    @NiKKi_E13 @Nick56412479 It’s interesting because I was with Optus 4 6 months over a decade ago-but they were terrible!I hear they’re not much better now & Telstra’s security is definitely better.I’m glad you had a positive experience during such an awful time though! Also glad you’re not with them now!

    @Optus An abject failure of leadership.Most found out via News.I was notified after 5days,by email.Why not an immediate txt to my (Optus)!phone.Still no announcement on your FB page.If you did not have an emergency response plan for this,you should be ashamed.If this is your plan..same.

    @jaimyn_m Just to double down a lot more, @Optus offer victims a years subscription to @Equifax to monitor their stolen data. Equifax were found guilty of a Data-breach of 50mil customers. So far has cost them over $2billion in fines & compo.

    I wonder why no one has mentioned apropos Optus that passwords can be encrypted in a way that they can NEVER be decrypted and put at risk. One would have thought it would be best practice.

    @Optus I am an Optus customer and can I say you have nothing to be sorry about to me. It’s a sad reality that companies need to have high security for customer details today, the criminals who hack companies are the people who should be sorry. #OptusDataBreach #Optus
