off over the last few days. Whatever your techs are doing is very frustrating for us poor customers.

  • markc Mark Cohen (@markc) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus response to six hours with no service after four calls to various customer service no’s, two store visits and multiple emails… eh, try again tomorrow

Optus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • peternlewis Peter N Lewis (@peternlewis) reported

@Optus No, it's not that—I own a very very generic email address, and people use it when they can't (or don't want to) use their own. Your customer used my email address, and then without verifying it, you sent the standard "how did we do?" email, inc his name and some purchase details.

  • RogerHass7 Roger Hass (@RogerHass7) reported

@abc730 @ClareONeilMP Whilst the personal data of every Australian is in the hands of overseas Service Help Centres that represent the Help Desk Service of large Companies like Telstra, Optus, Energy Australia, etc., the security breach is the price you pay for giving them access to the Servers.

  • will070572 Will (@will070572) reported

@steelite @Optus I am having the same problem I got a Apple Watch 8 from Optus store and have not been able to set up the number share. I have contacted Optus on a number of occasions and have not got a resolution after a week. I am ready to return the watch and cancel my service with Optus

  • Garfiel1010 Garfield (@Garfiel1010) reported

@ServiceNSW Do I not need to replace my driver's license if I am not a Optus customer ?

  • Marjon_Z Marjon Z (@Marjon_Z) reported

@sixlunas @Optus You’re in Seoul, but you’re a customer.. An apology would be nice, also keeping ppl properly updated & keeping the info safe would be nice. The gov either is paying for/ forced them to pay for the licences. So no they haven’t done enough, they just take your money and don’t care

  • 2FLY_TYE 2FLY TY (@2FLY_TYE) reported

@Telstra Optus and telstra goes down so we get @elonmusk new phone and his #starlink

  • KeithNAdcock Keith Adcock (@KeithNAdcock) reported

Over an hour waiting to get served at an Optus store @Optus and still waiting…can’t fix my issue online…

  • coneylsland 💀 (@coneylsland) reported

**** optus man never authorised any sort of auto payment plan & just got charged my weekly grocery budget. so guess i’ll be eating air for the next week. 🖕🏼

  • RudiEdsall Rudi Edsall (@RudiEdsall) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

I may have had all my personal data stolen being an Optus customer, but at least I get one bar of 4G reception in a cafe in Brunswick

  • dgorbach 💙💛 David L. Gorbach (@dgorbach) reported

@GladysB Optus and the Optus App have gone from great to good to terrible. Humans want a sensible voice on a the phone. Just because it can be automised doesn’t mean it’s wise.
