@ThoughtVacancy @wayne_kag @AlboMP It is a problem and it bloody well exists!!! Ever tried cancelling Optus Sport, BigPond Broadband or Foxtel? Try listening to Optus's "give me the simple life" hold music for 2 hours.

@AlboMP I paid Optus ~$40 every month for a full year, and now I couldn’t able to cancel my SIM service. It’s incredibly frustrating and unnecessarily difficult. Services should make it easy to cancel if you’re not happy with them - not trap customers like this. Optus, sort this out! 💸😤

@DeadSlugg @Aussie_BB 🫠 from Telstra to Optus to internode to iinet to Aussie bb but honestly you’re probably right if the don’t get their stuff together. It always starts the same, then you see the customer service start to deteriorate, then the service. Who are you with now?

.@Optus I was told my phone I ordered with you would be delivered Wednesday, waited all day, no advice. Still waiting, no help from StarTrack or Optus ….bah!

  • OzToby
    Toby (@OzToby) reported

@Optus until you improve your service you have no business increasing your undeserved fees a whopping 7.7% - above inflation. You are already overpaid at the current fees for what customers get.

SpaceX is now the most valuable telecom company on earth and it doesn't have a single retail customer yet. Telstra, Optus, Verizon — all about to find out what happens when one guy with rockets decides your industry is too slow, too expensive, and too protected by government.
