@NBN_Australia An update: called @Optus who transferred us to @NBN_Australia who then told us that there is an outage in the Sandy Bay (Tasmania) area and that the internet would be on in 4 hours (9pm last night). 9pm has been and gone. Standard troubleshooting, eg reboot hardware, etc & nada!

@Huawei_Europe Years ago #Optus have me a @Huawei loaner mobile phone while mine was sent off for repairs. It was the worst piece of junk I'd ever come across. I gave it back and bought myself a cheap, far superior @NokiaMobile . #Rubbish

@Optus @NBN_Australia Currently on hold to Optus & online chat. We’ve been told the relocation request we put in doesn’t exist, even though it is in multiple chat threads with Optus who said they’d arrange this. They recognised that our service was previously working, just not with the speed boost WTF

Just been informed by Optus my details had been stolen in the data leak. #OptusHack I hadn’t been worried about this because I haven’t been a customer for over 2 years. NOW, I’m f🤬ing worried! How long are they allowed to keep me ‘on the books’ when I’m not their customer???

@9NewsSyd Optus can help by providing the details of those whose data got compromised to Service NSW who can then automatically re-issue cards. No need for individuals to do the running around as it wasn't their fault.

….. Back when NBN was first rolled out, I was constantly getting network dropouts. I lost count of the times I contacted Optus about this over 9 months. In the end, I contacted my local Federal MP who got the issue fixed in days. To call Optus a “technology company” is…
