@Optus your 5G service is really terrible. It’s been awful for about 3/4 weeks but on and off awful for months. I really need to get rid of this and look at going on your other plans or elsewhere….

The plumber ****** the NBN cable and I am now without wifi and phone. Plumber notntaming responsibility because it wasn’t “regulation”. Waiting to hear back from Optus to see when NBN can come out to fix it.

@ParamountPlusAU @lfc2379 Umm. Problem. Apple TV's don't have a web browser, how can I watch this game on my apple TV. Also, your excuse for lack of apple TV support is unfounded when I watch many other live sporting matches with other apps on Apple TV. 10play and Optus sports have no issues.

  • PagewoodCoach Rubens Camejo (@PagewoodCoach) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@MelbInvest @nyunggai @HelloMakkaPakka Yes & no. If you work for Optus but doing the praises of Telstra you're going to get sacked. In effect Kitching was sacked To fix it? Requires a referendum. Factions are funded by outside interests unions businesses, individuals with an agenda etc. That's hard to remove NEXT

  • AjaanMark Dr Mark 🎄 🏴 🇵🇸 อาจารย์มาก (@AjaanMark) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Dollaryd00s I have an Optus 4G dongle as well as my phone and both seem slow since Wednesday.

  • lissyvz67 Lissy (@lissyvz67) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Is it an #optus tactic to make getting something fixed so difficult that customers just give up? I've had no nbn since 16th February and no one at #optus seems to care or want to help her the nbn working again. My son works from home. This is just not acceptable.

  • LimeEyed LimeEyed (@LimeEyed) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

  • Scribe31oz Linda Thackeray (@Scribe31oz) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Optus I'm ready to go elsewhere. I am 5 days with barely any phone service because you people decide to do upgrades in the middle of a pandemic where people are advised to stay home.

  • Scribe31oz Linda Thackeray (@Scribe31oz) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Optus Quade, My number is 0413910086. 109 Mcloughlin Road morayfield O7/04/1969 They are doing upgrades but my reception is so bad I can only call out if I leave the house.

  • todd42246896 Todd Hacking (@todd42246896) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Hey @Optus - I’m so annoyed. The service I’ve received is beyond appalling. I have a personal account and recently changed the business account to you but I’m told your crm system can’t differentiate or create two distinct entities - causing confusion and mix ups. It’s 2021!

  • cpltalk (((cpltalk))) (@cpltalk) reported

@StGeorgeBank Thanks. Will save me some dosh too since it's a fee carrying card that I use for investment property expenses. It's just I don't trust the way StG responds to IT issues. It's a cultural thing. Ask @optus where that leads.

  • MD_Gamification Gamification of Life (@MD_Gamification) reported

Australian phone service provider #Optus has been hacked recently, up to 10M customers are potentially affected, #Optus is required to hold details of customers for about 6 years to comply with Aussie regulations. The hacker has a $1M ransom or they will start selling data

  • firthyz Andrew Firth (@firthyz) reported

The Optus data breach has led many helpless to ask this question. If my passport, drivers license numbers are compromised, how can new ones be issued without huge personal cost and inconvenience? This is big issue that government departments can help address @ausgov

  • saci68 sachi (@saci68) reported

@Jeremy_Kirk @allyjfoster Several on the forum are speculating he got paid and now 'backtracking' so Optus don't look stupid!

  • WayneFe20727934 Wayne Ferguson (@WayneFe20727934) reported

@joshgnosis So glad I’ve never been an Optus customer.

  • Salena449847469 Salena (@Salena449847469) reported

@kbrspace We called number in Philippines call centre you gave us in email. They couldn't give any information at all not even if my details was one the leaked on line. We're is the help? Organise a australian call centre that can help us .This is ridiculous. You should be sacked #optus

  • lilacjay2 Janet ⓥ 🔥💧🐋🐬🐳🐨🦘🌱 (@lilacjay2) reported

@worldzonfire @Optus I seem to recall companies must retain account details for something like either 7 or 5 years by law. There was some chatter about looking into this and changing the law. Let’s hope so. I’m in the same boat. Was with Optus for a while but bad coverage made me change carriers.

  • 2LapsDown Jogathan Runman (@2LapsDown) reported

One upper level manager at Optus who sacked a bunch of staff to save money and therefore got a huge bonus, will now get another bonus because the resultant cuatomer service levels made the Optus hacker give up a million dollars because it was easier than dealing with Optus.

  • MD_Gamification Gamification of Life (@MD_Gamification) reported

I am a customer of #Optus unfortunately so I need to be extra cautious, I’ve already had some scam emails & texts #OptusHack #OptusDataBreach 📱

  • Enjoythe_Day 🌞Enjoy the Day🌞 (@Enjoythe_Day) reported

@SharynLeeMcG They keep records to validate your account and ensure the next time you call in, they can verify it is you, but those records are typically heavily encrypted and securely protected. This failure by Optus is seemingly simply not following elementary protocols. Very poor indeed!
