@LesStonehouse @Optus There is, I think I remember correctly, a period of up to 48 hours where a new service replicates across a WAN (wide area network).

Last year I had my identity stolen including drivers licence details changed, partially at the hands of Service NSW. Good luck Optus victims getting your licence changed. Even when they were part of the fraud I’m still waiting for my new licence.

@jodieingles27 Sadly closed my Optus in 2020 so will never receive email but have recently changed legal name & updated everything so hoping that’s ok

First of all, it's not an #OptusHack, it's an egregious leak. But secondly, is there any indication that @optus has EVER deleted any personal customer data? With no evidence to the contrary: EVERY PERSON WHO HAS EVER BEEN AN OPTUS CUSTOMER HAS JUST HAD THEIR DATA LEAKED

@GourmetMale @timburrowes @GrogsGamut It will be interesting to see if Mark Potter (CIO) joins the list. The previous CISO had left at the end of August. An argument could be made by the CIO that security related issues are properly the responsibility of the CISO. However the CISO reports to the CIO at Optus..
