melanie morgan (@melanie_mogs) reported from Fingal Bay, New South Wales@Optus the worst service ever!!! Only been with you 5 months, took 3 weeks to change our numbers over, not 4 hours. Didn’t mention putting pins on account so someone took 8k from our account. Now we have a 2k phone bill. Time for the ombudsman!
-
Kira (@Kira67469865) reported from Ferodale, New South Wales@Optus streaming issue, constantly please check internet... friggin fix ypur issues ....
-
Andy Jacobs (@andyj150) reported from Port Stephens, New South WalesDear @ParamountPlusAU At 12.53pm a tradesmans radio innocently gave away the Socceroos efforts this morning, thereby breaking my media Blackout while waiting for P+ to upload the replay. IMO the app in its current state is not useful for football fans. Please be like #Optus

melanie morgan (@melanie_mogs) reported from Fingal Bay, New South WalesWhen @Optus cut off your old phone number, but2 days later haven’t set up the new one, despite calling back into the shop twice. That’s 2 days of not being able to get in touch with kids/school etc starting to wonder whether this was the best network choice. Poor service so far
-
Kirrilly Thompson (@DrKirrilly) reported from Port Stephens, New South Wales@abc730 @arielbogle Online tenancy, rental and property management software is collecting more extensive personal data than Optus, including birth certificates, passports and personal histories. Let's hope they are doubling down on cyber security.
-
Nick Wasiliev (@Nick_Wasiliev) reported from Fingal Bay, New South Wales@bennya_84 It worked for a lot of the prof. era, but it’s clear now it’s a damaging relationship. Move with the times, like you say. For example. Optus’ streaming service has over 800k subscribers, which i recall is more then double Fox. - more emphasis and alignment on domestic 3rd tier...
-
Kira (@Kira67469865) reported from Ferodale, New South Wales@Optus wtf is going on with your services . Fetch, hayu, you name it. Keeps saying no internet but we do!!! Going on for days.

-
Evangeline (@evangelinestuff) reported@thmsenglsh also their service is $70 a month for no good reason (they raised it because they added satellite sms) they profit consistently every year whereas optus basically makes a little more than enough to continue operating, the difference in revenue is crazy between the two
-
Raymond McKeown (@RaymondKeown3) reported@TimjboAU I will be more than interested if this has been issues related to routers in call centres, and what was the country of origin, I did recommend long ago to Optus the reasoning for not using a certain China Telco provider. I wonder if history has repeated?
-
A K (@AK22762976) reported@Birdsperch Clearly no contingency for terrestrial fail [all eggs in one basket] even with satellite backup downlink distribution relies on terrestrial bearers (circuits), Even Optus with satellite support incorporates terrestrial distribution -Contingency planning is key & costs money
-
dont keep the fire burning ✨ (@duhlings) reportedlol Telstra outage means we can’t take payments this morning at work. I’ve never been glad to be on an Optus phone lmao
-
naymmm (@Naymmm_) reported@stupidtechtakes reminds me of the optus outage (**** optus they killed my xiaomi 15 from connecting to optus networks)
-
Jack The Aussie (@hammerofleft) reported@amagickeagle999 You stupid ****. She was mouthing off about increasing standards and enacting penalties for service outages after the Optus crash but has done **** all. So you partisan ******** get some facts, she ****** up.
-
saint_ted (@saint_ted3) reported@TonyShepherd4 Where was the communications minister? Some one needed to step up and actually test it! Not like the the bungled Optus uggrade where the 000 outage went unnoticed for hours. Smart and proactive! Not something you Labtards would know anything about Tones.
-
Casey McGregor (@CaseyMcGregorAu) reportedSo we have another outage impacting 000 calls in Australia, this time by Telstra. This has already happened with Optus twice if I recall. Enough is enough. Renationalise Telstra and Optus, and give them all the funding needed to maintain, develop and expand our telecommunications infrastructure across Australia in the interests of the people rather than private and foreign shareholders. #auspol

Toobs (@lockie_crash) reported@MickamiousG @Starlink When starlink finally get their mobile plans into Australia Telstra will be done within 2 years...one of Vodafone and Optus will survive as a budget telco, but people won't be paying Telstra prices for dogshit service
