    @dilemski @Telstra Yeah I know. After 4 days it’s still not lit. I’m using my mobile as a hotspot. Thankfully @telstra are “working on it” *insert rage-filled sarcasm here*. I should have switched to @Optus instead of trusting Telstra to provide a decent service. I’m sure they’ll charge me for it

    @Optus Thanks Jono. I freakin LOVE your network and have never once had an issue Optus and should not have signed a new bloody contract with Telstra...lesson learned.... 😓

    @VicGovDH hi guys, are you aware of an issue with Telstra SMS messages not being sent to Optus Mobile customers in the past few weeks? I'm not sure if this impacts texts sent re: Covid testing/isolating etc, but I hope it's something that's been brought to your attention.

    @Optus Oh look. 6 days in, a third pointless and frustrating hour long session on the phone to @optus yesterday, and my SIM card still isn't activated. Seriously. You tell me I have to call for security reasons. 3 calls later, screw your security. Just activate my damn SIM.

    So, you can register an Optus flex prepay account for $1 a day and get a second mobile number for burner use. It comes as an eSIM over the air. Cancel the subscription after day one, and it still accepts inbound texts and the number stays active for 6mo.

    Three “upgrades” to the network in my town in the last three months, and yet my service is worse than its ever been, and half the time actually unusable. Great work @Optus 🙃

    @Telstra I have been a loyal customer forever, your reception down in Blairgowrie is so poor. My wife went to Optus and I bag her for the choice due to Telstra best reception, see ya Telstra such a crap company now
