@AgedAndrew @Optus The CEO in Australia isn't the problem! Their IT dept & engineers are! I hope I'm not immeshed in this Optus disaster, all I've got is an email saying blah blah but nothing to reassure me that my details haven't been disclosed!

  • LauraJcookies Laura Jensen (@LauraJcookies) reported

Getting my optus direct debit feels like it should be illegal right now. Very good at making sure my cash comes their way every month, very bad at keeping my data secured @Optus

  • shaunieboy59 Shaun Rogers (@shaunieboy59) reported

OPTUS - could you please let me know if my data has NOT been breached. In limbo and clearly a forgotten customer.

  • _Gumboot_ LN (@_Gumboot_) reported

@Optus - As a former business customer who no longer works for my old employer, I am trying to find out if my licence has leaked. As you can only send an MFA code to my old work email, that I can no longer access, I am now forced to go into store to change the email addess. Why??

  • NickAppDev Colonel Klink (@NickAppDev) reported

Hey @Optus I can't connect to the internet via the NBN. FTTC modem 2nd light is flashing red. Please help.

  • johnb78 John B (@johnb78) reported

@s1cox @domknight @Optus Fully agreed, but the bad decision here is in the government guidance rather than having been made by the telcos (which is not to defend Optus's terrible protection of the data, of course)

  • SupergranIsBack 💧🌏 DragonFlame81🐀💉x4 (@SupergranIsBack) reported

@RichardKGrump @WhteRbbnAdvocat Do you think people affected by Optus leak are desperately closing all their Social media? I am fortunately not affected but would be in flat panic & wld certainly cancel them.

  • TheAviator1992 Stephen 🇺🇦 (@TheAviator1992) reported

I 100% support @MarkDreyfusKCMP's push to limit how long companies can hold onto our data. As an example, wholly owned Optus subsidiary Amaysim still has my account data. Despite leaving over six years ago, I can still log in and there's no easy way to delete it. Not great.

  • Greg_IX Greg (@Greg_IX) reported

Well done @optus , leak our data and decide to employ a disgraced ex-premier... Bad form! Time to find another provider IMO. 😡🤬

  • margo694 margo694 🌴🌊🍍🥂 (@margo694) reported

PAUL O’SULLIVAN Chairman, Optus has been Chairman of Optus since October 2014. When you look at the list of executives at @Optus there does NOT seem to be an executive in charge of SECURITY. It’s all about marketing. Who is in charge of protecting the network. ?????
