Well I think I'll be staying with Telstra after all, after the garbage customer service I've received from @Optus this week. #notimpressed As a customer service rep myself, I know the value of good service. That ain't it, chief.

  • BrisketInTexas Chris Paul's #1 Fan (@BrisketInTexas) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@Adelaid_H Oh **** that's nuts. I work at Optus and all the pros are listed as backorder atm

  • CountessAu Countess 🍸 (@CountessAu) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@Huawei_Europe Years ago #Optus have me a @Huawei loaner mobile phone while mine was sent off for repairs. It was the worst piece of junk I'd ever come across. I gave it back and bought myself a cheap, far superior @NokiaMobile . #Rubbish

  • LilMrPotatoHead Littlemrpotatohead (@LilMrPotatoHead) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@OptusSport We'd love to enjoy @OptusSport however our @Optus nbn is down for 24-48 hours 👍

  • ollie_bo Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@Optus @NBN_Australia Currently on hold to Optus & online chat. We’ve been told the relocation request we put in doesn’t exist, even though it is in multiple chat threads with Optus who said they’d arrange this. They recognised that our service was previously working, just not with the speed boost WTF

  • ollie_bo Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia An update: called @Optus who transferred us to @NBN_Australia who then told us that there is an outage in the Sandy Bay (Tasmania) area and that the internet would be on in 4 hours (9pm last night). 9pm has been and gone. Standard troubleshooting, eg reboot hardware, etc & nada!

@ServiceNSW FFS sake a highly stylised corporate ad pitching the Optus disaster was not that bad after all. Those fckrs should never be in business in Australia send em back to Singapore. My wife hasn’t been with Optus for ten years got a letter saying her name and personal details hacked FFS

  • PaulieIsHere Paul (@PaulieIsHere) reported

  • Banana16Eric Eric Banana (@Banana16Eric) reported

@MRobertsQLD One minute you are for Big Oil, & then against Big Pharma, another minute against Govt involvement & then all for it, with subsidies for Big Oil & Gas, one minute against Govt data collection but fail to see this is held by private companies such as Optus. All over the shop.

  • N860CR Daniel (@N860CR) reported

@Optus Explain how a senior case manager can have such a poor understanding of your products? Your roaming doesn’t work, I can’t make outbound calls and your case managers would rather argue with me! Stop the modern day slavery and bring your operation back onshore as @telstra have

  • iDesignGuyau Brendon C (@iDesignGuyau) reported

@Optus if you can’t get number share working can we return our hardware since it doesn’t work on your system? Or can you help us switch providers?

  • skyemyers1989 Skye April Myers (@skyemyers1989) reported

Thank you very much Timothy Butt from the complaints team who spoke over me, raised his voice at me was rude to me, was condescending to me and tried to force me to make a decision that would be leaving Optus and cancelling all of my plans because he was with holding…

  • mitchostheleo Mitchusmaximus (@mitchostheleo) reported

How absolutely garbage is @optus ? I went to activate the equifax credit monitoring subscription they provided, and the code isn’t valid, I am completely unsurprised.. so absolutely typical of the standard of garbage service this corporate junk pile gives its customers.

  • kushal_aiyappa Kushalappa Aiyappa (@kushal_aiyappa) reported

@Optus I reached Service desk.. They are asking me to call Ho line tomorrow.. I been asked to go around loops now

  • Roger_J_Penman Roger Penman (@Roger_J_Penman) reported

Hi @Optus we received a letter about the cyber attack breach. You got the address right but the customer name was TOTALLY WRONG. Seems you can't even get the basics right.
