@NBN_Australia An update: called @Optus who transferred us to @NBN_Australia who then told us that there is an outage in the Sandy Bay (Tasmania) area and that the internet would be on in 4 hours (9pm last night). 9pm has been and gone. Standard troubleshooting, eg reboot hardware, etc & nada!

@Optus @NBN_Australia Currently on hold to Optus & online chat. We’ve been told the relocation request we put in doesn’t exist, even though it is in multiple chat threads with Optus who said they’d arrange this. They recognised that our service was previously working, just not with the speed boost WTF

Trying to figure out how @Telstra omitted to direct debit my NBN bill for 6 months and now expect me to pay $500 in one month after a mistake that wasn't mine. Got a text stating they will cut my service. Should have stayed with Optus, never happened with them.

@decryption Tip: set yourself a calendar reminder for the Optus 365 day expiry date. If you have any data left, it rolls over if you renew before expiry. Optus won’t remind you. I’ve had this argument with them about their rubbish service for 1 year customers.

@rick_rampal @Glenina57 @ajEdenvalley1 Moose uses the FULL Optus network ,ALDImobile uses PART of Telstra’s 4G and 3G mobile network. Moose is better sorry.

@Optus , great work with your upgrade to the tower at Bolgart 6568. Since completed, service has dropped out everyday for several hours. Thank christ Starlink will be available later this year because you guys are too unreliable.

@parisvelvet Yeah 100%! Telstra can definitely be a pain to deal with so if you’ve never had issues with Optus you might as well stay with what works. For comparison, I pay $55 a month for 40gb, unlimited everything else on Telstra. But that’s just the plan, I already owned the phone.
