@actgovernment The pressure is on this normally very proactive government to help us quickly do whatever can be done to help us get out of this mess that Optus has put us in. Please.

@hughriminton As long as #Optus pays. Strange how IPA drones like Paterson are all the sudden socialising costs for corporate security errors

  • Samoskal 😷🇺🇦 Steve Moskal Wear masks, its VIRAL LOAD (@Samoskal) reported

Re Optus data intrusion the issue isnt that the data for all cust's is kept 'in the same place'. It could be kept in separate databases but still be accessible to retrieve all in one go programmatically. The issue is the method of access, why is that provided ? What is the need ?

  • ArchyJaneF JaneEvil (@ArchyJaneF) reported

@SenPaterson @Birmo This is down to Optus. Optus is not a government entity, therefore any recompense is up to Optus. Nothing to do with gov, all they can do us expedite passport processing which they are already trying to do due to the mess your lot left behind

  • Anouk724 Anouk72 (@Anouk724) reported

@Optus I know you’re busy trying to figure out how to provide millions of customers with some info (any!!) on the data breach but is 10 days for a formal complaint with a missed call voicemail & no further follow up standard practice for dealing with billing disputes?? @abcnews

  • __ikreezy iks (@__ikreezy) reported

Why can’t hackers erase the hecs debt…wtf is Optus gonna get ya?

  • Dee_Ryall Dee Ryall (@Dee_Ryall) reported

We just got an email from Optus about the data breach saying as a former customer of Optus, some of our personal information has been exposed. It was to someone of a completely different name. Right email address though. 🤔

  • neildsmall neil small (@neildsmall) reported

@SenPaterson @Birmo Optus should pay , it’s not the state or Federal government’s problem

  • cycling_monkeys ƬΉΣ ᄃYᄃᄂIПG MӨПKΣY (@cycling_monkeys) reported

@hughriminton The SA Premier has announced that those affected by the Optus hack can get new drivers licenses free of charge. Costs will be passed onto Optus and Feds should do the same. As an Optus customer and ex employee, I hope that they are financially shafted for their incompetence.
