    As an Optus customer affected by their data breach , a visit to their office in Coffs Central was a fail, as they were shut. Sign in windows said no staff.

    @Belle6738 @alifrance5 @Optus You would be surprised what people can couple your license details with to literally rob you blind. It's not just the 1 bit of ID they have, that's the problem. It's scary

    @3AWNeilMitchell He is doing something you dill . Read a newspaper or do an Internet search Sad state of affairs when state govt employees have to spend weeks fixing an Optus breach of security . Terrible for Optus customers

    @TristanAR_ I've thought about this briefly and I'm not sure the federal government has the general capacity or IT expertise to fix Optus or even run Optus to the current standard that Optus do.

    @AngelComrade Expect more scam calls pretending to be from Optus. Their script now has more credibility with claiming hackers have hacked the network. People can easily be fooled now. Hang up and call Optus directly.

    @SenPaterson @Birmo Why wasn't the Telecommunications Act changed over the last decade to remove the need for OPTUS to keep all that information for people who no longer had accounts with them. Snivelling ****.
