Hi @Optus ,my #iPhone has died 🪦and the good folk at my @Apple store tell me its beyond repair. I've been advised by your customer service that I can't buy a replacement phone and continue my existing contract. I have to pay it out. Is this true? I am having trouble believing it

@PearlescentMoon Another option is 5G through Telstra or Optus, if they have a decent signal in the area that could be a winner, latency should be on par with FTTN, but ymmv

@Telstra Thanks Jax and @Telstra. The place I stay at each time is in a little valley which struggles with Telstra. It is the hillside across the estuary from the Merimbula airport. @optus have good service here but you don’t. Unfortunately my mother in law refuses to buy fixed wi-fi.

@Optus I have no idea what this means. @Optus has said they will resolve things several times now, wasting my time to tell me two staff members have now made the safe mistake in providing the information they provided. I don’t see any resolution possible for me only forced to agree

@Optus I can understand the issue, it will be good if optus can organise a call back service rather than asking customers to hold the line.
