@Optus @NBN_Australia Currently on hold to Optus & online chat. We’ve been told the relocation request we put in doesn’t exist, even though it is in multiple chat threads with Optus who said they’d arrange this. They recognised that our service was previously working, just not with the speed boost WTF

@NBN_Australia An update: called @Optus who transferred us to @NBN_Australia who then told us that there is an outage in the Sandy Bay (Tasmania) area and that the internet would be on in 4 hours (9pm last night). 9pm has been and gone. Standard troubleshooting, eg reboot hardware, etc & nada!

@macsween_prue @Optus That govt (taxpayers) are being asked to fund the costs to customers is an outrage The issues at Optus where as a result of their own making off the back of concessions it is reported made by the previous govt minister in relation to cyber security

@RowdyAndTed There really isn't any point if card numbers weren't stolen. Like none at all. The public are being treated like they're stupid by the NSW government. It's really frustrating. Optus shouldn't pay for this, it endorses a false sense of security and is a total waste of plastic.

@CarolineQuasar The data is likely stored off shore as well ... Optus is HQd in Singapore. I refuse to let clubs scan my licence. I sign in manually. There is absolutely no need for them to capture a full dl. Sight the licence to view the address - nothing more.

@Preetsblog @TroyStolz The Optus breach just amplifies a bigger problem. We have barely any support for victims of identity fraud. The process for recovery of IDs is convoluted and difficult to navigate. It also isn't preventative, just reactionary once fraud happens. Hang in there, it'll get better

@Optus Great customer service by cutting off my service, days after allowing the internet access to my personal data. Hours trying to get through to someone, I'm then advised the team responsible won't be in till Tuesday. Are you still expecting me 2 pay this months bill? #Optus

@Optus your support is a disgrace. I have been called the wrong name, get generic responses and my issues fails to be addressed. Been on the chat for over 2.5 hours. Can be over 30mins between responses and changes people dealing with it.

@MStoove @Optus They will be trying to look like they're in control amd in contact with us individually but, have you ever called Optus before..wait time..they never have enough staff. There are millions of us with breached info.
