    @GaryNunn1 Aldi mobile uses the Telstra network without the Telstra price... but not sure if it supports things like multi devices or Apple Watch - I put my husband on $35 Optus plan (plus $15 to link iPad and the watch was free for the first year) with 30gb

    @cathywilcox1 @Optus I hope they're a having a good hard look at themselves after loosing my phone 18 days ago, and refusing me a loan phone, refusing to suspend my network access charges and refusing to replace the original handset, which was still under warranty

    dearest @optus , I phoned you, and asked to be put through to the customer retention team. So far, I have been transferred 4 times, and am now on hold.. after being told that the wait time will be 15 minutes. #optus

    @Telstra It has a yargi rooftop antenna. Installer says the issue is alignment of distant cells and jumping from one to other and dropping out. Have 4 bars on Optus.

    Dear @Optus you are a disgrace, cancel my ADSL as I am signed up to NBN well I would be but still waiting for a modem from you from 10th Oct, rang help desk and Annika CB690949 was going to ring me back in 10/15 minutes 40 minutes.

    @Optus Thank you. It’s a pity your chat help couldn’t check this. Or at least advise me to look at it. I was asked to reset my phone, remove my SIM card, change various settings. Each of these solutions were suggested multiple times despite advising none of them corrected the issue.

    @Optus hello, we got a new plan yesterday and the sim is not yet activated. Not in store, not later as told, not thanks to the online chat agent today, and I can't find the way to do it. Kinda need to be able to use the phone... please help.

    Good work @Optus I recommended you to my father, but after buying a SIM he’s spent hours failing to get it activated via your automated customer anti-service system which is apparently designed to thwart victims from getting to speak to a person. Never recommending you again.

    @3AW693 That's silly. Optus is a good value service provider, it would be throwing out the baby with the bath water. This hack could have happened to anyone, and I doubt we've seen the last of its type. Their communication could be better, agree, but to wish their failure is stupid.

    @Jeremy_Kirk #Optus appears to have had no authentication, no monitoring, no alerting and no change control around their customer database. And now all of their customers will pay the price. It's not an #OptusHack it's an #OptusDataCockUp

    So, I'm thinking it will be cheaper for them (since they're footing the bill) if @Optus discloses to each affected customer which identity documents they have stored for customers. Do I need a new Medicare card or license? Or passport? I can't remember what I used! #auspol

    The reason why it is important to have a class action against @Optus for their irresponsible lack of protection for sensitive customer information. Is because there are no existing laws to fine them hard enough so they don't do this stunt again as an Optus customer I am fuming¡!!

    So I received an email from Optus "Dear former customer". I had an Optus mobile in 1996. I had my first email address in 1998 and the email that received the email from Optus I didn't create until 2008. How does that even happen?

    @GordyPls @clothedvillainy @dawnstarau I know I'm preaching to the choir but it doesn't require the info kept be "relevant to the service" of an ISP, only that the info is "relating to the service" for the purposes of identification. Of course this is why Optus would have wanted the Medicare number in the first place.
