@ReganAM2210 @Optus @Telstra If you don’t have much luck get in contact with Aussie Broadband and connect with them. They don’t **** around like the big guys do and they’re direct and up front.

This also following from the run-around from Optus in the attempt to establish whether my ex-customer status was any bulwark against having my personal info leaked. Their response? Either "we can't find your info" or "use the Optus app!" which helps approx. zero percent.

@noshamecreative Things I wish for: 1) Optus didn't have such crap security so I don't have to check EVERYTHING forever (just caught 2 fraudulent trans on one account!) 2) the ability to sleep 3) my old dawgs eyes to get better

@goodfoodgal I’m very pissed off with @Optus If my personal data also includes my profession at the time of commencing my service with them, then it exposes me to a greater risk than the majority of the customers. 😡

@mhackling I think it’s safe to say that that discussion was much harder pre-Optus stuff-up. ;-) Now think of all the poor legal beagles trying to figure out what data their organisations retain and under what pretences.

@SenPaterson if the current Communications Minister has been asleep at the wheel in regard to Optus then you’ve been dead at the helm for the last nine years…… the issues at Optus are Optus issues alone… what did your lot do ??? ….. NOTHING

@samishah @Optus I left the major telcos some time ago, bought a phone upfront from Apple and used small high quality providers found via product review, eg C-Mobile, Moosemobile. Same network access as major providers but cheaper and superior organisations. Even Aldi not bad prepayed.
