@NJGalea @Optus I had so many problems with them when I signed up. Never again. I'll take my chances with the clowns at Telstra rather than this mob again.

So, @Optus put up my phone bill because 'inflation', but has done nothing about my complaint about having no coverage many times over the past 4 months. I guess it's back to @Telstra for me, but I don't hold out much hope it will be better. Duopolies suck.

Nothing like spending your spare time in an @Optus store because the customer service call centre are so inefficient & haven’t cancelled two numbers, one dating back to October 2017, despite being asked to on more than 2 occasions. $120 p/m charges need to be reimbursed, too.

A week later and still no resolution. Just infuriating comments from people on the Optus messaging service who have clearly not read the case notes. @Optus you need to fix this…

@yodaberg @Optus I’ve had alot of problems with them lately & the only thing that worked was going into a store. Chat is probably the next most helpful & you can get a transcript of what they’ve promised to action.

@Optus Oh great, so that makes keeping your customers without nbn service for 24 hours absolutely fine. No, I don’t have an Optus mobile and given this keeps happening probably won’t have my internet and fetch tv much longer either.
-

@Optus Just wondering if there is an ETA on when the issues with NBN in my area will be resolved? Currently I have reduced service since morning

@Optus There actually YOUR internet speeds. I’m just paying for them. So to be fair - I’m sorry to be experiencing your internet speeds. Now that is clarified let me confirm this has been a consistent issue now for quite some time. 5g set up in Mentone victoria. Be better Optus.

@Optus I have since called the store in question. They tell me they are a franchise and they then stated 'We can do what ever we want as we own the store'. Very customer centric.

@Optus The "My Optus" app is frustratingly useless. It shuts down if I try to load half it's functions. I've called several times and advised to uninstall and reinstall, which I have done MANY times but the app STILL doesn't work.

turns out #4G on #Optus or #Amaysim is faster than @NBN_Australia to download 65MB file from @ITMastersCSU as NBN (25min) was slower than 4G (30sec) on this file - it was network or router not server

@ixrwork @Optus Telstra's chat line is the same. Each person says 'I'll pass you on to xxx, who has your details, so you don't have to repeat yourself. xxx comes on line and asks all the same questions. 🙄 Whoever runs that outfit has no idea about service. I should come out of retirement.

I've started using Amazon Music bcoz it's a part of the he deal I have with Optus but I've noticed that the app is **** compared to YouTube Music. It feels like a web app, not native. Anyone else notice this?
