@dilemski @Telstra Yeah I know. After 4 days it’s still not lit. I’m using my mobile as a hotspot. Thankfully @telstra are “working on it” *insert rage-filled sarcasm here*. I should have switched to @Optus instead of trusting Telstra to provide a decent service. I’m sure they’ll charge me for it

@giveusaW @Kel_McFletch @Optus Telcos are disgraceful Martin. When Telstra failed me, and like you I needed Internet for work, I claimed $25k compensation for 30 days without service. They settled $10,000. Optus owe you similar.... Not to mention losing your personal details! Don't give up.

@msfang @Optus @Telstra Worst part is, we had plans for this weekend, but had to transfer money just in case and it didn't transfer straight away. So it's messed our weekend up. We're on edge.

So how many folks had their private data exposed by both Optus and Medibank? Surely has to be hundreds of thousands. If we had a way to sue for breaches of privacy you'd find this **** would get attention

@Optus But Jim you won’t. 21 days and nothing, been referred to two supervisors, one of which said he has taken ‘ownership’ of my issue. I’m not convinced and yet again distressed and disappointed.

@MackayIM @aparachick Far from it. I could list half a dozen attacks since 2019 in this country with at least as much impact as the Optus breach - and they’re just the ones we know about. The 2019 Chinese ANU breach was probably the worst of all of them for long term impact.
