Mark Potten (@MarkPotten) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@Telstra Too late I’m afraid given this issue has been on going since January 31st I should have been a high priority. The actions go to show how @telstra no longer value their customers. @optus

Mark Potten (@MarkPotten) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@telstra so after being on the phone mostly on hold for 1:02:11 making a formal complaint I was hung up on. I still did not receive my complaint reference number. I guess you really do want me to use another telco such as @Optus or @TPG_Telecom
-
PK (@KalinaPaul) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@Optus I sent a DM @7.16am this morning as requested and I still haven’t heard a word from @Optus. Poor customer experience!
-
Michael Cartwright (@nsbeverage) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@Optus Many time @optus but nothing ever gets fixed. Perhaps stop over subscribing your cable pools and it wouldn’t be a problem.
-
Carrington Brigham (@DigitalMediaBoy) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
Don’t go with @Optus for NBN it takes them 30+ days just to relocate you in the same building. Isn’t that awesome service. Think it’s a case of them being too big too care about their consumers these days.
-
Paul Mulligan (@buyersagentssyd) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
Shame on @Telstra if you think @Optus is difficult to deal with don’t go to @Telstra. No customer service & an oversees call centre were they can hardly speak English! Try @vodaf
-
Mark Cohen (@markc) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
Looks like @optus account login is down - wonder if they use AWS in Sydney too or if it’s coincidence

@optus please comment, my colleague next to me is having exactly the same issue, but told to go to an Optus store to sort it out. I’m worried now because I’m porting a number to you.

Dear: @Telstra the customer service in your George St, Sydney store on Wednesday was terrible. I'm switching after 20+ years to @Optus ❌❌❌❌❌
-
Lyn (@lyng62) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@Toddy2102 @Optus @NBN_Australia I get well over 90 down speed at the moment and I need it for work.
-
Lyn (@lyng62) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@Toddy2102 @Optus @NBN_Australia Thats Correct. I rang Optus while the tech was still here and said - do not switch anything over until we discuss the issue of the NBN modem and router being DOWNSTAIRS now when my cable connection comes straight into my office which is UPSTAIRS.
-
Mark Potten (@MarkPotten) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
So in another post @telstra have basically admited that they don’t want my business. Or care about customer service. It’s so nice to be a customer these days. @Optus #customerservicefail
-
Scott Murdoch (@murdochsj) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@Optus @australia2 Good luck mate. Seriously the worst customer service company in Australia esp issues around nbn
-
CPG (@ColourpurpleGal) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
So Twitter @Optus is just as shit as all their other mediums at customer service. Telcos should call it what it is, NON-service.
-
Not for you (@bcg1976) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@Spoonyman @tasmaniatalks it works by using any tower. Not just telstra, optus, vodaphone, etc. That's how it improves service for emergency locally. Mainly it's just a work-in-any-country solution as it's a part of the cell phone spec irrespective of provider/country.

@cambabs @Optus After opening an account, I have never been asked to provide license or passport numbers as a form of ID when making an enquiry with my phone company or my bank. It's always Full Name, Address, Phone, DOB.
-
Bohica (@Bohica95338120) reported
@elijah_esq @newscomauHQ The API Swagger is provided by CDR team itself. Their designs are pretty good and secure using FAPI 2.0 and OAuth 2.0. framework It's Optus's failure that they had an unsecured Dev API opend to public and backend connected production datasets with customer PII data.
-
James Cattermole (@JamesCattermol1) reported
@hughriminton I was a Telstra customer until their appalling service caused me to get a black mark against my credit totally due to their massive incompetence. Optus have been very good in the 20 years since I started with them... until now.
-
brain][medicine (@medicine_brain) reported
@SusanLa69642683 @MFWitches @Optus That us too. Left them 5+ yrs ago because they were the worst phone co I've ever dealt with now find out my partners details have been compromised.

ENDING CAVEAT: We don’t know if this is what happened at Optus, but generally is a security issue that has cause problems in the past. Only Optus has the full story on this, and hopefully we will learn it soon.

-
♡ (@lucyintheskaii) reported
if I were an optus customer I’d be doing everything I can to help sue ******** out of them. That amount of private information being leaked is abysmal.
-
Greg Lions (@LionsGreg) reported
@theprojecttv And so they should..Optus error, they should pay to fix.
-
Ravi Nayyar (@ravirockks) reported
If these actions merely get up (ie before trials are done), @asicmedia must seriously consider going after the Optus Board. I say that because, even if the class actions are settled/decided in favour of Optus, the reputational damage already done would be more than terrible.
