@NBN_Australia An update: called @Optus who transferred us to @NBN_Australia who then told us that there is an outage in the Sandy Bay (Tasmania) area and that the internet would be on in 4 hours (9pm last night). 9pm has been and gone. Standard troubleshooting, eg reboot hardware, etc & nada!

@Optus @NBN_Australia Currently on hold to Optus & online chat. We’ve been told the relocation request we put in doesn’t exist, even though it is in multiple chat threads with Optus who said they’d arrange this. They recognised that our service was previously working, just not with the speed boost WTF

And with newcombe I think this is the game we make him play more attacking go for the tackles. He did 11 today

Pretty disappointing chat experience with your @Optus NBN Broadband agent. Not believing the customer. Poor knowledge and slow to process an escalation request. Not helpful at all. Gigbabit speeds slowed to less than dial-up with no explanation.

@ConorTee @Optus Got them for the kids phones. May have to look into a family plan. Can forgive the ineptitude of @Optus- it’s an Australian TelCo, after all- but the dishonesty and terrible customer service means I’m done there…

@andrew_the_pom @Optus @OptusSport Yeah, I was severely disgusted when first told about this but it's been massive that they've kept it free for this long. They're not getting anything out of the customers who just add Optus sports for season based subs. It'll be $6.99 for existing customers, which isn't bad.

Hey @Optus, we've been without NBN for around 24 hrs. The chat bot tells me that it doesn't know how long before it will be reconnected. It would be good to know to make plans to work from home or otherwise. Could you help me?

Wow, @Optus… Woeful roaming experience in EU, requiring chaotic upgrade for purposes of achieving actual roaming… Was on oath-sworn reassurance that old contract could be resumed on return to country. Reneged on that, obvs. Just a terrible, terrible service.

Its 21:36 on 5/6/2022 and I've just had to reboot my @Optus 5G broadband modem because it was disconected from their network again.

@Optus Furthermore because of your crappy network my wife arrived home in the dark because network down = automatic lights unable to switch on. You’ve not created a safety issue.
