  @JimThom90458694 Just as with the Optus and other high profile hacks, it is our stupid 🇦🇺 government that insists on comprehensive customer data being retained for two or three years rather than being collected and retained for only as long as it takes to confirm the account, a couple of months.

  @chdyctt I cancelled a contract with Optus 10 years ago due to their relocated contact centre. Was awful, but Telstra ended being cheaper believe it or not. In saying that, communications need to be explained easy & not written by AI and signed off.

  @Zaica71 Hi there, as mentioned by my colleague, this is a built-in safety feature within the phone. Based on the notification, it seems that the change is not permanent and will unblock all numbers for a 2-hour period to ensure that you are reachable by emergency services.   Imagine cancelling a family plan & replacing it with another service, funnily enough which costs more. Customers needs aren’t changing, your greed is. @Optus, this is appalling & just outright greedy. I will be taking my business elsewhere, along with future required services.

  @KateBartlett34 @freopics_ @freodockers I think it will be more about the ladder for them especially with Tex playing away from home but either way I never think any game is a given. We do not have to win it but I hope we keep our Optus record alive for sure.

  @FreedmFightr1 When OPTUS stadium was built in WA originally they wanted to charge obscene prices for crap pies until the backlash. But that's the mindset. Instead of being grateful. They want to milk the supporters DRY!

  @jazz_worldpk @jazzpk Australia switched off its 3G network in 2024, since then Jazz IR roaming stopped working in Australia. Community raised it many times with Jazz, to always receive a reply to adjust network settings to no avail. Please talk with Singtel/Optus to restore Jazz IR in Australia.
