@RuddTash @Optus It depends on your state requirements. For NSW, checks require both license number and card number to match. On Service NSW site, you can find a FAQ. You can't get a new license number normally unless there's proof of fraud.

@Optus @RunnerSA18 I finally got you to agree to provide me with the identity and credit protect with Equifax but the promo code you gave me is invalid and I can't get through to your customer service. Please DM me with a valid promo code.

@vicki_woods_au Having worked at Optus Enterprise for 3 years (left 12 months ago) I can tell you KBR (as she is known) will be hurting from this data breach. She is tough but. Never count her out. Massive job ahead for her and Optus to rebuild trust with the Australian consumer.

@andrewsnitch @newscomauHQ Has nothing to do with the Optus breach and storage of customer PII though. It's a third party that Telstra used to use for corporate rewards. And the only data is name and company provided email address.

@EFTM If you think that Optus is handling the data breach badly, try and get your international roaming working!! My wife has been overseas for 2 weeks now, and hers is still not working, after being in contact with Optus for hours on the phone! We are both migrating to Telstra!

@animoller @Optus I used their chat service. But I didn't do it through the app so I wasn't "verified" (now they worry about data protection) and they were useless. Finally used the chat through the app and got the info I needed. Talking to others it seems to be hit and miss depending who you get.

@esscee13 @MadsMelbourne @Optus Somehow I don’t believe Optus was hacked they’re trying to use it as a reason to go digital. Only problem is how was Optus hacked if not digitally? So in that case it proves going digital is NOT safe.
