    Our nbn internet/phone service isnt working. A @Optus techician was sent to my home to find out why we dont have nbn internet. He told me there is something wrong with the fibre optic internet cable. The cable brings the internet to our home.

How ISPs Block VoIP ISPs control the core network infrastructure, so they can inspect and filter traffic before it reaches customers.     @MichaelRuyg yep, when they built the NBN fixed wireless tower, that carries optus and vodafone as well, it had a backup generator. then the tower got "upgraded" with 6 months of regular outages and then next power outage we discovered the backup generator and the ability to call 000 was gone

    In what they claim is a world first, $NOK and Optus used a robot dog to measure mobile coverage and design 6G networks. They also conducted a 6 GHz spectrum trial, in which a user could download a 2 hour HD movie in just a few seconds, or support over 140 simultaneous 4k video streams.

    @FreedmFightr1 When OPTUS stadium was built in WA originally they wanted to charge obscene prices for crap pies until the backlash. But that's the mindset. Instead of being grateful. They want to milk the supporters DRY!

    Further update, Mum was just on the phone with Optus and apparently Optus (an internet provider) isn’t able to call NBN to fix this, they can only text message them. Or at least that’s the line they are spitting out about the network degradations DO YOUR JOB!!!
