@Optus is the a known issue with Fetch streaming? I’m on Optus NBN and have no issues with any other internet/streaming services. Streamed channels not reliable, on demand (e.g. BBC catch-up) not working at all. Done soft reset, still broken.

  • MonBLeaves Monica Bradley (@MonBLeaves) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@ConniePaul2018 @EnolaGrae @CNN What about the families of 100,000 Covid deaths from #Optus incompetence. Grow up you elected a guy with the temperament of a 5 year old WTF

  • etredoo D (@etredoo) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@optus HUGE MASSIVE THANK YOU for being the provider that got our NBN installed in less than 2 weeks. No text messages back and forth for 6 weeks just amazing service! @Telstra you need to take a leaf out of their book 6 weeks of bullshit vs 2 weeks and NBN installed #yesoptus

  • TimmyfromOz888 Timmy (@TimmyfromOz888) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@sandyhunter2 @Apple I would just say the Optus Sim hasn’t “engaged” yet ... I know sounds stupid but try the ol “turn off turn on” trick

  • NTEUQldDivSec Michael McNally (@NTEUQldDivSec) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Optus Hi Aaron. I would love to use the app but your system now has the wrong date of birth for me after 20 years as a customer. And when I finally got through on Thursday and did my ID check - no problem. Something wrong with your app.

  • Bf99Floyd Bev Floyd 🇦🇺 (@Bf99Floyd) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Everything in my world seems to be taking longer. My computer has slowed down. I no longer have email.(Optus has no online techicnical team). It took me an hour and a half to get through to Telstra. My washing machine is broken. My TV doesn't work. All I have is Twitter. TGFT.

  • mr_mouse Mr. Mouse (@mr_mouse) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Optus I’ve done all the checks. IView, etc. all work fine on the Fetch box. It’s the streaming channels that take ages to start and give streaming errors. Catch-up like BBC First are really bad and often fail to start a show, showing a streaming error. Looks like Fetch service prob.

  • _rigormoris_ eggs fan page (@_rigormoris_) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@rab_s It’s so ******* annoying they ALWAYS get the first attempt wrong to a business and it only arrives successfully after optus email them letting them know the business name and floor. How ******** don’t they have a work around for this yet? it’s incredible

  • TimmyfromOz888 Timmy (@TimmyfromOz888) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@imogynmargaret @ktdenise @Optus I’m Optus no problems my end... odd

  • damienpbuckley Damien Buckley (@damienpbuckley) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

  • BorisOsery Boris Osery (@BorisOsery) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@OptusNewsRoom I ordered a SIM card online on the 25/09/20. The Optus site says 3/5 business days delivery time. Optus can you tell me should your advertising be 30/50 business days delivery?? It’s the 12/10/20??? 🤬 WTF

  • JoGierke Jo (@JoGierke) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Optus so we are now into week 3 of no service to my Apple Watch and no idea when this will be fixed even though I have had a tech unpair my watch many times, many attempts and trips to the store and 2 new sims... what’s the plan @Optus move back to @VodafoneAU

  • itsOnlykhem ThatGirl (@itsOnlykhem) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Wth @Optus! What is up with the service today. It’s been lagging all day and it’s driving me insane. FIX IT!

  • NigelBell19 💧Nigel Bell (@NigelBell19) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Greybeard3 @JohnBirmingham @Optus I didn't go to TPG but I did leave Optus. I twice had to call to cancel, going through the whole process twice. But, for over a year now, Optus still sends me monthly invoices that (a) state that I have a 9 cent credit & (b) the 9 cents is zeroed off at the end of each invoice.

  • NTEUQldDivSec Michael McNally (@NTEUQldDivSec) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Absolute crap service from @Optus “more than an hour and so we won’t be dealing with your call today”. #optusfail Yasmin got through and they wouldn’t let her just report the fault even though she has an @Optus account at same address. Complete failure of their outsourcing model

  • etredoo D (@etredoo) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@optus HUGE MASSIVE THANK YOU for being the provider that got our NBN installed in less than a week!! No text messages back and forth for 6 weeks just damn amazing service! @Telstra 6 weeks of bullshit text messages vs 1 week and NBN installed #yesoptus

  • VikTechGeek Vik (@VikTechGeek) reported

@bengrubb Looks like I need to find another private health insurer...these clowns are as bad as Optus in leaving doors and windows open and just giving away our PII to hackers...they will next claim the attack was sophisticated when it is their stupidity that is the problem

  • JacMay19 Jac (@JacMay19) reported

@Optus Gone round in circles. Call us they say. Hung up on 5 times & so asked them to call me. They can't call me they say. It's only a phone company. Sending me insane going round in circles with this bull💩 excuse for a service. I need the information they are hiding to get their help

  • OswaldRooster Olly Rooster (@OswaldRooster) reported

@Martyfields Couldn’t they just teach Optus how to secure a network?

  • NEUROMASTER9 NEUROMASTER (@NEUROMASTER9) reported

We have discovered a group connected to the #OPTUS @OPTUS Hack Clearly this group is still in the OPTUS network Phone Number (03) 8001 7268 Clearly Spoofed Number Beware of 0380017268 More info to come soon #NEUROMASTER

  • CeeJay_au Cee Jay (@CeeJay_au) reported

The quality of response and care that Optus showed after the data breach should push every customer away from them. The mess that they caused and affected lot of institutions in the country (banks, dfat, transport deps, police...) should lead to cancelling their license. #Optus

  • julieptorres21 Juls Torres (@julieptorres21) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

What's up with @Optus? NO SERVICE AGAIN! 😡

  • JacMay19 Jac (@JacMay19) reported

@Optus Hey Tam. I am getting nowhere with you. You could simply call me. How hard is it for a communication company to talk to a customer?

  • Jeremy_Kirk Jeremy Kirk (@Jeremy_Kirk) reported

When Australia's @medibank insurer said on Monday it stopped the "precursors" to a ransomware attack, I didn't think it was going to turn into a hold-my-beer incident vis-à-vis the @Optus breach but unfortunately that's where we're at today. Just awful news. #auspol #infosec

  • TheSaltminer Haa! After ten thousand years we're free! (@TheSaltminer) reported

@BrentHodgson @Nicolette_Boele That wouldn’t be the same Paul Fletcher who, as Communications Minister in 2019, oversaw Optus getting permission to sidestep all those burdensome and onerous encryption requirements for customer data, was it?
