@DavidLeyonhjelm Yes, I am in OPTUS Customer and that’s what I thought. They are blaming OPTUS 100%. OPTUS didn’t give away all those statistics. Someone hacked and stole them. The public has been very poorly informed on this situation.

Optus calling their problem a cyberattack leaves the impression that they are the victim. Crap, leaving the back door open forever then complaing about being robbed is Neglegence. So if you use a company that will not accept responsibility is only your fault. Leave now .

So wondering how many Optus customers are considering ditching the telco because of the data breach they incurred. Are you an existing Optus customer? Would you consider leaving them?

  • bzdavidson ben (@bzdavidson) reported

@optus If you cared about the data breach you would have written a better email yesterday. “Oh, this happened, it’s bad, go check out the government website or go to this website” Not a link, no instructions, just go deal with it yourselves. Terrible. Now I have to spend time

  • HRR99796859 ezz (@HRR99796859) reported

How dare you @Optus first you allow all our personal information to be stolen and now your not co-operating and handing over that info to the government. 🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻 I will never ever use your dodgy service ever again. I hope a case action is started you ***** 🐶
