  • corruptagenda David, ICAC Now ✳️✳️✳️✳️ (@corruptagenda) reported

    @optus and their call centres prove that they don’t provide customers with a service. It is now a mission of mine to by pass Bangladesh and the Phillipines and insist on speaking with someone here in Australia via telecommunications ombudsman #auspol

  • teresa_62 Teresa (@teresa_62) reported

    @Optus I had trouble with my emails the day before the #cyberattack. Taking so long to open them. Then it was ok. Last night I had the same issue. Could that mean another one has happened. What are we supposed to do? Do we have to change our credit cards? No one has told us.

  • RationalPeter 💡Rational Peter 🌏 (@RationalPeter) reported

    @redruby17 @Optus As a customer I am concerned my mobile number could be ported

  • sanguinocorpus thebradthomas (@sanguinocorpus) reported

    @BecL87 @Optus Huge fail.

  • AlexHolderDev Alex Holder (@AlexHolderDev) reported

    @Jeremy_Kirk I can generate data from the Optus customer-logged-in endpoint and see that converting my phone number to SHA-256 matches the "hashedPhone" value. Same for the unlucky customer records leaked so far. And worse still: the actual ID doc values weren't hashed at all.

  • ShortInterlude2 ShortInterlude2 (@ShortInterlude2) reported

    @blackops_spy @berniepeoples Optus were always suspect to me. It was all about the profits never safeguarding their clients.

  • lilredcat Cat May (@lilredcat) reported

    So @Optus which clients have had their data leaked? Very poor communication from the company and to think you wanted by direct debits details to review my plan #databreach #npp #DataSecurity

  • glacestation Wade (@glacestation) reported

    Haven’t received an email from @Optus since Sep 15th. Have I been affected by the data breach? Probably. Will Optus inform me? Most likely not. Jesus Christ, what a piss poor response to an easily avoidable situation.

  • tezzr44 Tezzr44 (@tezzr44) reported

    @ClareONeilMP The PM of Singapore health records where hacked and given to the media. The same Singapore state owned company is Optus in Australia. Massive fail on security again. Optus need to be fined for a huge amount of money somewhere between 9 & 11 million Australians privacy breached
