@Optus Thanks Jono. I freakin LOVE your network and have never once had an issue Optus and should not have signed a new bloody contract with Telstra...lesson learned.... 😓

@dilemski @Telstra Yeah I know. After 4 days it’s still not lit. I’m using my mobile as a hotspot. Thankfully @telstra are “working on it” *insert rage-filled sarcasm here*. I should have switched to @Optus instead of trusting Telstra to provide a decent service. I’m sure they’ll charge me for it

Everyone piling on Optus atm. And for sure this is a disaster for many. But I've never been in an organisation where human error did not lead to sensitive data being exposed. Maybe just an email sent to the wrong person. Maybe something bigger. Unfortunately human error remains

@Optus 4G in Coffs Hinterland has been rapidly grinding to a halt. We are 15+kms from tower but with external antenna we were getting 30+mbps. Now less than 10 mbps & often down to just kbps ( dial up). Their complaint system isn't working... I wonder why

Sorry, the report on Glady B is not out yet so we don’t know what the NSW ICAC will find. Furthermore, no one forced her to step down. She chose to do so herself. And, she got a high-paying job with Optus not long after so her reputation obviously has not been destroyed #Qanda

@CraigclCarey I asked this question in July at Optus Carindale before the data was-all leaked. I was merely upgrading my phone. Been a customer for 20 plus years. It was their “policy” apparently and couldn’t be bent at any cost. It was all for my protection they said, hahahaha.

These things are taught in beginner programming classes. It is frankly, unacceptable for a large company like Optus to have these sorts of problems in their public facing systems. Millions of Australians (myself included) are now at risk of identity theft, fraud etc. 5/6

@trevorlong As a current customer, I was delighted (not) when I got an email from Optus stating I was a FORMER customer -now is the time that they pay attention to the small details to start rebuilding trust with consumers.

You'd have to be an idiot to sign up to FlyBuys or Everyday Rewards after the Optus debacle? #QandA

I’m not sure if there’s a valid reason for it or not, but why did Optus have details that didn’t seem relevant to their service #QandA
