@GamersNexus @HardwareUnboxed Though I've got mine on a special early-bird deal, pay 30AUD for like 55GB per month. Though am using the Optus network so it's usually congested during the day and only get 50/20Mbps with my S10+ in the middle of the night xD Which is the same speed as my NBN :P

Optus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Megsymu Megan Stubbs (@Megsymu) reported

@VictorDominello Just plain old “human errors”!!! Optus has already lost the trust of its customers. You would think it would be going above and beyond to do whatever to make this process as less stressful for all its customers as possible! A “re-imbursement scheme” is nightmare in the making !!

  • S370HSSVO773H 💪🏻👔🤳🏻 (@S370HSSVO773H) reported

@10NewsFirst Want a scoop involving Optus. @BleepinComputer has layed it all out for you. The hackers have apologised to Optus customer and discontinued the ransom demand. Hurry. Be the first. YW

  • Megsymu Megan Stubbs (@Megsymu) reported

@VictorDominello It’s up to OPTUS to get the money re-imbursed from Service NSW! Customer confidence is at an all time low, if they trust the re-imbursement scheme , then THEY can be the ones to use it. Make the licenses FREE (what with the high cost of everything else and rising 🙄) AT OUR LIMIT

  • Ogregator Cranky (@Ogregator) reported

@MichaelPascoe01 @hughriminton Im an optus customer and i don't expect them to replace my passport

  • hereliesvince vince (@hereliesvince) reported

@geo_genesis @Optus like how does this **** happen...

  • dwightwalker Dwight Walker (@dwightwalker) reported

found @optus should get another CEO if this one can't handle the mess created by #databreach - a better IVR setup for past customers - it's very ad hoc and very Optus - going in circles to chase paperwork to prove customer is not fraudulent which in end stops them getting result

  • M_Sighil Mirka (@M_Sighil) reported

@DeclanMila The issue in Aust was a hack of a telecommunications company Optus which downloaded private information of millions of customers & c. 10,000 people's details were leaked online. Optus needs to improve security. Also, companies shouldn't be storing personal data in the first place

  • amitlu89 Ross (@amitlu89) reported

To be clear, I believe Optus should provide this option to its customers. I even provided feedback to Optus support staff that this should be an option. If others would like to try, please do so. And in either scenario, raise it as feedback. Then we all win.

  • shokwave2 Matt (@shokwave2) reported

@VictorDominello Yeah I won't be paying a $29 replacement fee. Optus will be reimbursing me my whole contact for this **** up.

  • virgotweet Stuart Tomlinson (@virgotweet) reported

@SenPaterson @Birmo James Patterson. Optus created the problem and Optus should pay for the problem, not the Australian taxpayers. Optus is an overseas company owned by Singapore Telecommunications Limited.
