Optus Issues Reports Near Jordan Springs, State of New South Wales

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Jordan Springs and nearby locations:

  • willbrownsydney Will (@willbrownsydney) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus home Internet knocked out by storm. Customer service recommended I call into an Optus store & get a dongle. Great solution, I thought. Charging me $99 to get a service I'm already paying for is not. #RipOff

  • Costaki__ Costaki (@Costaki__) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Optus Sport now getting the J-League rights. Must say I hated Optus Sports when it began as it was issue after issue but now they are fantastic and just keep improving year on year.

  • Tegan_Writes 𝚃𝚎𝚐𝚊𝚗 𝙹𝚘𝚗𝚎𝚜 (@Tegan_Writes) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@tweet_Krishan Yeah agreed. I wrote about Optus in particular for that last year when the whole not working indoors thing wasn’t disclosed in a easy or accessible way for customers

  • bfgleb PaulieB (@bfgleb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Another brilliant @Optus customer service experience. New phone delivered with 22 minutes notice to my home address whilst I was at work. Redirected by courier to @AustraliaPOS office who won't release the package as it's been air locked by @Optus. A Thread

  • andrew_chang andrew_chang (@andrew_chang) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@optus my service tech who was supposed to arrive between 1-5pm today has not turned up. I took the afternoon off work to wait for them, but they haven’t arrived. This is the 3rd time they have failed to arrive.

  • NickBurrough Nick Burrough (@NickBurrough) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus Your website says “Reduced Service”. Technically I guess no service could be described as no service!

  • arafattehsin Arafat Tehsin (@arafattehsin) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@simone_au @Optus Telco customer services are joke here. Once I reported the similar issue to @VictorDominello's team about this and they straight away transferred my query to the Minister of Comm, Cyber Safety and Arts and I never heard back. 👏

  • TwoHalves45 Will G (@TwoHalves45) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@BJssoR @bigmig81 I’d love to see all football head to Optus in time. Their coverage is 2nd to none. And their stocks continue to rise. Unlike Fox who have been ripping us dry with ridiculous subscriptions for many years. Well had as I will never subscribe again.

  • jamesgmeme remember sydney (@jamesgmeme) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

One slight gust of wind and the entire Optus network is again knocked out. Amazing. #optus @Optus @OptusNewsRoom #sydney

  • alanwedesweiler Alan Wedesweiler (@alanwedesweiler) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus Thanks for the message Jono. But I find it quite strange that a company whose net worth in 2019 rose 13 per cent to $S3.9 billion can’t or won’t tell me when a $1500ish phone is arriving and takes over 14 days to “understand” an incident.

  • Two_Of_Us_x Ali 🌻 (@Two_Of_Us_x) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Optus NBN sucks. The technician didn’t show up today and I’ve had no internet for 2 days. Last time this happened I had no internet for 2 months! @Optus 😡 not happy.

  • Two_Of_Us_x Ali 🌻 (@Two_Of_Us_x) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Soo my @Optus NBN is still not fixed. Everytime I call the help line they tell me the same things over and over. I’ve had to cancel appointments to wait for the technicians they supposedly booked. But none show. I’m so over this bullshit. It shouldn’t take a week to fix!!

  • Yrgodsnt4me Josh Askew (@Yrgodsnt4me) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus 3 bars 4g in sydney cbd and cant load a thing on my ipad . I don’t actually think its possible for your service to be any worse

  • bigyahu alan “Ally Of The Oppressive Matriarchy” jones* (@bigyahu) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@simonwaight @Telstra @Optus This is a business account which apparently by law they have to issue a monthly paper statement for. Part of me wants to let them keep sending me paper statements for years. But environment says no.

  • piersg የጎቿዪነ ኗዐዐዕዘቿሠ (@piersg) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@optus NBN seems down in 2044, and 4G is pretty slow (and yr status page is slower still)

  • NickBurrough Nick Burrough (@NickBurrough) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus Sarah, the last message was from Optus. So you do not know internally what is broken

  • gwynne007 Adam Gwynne (@gwynne007) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@JamiePandaram @dailytelegraph @ALeague @Foxtel Not the end of Rugby of course. Doubt Optus can give enough money to keep SANZAR happy. RA and states go bankrupt, clubs establish new governing body. Our best players thus go overseas, money pours back down into club rugby to the point best remaining players earn a living wage.

  • Two_Of_Us_x Ali 🌻 (@Two_Of_Us_x) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

OPTUS your costumer Service team keep giving me the same answers but none of them include FIXING MY INTERNET!!! 😡😡

  • AzzyChill Azzy Less Than Chilled (@AzzyChill) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Great, my @Optus network just cut out now only HSDPA works

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@davidcrisp666 @NewtonMark @NBN_Australia Optus didn't give a shit once they realised they were being paid by NBN for it. NBN stopped caring once they realised the POS the Optus network that they'd bought was. The surprise when they "found out" about the state of the Optus network was laughable.

FBI Helping Australian Authorities Investigate Massive Optus Data Breach: Reports. Initial reports suggest a basic security error allowed the attacker to access the company's live customer database via an unauthenticated API. #SpywareSpeaks

  • nick_komo Niko (@nick_komo) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@MrXBob @Matt92644813 @9NewsMelb Hmm i would of thought CEOs on the big bucks had some influence into important decisions. Anyway you are getting a bit too aggressive for a non optus customer. So move on 🙋 #OptusHack

  • skeptighoul Corpus Kristin 🧟‍♀️ (@skeptighoul) reported

I haven't been an Optus customer for... 10 years maybe? And I just got the "as a former customer, your personal information has been stolen" email from them 😑

  • mark_r_asser Mark Asser (@mark_r_asser) reported

The only things Optus had that could have been leaked were my name (you've all got that) and my date of birth. Not enough to do me any harm. So I'm safe, but only by pure chance. **** Optus anyway. So many reason I'm an ex-customer.

  • MazInMelb Maz In Melbourne (@MazInMelb) reported

@BreakfastNews The problem with this advice from the cyber security expert is that #Optus CANNOT tell you exactly which of your personal ID details have been taken. i have to assume that my license AND Medicare number have been taken as they can't tell me. 😡

  • joelpmichael 🦠 The Plague Excreter 🦠 (@joelpmichael) reported

@RossFloate Any bets on how hard Optus will argue if a reimbursement is actually required, per-customer?

  • bentsolutionsau B.Tolputt (@bentsolutionsau) reported

@scottjla @ripcripz @jasonjordan The fact Optus should never have allowed the API to be accessible via a raw enumerated contact I'd in the first place doesn't negate the fact that using the API in an unauthorized fashion was hacking.

  • RErbium ruthenium 🌿 (@RErbium) reported

@josianne_den @Jeremy_Kirk @Globalbiosec I would just presume it if you’re an Optus customer.

  • tallerdesign Taller Design (@tallerdesign) reported

@mjrowland68 @BreakfastNews How does an Optus customer get notified if they are one of the 10,000 customers info leaked?

@SenPaterson @Birmo NO Optus caused the problem, Optus should pay for the passports. Don't forget your mob left a Trillion dollar debt
