Optus tried to offer me new iPhone 11 with unlimited mins/texts & 10GB data for 24 months for $125 a month or something stupid. Crazy to think how much I’ve spent in the past on contracts, from now on.. I’m paying cash out right. So much easier no hassle not tied in..

@JudkinsSimon Optus can top that. Promised my phone broadband (b4 NBN came late LAST YEAR) next day, but the package was labelled "must be delivered before 12:00pm" and the van for this area always left at 11:00 so 3 days I waited...WTF? It wasn't milk for heavens sake.

@mylesdavies @Optus We're not massive internet users, but have been happy with iinet for years. Recently switched to a cheaper faster WiFi broadband after it taking a month for NBN (not iinet) to fix an issue.

Optus sent over a technician who said I need to call to get a new modem. Called Optus and they’re saying it’s going to take 24-48 hrs for an “expert” to call me and approve it. Even though someone has already seen my issue first hand...

@masericha I will tell you what this is, It's Optus cable that has been hit by a truck ripped of it mount, Fire brigade has been called for a power cable down when crews arrive on scene they bundle up cable notify vkn8 that cable is Optus wrap it up in grey tape and safety tape and leave!
