@Optus @NBN_Australia Currently on hold to Optus & online chat. We’ve been told the relocation request we put in doesn’t exist, even though it is in multiple chat threads with Optus who said they’d arrange this. They recognised that our service was previously working, just not with the speed boost WTF

Well I think I'll be staying with Telstra after all, after the garbage customer service I've received from @Optus this week. #notimpressed As a customer service rep myself, I know the value of good service. That ain't it, chief.

@NBN_Australia An update: called @Optus who transferred us to @NBN_Australia who then told us that there is an outage in the Sandy Bay (Tasmania) area and that the internet would be on in 4 hours (9pm last night). 9pm has been and gone. Standard troubleshooting, eg reboot hardware, etc & nada!

federal minister 4 communications should as a matter of urgency legislate businesses must destroy all private details of former customers now & these details be destroyed 3 months after a person ceases to be a customer to minimise damage if computers breached after Optus incident

...a period of weeks. @optus internal processes and systems were completely dysfunctional. I had to leave them after 20 years as a customer; they were doing my head in. Not the company they once were. Very disappointing. Avoid @Optus like the plague.

@AndrewBGreene @Optus @ASDGovAu And when did it happen? Our internet was offline for a couple of days this week, and magically restored itself without any notification from Optus. NBN box was working fine, it seemed like an Optus related issue, but no one knew anything about it.

@Optus Great to see optus have NOT informed customers directly that optus piss poor security has been breached, nor informing their customers they MAY have been one of the estimated 9 million customers affected by the breach. What if I have not been listening/watching the news?
