@dilemski @Telstra Yeah I know. After 4 days it’s still not lit. I’m using my mobile as a hotspot. Thankfully @telstra are “working on it” *insert rage-filled sarcasm here*. I should have switched to @Optus instead of trusting Telstra to provide a decent service. I’m sure they’ll charge me for it

@Optus Thanks Jono. I freakin LOVE your network and have never once had an issue Optus and should not have signed a new bloody contract with Telstra...lesson learned.... 😓

@Not_Fred_Nerk Hi @Not_Fred_Nerk, ID Support NSW is working with Optus to support customers with NSW government-issued credentials, such as a NSW driver licence or birth certificate, if they have been impacted. 1/2

@Hammyhamster10 Optus customers vote with your wallet. Big business treats you as a number. Statistically they know you are serious about a complaint when it gets to the 5th attempt. Take your business elsewhere at the first opportunity. They don’t deserve the chance to re-win your trust

I asked does this mean if I get a new phone and new contract there are no fees? "Yes" was the response. I told them, great I'm going to Telstra. I left due to that poor customer experience. Did I just get an email from Optus? Yes. #optusbreach 3/3

@BoonBroAus 💯👌 no way they had openenly accessible ways in. all a load of horse ****. Optus would have been hacked long ago if that were the case... They simply sold off their customers data and blamed a hack. it seems to be the in thing for mass corporations these day. nothing is safe

Yesterday I went to (no)Service NSW to change licence, because OPTUS. They told me to ring IDCare, rang them and after a long wait on hold told to go to (no)Service NSW. #FFS

@Leighlo @alexkidman @Optus So, in other words, option 4: I’m likely safe but they’re really **** at comms that would reduce customer anxiety by explaining these things. I wonder how many ppl are currently changing IDs etc out of an abundance of caution when their data wasn’t compromised?

. @optus it's pretty poor that I have heard more from my bank about your poor API security than I have from you.
