@Optus Thanks Jono. I freakin LOVE your network and have never once had an issue Optus and should not have signed a new bloody contract with Telstra...lesson learned.... 😓

@dilemski @Telstra Yeah I know. After 4 days it’s still not lit. I’m using my mobile as a hotspot. Thankfully @telstra are “working on it” *insert rage-filled sarcasm here*. I should have switched to @Optus instead of trusting Telstra to provide a decent service. I’m sure they’ll charge me for it

@newscomauHQ In Carlingford NSW - locked down - Optus have dropped out mobile and internet services for many in a vulnerable area. They have advised they will fix in 10 working days. That's 10 days of vulnerable ethnic groups not having phone or internet services.

@Optus I had a relocation request on the 31st of July which was a Saturday to my new house. Optus failed to activate my NBN connection and now I’m without NBN in lockdown in Sydney with work tomorrow. I contacted the customer support team and they can’t help me. Pathetic 😠😠

@Optus No, with respect, because I want the general public to know what's going on. I wouldn't do this normally, but people in this area are at risk. We are one of the LGAs locked down. High migrant population. This has now been days and days and all replies from Optus are delayed.

@Aussie_BB I have been informed by someone that you have chosen to go with @Optus as your mobile carrier instead of @Telstra Please say this isn't so. Optus sucks where we are so Telstra is the only option. You'll lose customer's because of this decision.

@Optus @Uber Optus - despite the fact we can't go far from home- tonight I found out just how severe the outage is in Carlingford, which is in lockdown. It goes on for streets. You've really let the migrant community down here - Migrant communities matter as much as the eastern suburbs !

@LukePGavin In fairness, yeah kinda. Severe weather warning in place in perth and it’s very swirly at optus. But also just bad kicking too

@Optus So I've just had a reply from Optus telling me mobile reception for a locked down, vulnerable area will be fixed within 10 working days. Mark this - if there is an outbreak in Carlingford many residents won't have mobile access. Many won't have internet access.

@Optus excellent service provided by Optu today. If it wasn’t for 38 min wait and multiple messages from experts/specialist and a busy supervisor who didn't have time to come on the phone, wouldn't have saved myself 50 bucks moving to @coles mobile. After 5 years, bye bye Optus.

@Aussie_BB @Optus @Telstra What's the point of having a better plan and day if you can't get decent or even ANY reception? Bad move.
