@davidcrisp666 @NewtonMark @NBN_Australia Optus didn't give a shit once they realised they were being paid by NBN for it. NBN stopped caring once they realised the POS the Optus network that they'd bought was. The surprise when they "found out" about the state of the Optus network was laughable.

Optus NBN sucks. The technician didn’t show up today and I’ve had no internet for 2 days. Last time this happened I had no internet for 2 months! @Optus 😡 not happy.

@simonwaight @Telstra @Optus This is a business account which apparently by law they have to issue a monthly paper statement for. Part of me wants to let them keep sending me paper statements for years. But environment says no.

@Optus Thanks for the message Jono. But I find it quite strange that a company whose net worth in 2019 rose 13 per cent to $S3.9 billion can’t or won’t tell me when a $1500ish phone is arriving and takes over 14 days to “understand” an incident.

@optus my service tech who was supposed to arrive between 1-5pm today has not turned up. I took the afternoon off work to wait for them, but they haven’t arrived. This is the 3rd time they have failed to arrive.

Soo my @Optus NBN is still not fixed. Everytime I call the help line they tell me the same things over and over. I’ve had to cancel appointments to wait for the technicians they supposedly booked. But none show. I’m so over this bullshit. It shouldn’t take a week to fix!!

Looks like you’re hinting at Aussie Broadband whose CS is second to none except when Optus upgrade their towers to 5G - nothing for 8 weeks

@MikeCarlton01 @nick_street1 iiNet were once the best, but when Michael Malone sold to TPG, all service calls etc., were moved to South Africa. This created many problems for us in Perth, mostly through the connection to NBN. So, after 22 years loyalty, we left. Now with Optus 5G - 19 months in and great.

@ireneoduffy I used Optus for 1 year and never again. It may be "fine" in the city, but somebody who travelled a lot regionally (cycling, skiing, eating) and to Tas it was complete ******* garbage. Churned back to Telstra immediately, absolutely not worth the hassle IMNSHO.
