  @dilemski @Telstra Yeah I know. After 4 days it’s still not lit. I’m using my mobile as a hotspot. Thankfully @telstra are “working on it” *insert rage-filled sarcasm here*. I should have switched to @Optus instead of trusting Telstra to provide a decent service. I’m sure they’ll charge me for it

  @Optus Thanks Jono. I freakin LOVE your network and have never once had an issue Optus and should not have signed a new bloody contract with Telstra...lesson learned.... 😓

  @Optus And the session time-out keeps interrupting me when I'm talking to a customer support, I have to log in again after a while. Why is that? Can the product manager explain? The overall experience with Optus apps (Web and mobile) is painful, and a simple request would take days.

  @MichaelRuyg yep, when they built the NBN fixed wireless tower, that carries optus and vodafone as well, it had a backup generator. then the tower got "upgraded" with 6 months of regular outages and then next power outage we discovered the backup generator and the ability to call 000 was gone

  Australia switched off its 3G network in 2024, since then Jazz IR roaming stopped working in Australia. Community raised it many times with Jazz, to always receive a reply to adjust network settings to no avail. Please talk with Singtel/Optus to restore Jazz IR in Australia.

  @showcallcrewing @NBN_Australia I ended up using iiNET because the offer a 4G backup, very important for work. And Optus did not help when NBN tech disconnected me, by mistake, as their record were not accurate, so they cut me. For it sorted in 3 days, but no apology from NBN for their error no follow up.

  @cookyourgarden @valuetainment They dont have lowband spectrum in Australia (nor in the US) without doing a deal with existing providers (Telstra & Optus) so dont get your hopes up. The spectrum they do have is mid band and would require phone manufacturers to support it, also needs a clear path to the sky to work.

  @FrankWCE1992 @kanecornes Are you ****** retarded? We share a home ground with 5 other clubs you spastic. Zero neutrality in it when we play hawthorn or Richmond (even though they are **** at the moment). We would win MORE games as an average team if we had an Optus Stadium advantage.

  @JoGu1802 It was because Optus no longer supported the iPhone 5 on its app that I upgraded. Because it’s DAMN hard to use the app to prepay for your phone when the app doesn’t… support your phone…

  @KobieThatcher @Ann19851873 Agree 💯 Also with the recent Telstra outage and formed Optus outage. Both affecting Eftpos networks and ATM’s. Cash is king for many reasons including privacy. Do not let cash die out.
