I know I'm a pendant but can we just stop calling data heists "cyber attacks" or "cyber security attacks"? At Optus, Medicare etc there was no attack. An attack would cause damage. It's cyber theft. Or an online breach.

@Ellen28900 @gasugasu1984 It wasn't a password breach but the type of data is very sensitive which is of concern. Like the Optus hack a problem is other players causing harm. Like pretending to be a healthcare provider you use saying your last payment didn't go through and to please pay again but to them.

The @medibank hack is appalling & utterly reprehensible. These large service corporations incl @Optus typically charge like wounded bulls, are ornery & condescending to deal with, clearly spend insufficient on rock solid #data security then sell us customers out? Disgusted.

Day 1 internet drops, can’t load different pages inc twitch 2: was told it was works in the area (lie) 3: rebooted router and speed test still no resolution 4: tried to open a case, was told our net is fine from their end 5: buy new router 6: put on hold for 1/2 hour @Optus
