@P_T_Ager @joeywhykes11 @Adrian_Poly Yeah really keen to get to Optus. Absolutely loved Adelaide Oval with a full crowd as well. I used to go to the Gabba and the SCG both very regularly when I was posted in each city in the RAAF. Can comfortably say old Carrara was the worst ground I’ve been to.

Optus admit they need to communicate better with there customers after the breach of customer data. They did this by running a print media one page spread 🤪 Seems more like PR then actual actions

  • VioletGre3n Violet Green (@VioletGre3n) reported

@ClareONeilMP How should former customers - who can’t contact @Optus via messaging app (no current account) or the phone (terminates our calls when we can’t enter a current service) find out if impacted?

  • sortius sortius (@sortius) reported

Why did the hack happen? Poor corporate governance. What enabled it to happen? Data retention legislation. Who's responsible? Optus and everyone who voted for data retention legislation #insiders

I've been trying to contact a friend who is going though a difficult time. She lives in central Queensland. She has had no phone service for 2 days because @Optus has been down for 2 days in her area, people need to dump this carrier, as if there data breach isn't bad enough.

  • jasonc_here Jason C (@jasonc_here) reported

@Optus #qld hasn't had #DaylightSaving for a very long time. Something about cows fading. Can you please #Fixit travelling regularly I don't want to have to adjust my phone all the Damn time

  • anon49658 anon49658 (@anon49658) reported

@ichimikichiki @AnnastaciaMP @TMRQld Once you get your new CRN, your old CRN will no longer be valid ( cant auth with it). Also you will need the breach notice emailed to you from optus to receive a new CRN (cant just say "optus hack") What nightmare? I see no issue with getting a new CRN?

@computer_phile please do a video on the Optus data breach in Australia, and what can we do to better secure customer data.

  • Fishman_Dan Daniel Cohen (@Fishman_Dan) reported

@InsidersABC @GrogsGamut First change would be to stop calling it a hack. It wasn't, they opened a door to anyone who wanted to come in and access live customer data. Secondly, Optus Executives getting sacked would be a good place to start.

Julian Morrow RN Round Table Discussion re Optus CEO All about managing media after event! What about the responsibility of MANAGING & preventing the issue beforehand? This was a technically preventable failure #OptusHack #auspoI

  • Okayojay Brendan Sheedy (@Okayojay) reported

As a long-standing @Optus customer I was concerned about the hack & loss of my private data. After hearing nothing I inquired what personal info had been leaked on Thursday. Optus replied after a few hours - none. Relieved but also uneasy- was this only a limited hack?
