@royfrancisbrown @ssharwood @NBN_Australia @Telstra I thought they acquired it, then realised what a steaming pile of crap it was, and decided not to bother using it. Optus and Telstra cable largely shadowed each other anyway. No point having both for the majority of locations.

Just signed up to #Optus. Receive product, need help installing/starting up said product. On phone placed on hold for an HOUR and a HALF only to be told there's no one who can help me and to hang up. App doesn't open up past pending screen. Not a good first impression here.

@adambspencer See, when I was with optus it’d be a few times every hour. Now, I understand, the system is under duress; even in our house, there’s six people viewing, streaming listening. But it’s not as bad now as it used to be. (With Aussie Broadband now.)

@joshh_dp In recent years I’ve gone Optus > Telstra > Voda and I can say that at least Optus tried to come up with compromises whereas Telstra basically told me to suck it up. I haven’t had to seek support from Voda yet.

@DoctorKarl Yeah, the December 2021 Dee Why NSW and surrounding suburbs tempest took out electricity and Optus telecom towers for around 48-36hrs. It was strange not being able to use mobile to look up estimated electricity restore time. Had to walk 1km to get signal from another tower...

@Telstra #Telstra were promised they had all issues dealt with in January. I've spent hours and hours on phone, emails, in person, taken it to my local federal MP. Now it's too late. I've submitted it to the Telco Industry Ombudsman. I've moved everything to @Optus highly recommend.

@optus the upgrade to the network in Wahroonga was supposed to be completed on April 29. It is now May 1 and myself as many people I know are still unable to access anything faster than potato speeds. What is going on?

@Optus Can’t receive calls on one of our company phones. Goes straight to voicemail. Been on Optus chat messaging app for 40mins and haven’t even gotten past verification. Anyone else solve this problem? Optus you can do better.

@Optus I'm interested in the Samsung Galaxy A13 phone on your shop which is on a discount right now. I have an old Optus choice plan which I'm happy with. I pay my bill by Bpay, my account is almost always in credit and I've been a customer for over 5 years. 1/2
