The difference between @Telstra and @Optus … my home internet was down for over 4 days during a lockdown and I had to basically follow up every time myself to see if it would be fixed.. $5 credit. Optus, service is a bit slower than normal, here is $21 credit and a sorry.

  • Andrewwhite74 Andrew white (@Andrewwhite74) reported

@Alannahjoynes The original question was about gold coast.. freo however have been much bigger failures for a longer period of time.. heck, the eagles have to bail then out financially every year. The reason optus isnt 70,000 is freo knew they would never fill it.

  • fluids_guru fluids_guru (@fluids_guru) reported

@simonhackett @AussieBroadband I'd like faster upload too (I spend all day connected to AWS EC2 boxes). I also need to issue a correction to @alexbhturnbull as I stated years ago that when NBN replaced my 1990s Optus HFC with another HFC I thought I was doomed to 100 Mbs max forever. Apparently not!
