    @NBN_Australia An update: called @Optus who transferred us to @NBN_Australia who then told us that there is an outage in the Sandy Bay (Tasmania) area and that the internet would be on in 4 hours (9pm last night). 9pm has been and gone. Standard troubleshooting, eg reboot hardware, etc & nada!

    @Optus @NBN_Australia Currently on hold to Optus & online chat. We’ve been told the relocation request we put in doesn’t exist, even though it is in multiple chat threads with Optus who said they’d arrange this. They recognised that our service was previously working, just not with the speed boost WTF

    I have had a lot of broken sleep since it was revealed that Optus had a cyber attack and that all their customers details were now in the hands of the hackers.

    @TooheyMatthew Haphazardly? I have been with Dodo and another provider both of whom used the Optus 3G network. I wonder if these companies are affected by the data breech?

    @BLShiv @Smushster @Jeremy_Kirk Rubbish. This is in no way deliberate. It's clearly a bug. Optus would not have wanted this and this is evidenced by the API being taken down.

    @KoparaFallsKid O dear. - Tell me please: I'm with iiNet but I think they still use Optus network; my texts have been delayed by HOURS since this happened; do you think that would be associated?

    @mflbg @kristenglenist1 @Jeremy_Kirk I upgraded a plan in December after being a customer for 4 years and I had supply identity documents too. I’ve had my info leaked. Optus stink

    @TorSamundsett @Optus I've begun the slow transition to new everything. @optus you have my bank details to deposit the money to pay for the new passport I have to get due to your management/systems failure

    @CarolynJanson @KoparaFallsKid Unless you’ve been a customer with Optus historically no you won’t be affected. The delays in texts is probably just a service issue with your provider.

    @vshek @Jeremy_Kirk @VicRoads Wow that’s bad for those that are in Vic and have had their details compromised with Optus, they can’t do anything until someones allegedly already stolen their identity and committing fraud .
