@toninicho I am now, seriously, thinking of changing my carrier after years of being with Optus Problem is Telstra cost me a first full money last time I was with them and I dropped Vodaphone over their poor customer service.

@LesStonehouse @Optus There is, I think I remember correctly, a period of up to 48 hours where a new service replicates across a WAN (wide area network).

Hello Sydney folks, I was surprised to know from #Optus that it takes minimum 5 internet dropouts in a day to engage #NBN to fix the annoying intermittent internet dropout issue, I'm facing this whole month of Dec '20.

...2/2 @Optus literally what I had told each person I spoke to. If the app is down, uninstalling won't help, & I just need to respond to case mgr. What a waste of time. Answer "we will call you" isn't helpful when I have to ask agent prompting q's to find out it will be in 24hrs

@Optus I have persevered enough. The fetch box is about 4 years old and skips recordings or worse still records that cannot be played. The connection to tv is also bad as occasionally I have dark screen for a second or two. Tried changing the hdmi but no luck. All I need is a new box.

@Optus I called to tell tech that app is under maintenance & not letting me reply to case mgr, & ask how I can reply. I get transferred around for half hour, made to uninstall my app unnecessarily then someone tells me "the app is down, try again in 48hrs"...1/2...

@alexeiw123 @BJafari In my particular neck of the woods Optus is better, cheaper, and their customer service is superior to Telstra. To access Telstra mobile internet for home, Yagi $1400 aerial was bought. (no NBN, never will be, satellite too Rooney and expensive for my pensioner parents)
