    @Optus @NBN_Australia Currently on hold to Optus & online chat. We’ve been told the relocation request we put in doesn’t exist, even though it is in multiple chat threads with Optus who said they’d arrange this. They recognised that our service was previously working, just not with the speed boost WTF

    @NBN_Australia An update: called @Optus who transferred us to @NBN_Australia who then told us that there is an outage in the Sandy Bay (Tasmania) area and that the internet would be on in 4 hours (9pm last night). 9pm has been and gone. Standard troubleshooting, eg reboot hardware, etc & nada!

    Well I think I'll be staying with Telstra after all, after the garbage customer service I've received from @Optus this week. #notimpressed As a customer service rep myself, I know the value of good service. That ain't it, chief.

    @Biggestred47 Melbourne aren't really that good though. They're okay, but they were overrated coming into this season. The planets aligned for them last year, and their best performances were in Perth at Optus Stadium. There is a large gap between the best players in their team, and the worst.

    I suspect the prepaid dumb phones can't be unlocked partly because the single ones Optus and Telstra offer... are the same phone (an Alcatel one, built by TCL now). It's hard enough to get demand for 4G feature phones, and older 3G ones will be useless on one network in 2 years.

    @Optus could you please not send receipts via SMS to my smartphone at 11pm. Most people are asleep then and it is really, really rude. As a communication rule, I won’t contact anyone after 8.30pm at night.

    @xOneOfTheFew @Optus Hey, not yet. They have messaged me saying there are numerous devices that are having problems and are looking into it. Hopefully they make a tweet informing people not to sign up if they hope for 1080p streams, and offer compensation for those that already have.

    @Optus Sarah, customers should not have to DM you for a list of supported devices. This should be publicly visible with any media that goes out stating the 1080p support is restricted. Secondly, testing via another internet connection is not a solution, you must understand this.
