    @jobsts @Optus Yeah … kinda not at all happy nor impressed that @SlaterGordon is asking for full contact details simply to provide “updates” on a possible class action. Bad show, Slater + Gordon. A first name & email should suffice, not my full name & home address. Read the friggin room, FFS.

    @HappyNacho73 I think it has to be a big enough number, like 1million+, they would have not enough people to follow up and also would struggle with the loss/missing income ... But if Optus falls over we will have other problems ....

    If Optus is fined the fine should be paid to customers not the regulator. Same with other regulatory fines. The customer is the one hurt not the govt.

    Hey @Optus , I’m a former customer. I no longer have an Optus linked email so how will I be informed as to whether personal information has been hacked?

    Ok @Optus what now? You’ve given away my name, address, DOB, email, ph number, and ID docs So how are YOU going to fix this? I shouldn’t have to go to your website to get the latest info You need to fix this NOW

    @StephenJonesMP I have NOT been an Optus customer for YEARS. Given the known attractiveness to scammers when you are a massive data holder, why did Optus retain my personally identifying information?

    @Optus #OptusHack #optusfail As an ex customer and technically minded person, i am so livid that Optus’s incompetence regarding managing customers personal data has led to this situation. That and completely failing to adhere to the Australian Privacy Principles.
