    Just signed up to #Optus. Receive product, need help installing/starting up said product. On phone placed on hold for an HOUR and a HALF only to be told there's no one who can help me and to hang up. App doesn't open up past pending screen. Not a good first impression here.

    @sdomsta @Optus The irony was in my setup I couldn’t even login to the Telstra app - was stuck in some loop were I basically couldn’t do anything other than wait on the phone for hours.

    @adambspencer See, when I was with optus it’d be a few times every hour. Now, I understand, the system is under duress; even in our house, there’s six people viewing, streaming listening. But it’s not as bad now as it used to be. (With Aussie Broadband now.)

    @joshh_dp In recent years I’ve gone Optus > Telstra > Voda and I can say that at least Optus tried to come up with compromises whereas Telstra basically told me to suck it up. I haven’t had to seek support from Voda yet.

    @royfrancisbrown @ssharwood @NBN_Australia @Telstra I thought they acquired it, then realised what a steaming pile of crap it was, and decided not to bother using it. Optus and Telstra cable largely shadowed each other anyway. No point having both for the majority of locations.

    @thomas_no9 @TomWilliamsPol Foxtel offered much less cash compared to Stan and Paramount. And Foxtel would have not cared much about football, they would have not advertised or put any effort into the live coverage. Paramount currently sucks yes, but like with Optus, they will improve

    Optus service on northern end of Central Coast is continually failing. Mobile will not accept incoming calls just advises”service not available” on two mobile phones. Medical reasons makes it a necessity to have mobile reception.

    @Optus The service has failed me completely. The mobilesx2 will not accept calls. States service not available. Dodo is provider and message bank has been deleted now not answering at all. We are elderly and mobilrpesvrequired for medical reasons.

    Sorry: Boring Tweet. I'm with Optus, which is on the Telstra network, third day in a row of an issue under investigation rendering me unable to work. Frequent issues for the past 6 months - I need a better option for work, arguably an essential service.

    @Optus @iheartguitar If you're interested in alternatives @VodafoneAU had been great especially with their 4G backup, so even if NBN goes down the connection still works. Nowadays internet isn't a luxury, it's livelihood and companies need to step up their game to match.

    @Optus you need to sort out your support. The service status page for my address shows a fault that is 'under investigation' but chatting with an agent indicates there is no fault in my area. All I want is an ETA for restoration.
