@minoguevinyl @Optus okay that makes me feel better because the scam texts have started looking so legit, and a week?! 😭 you poor thing lmfao

  • OllieFate □□□□□ (@OllieFate) reported

Hey, @Optus, the very least you could do after exposing all my ******* personal details, is waive my bill for a month.. but that could be too hard, right? Like protecting customer privacy.. #OptusHack #OptusDataBreach

  • WeTheVoters2013 Observer 🔎 of all matters topical 🕵️🇦🇺🌏 (@WeTheVoters2013) reported

@grbradbury That would mean legislative requirements being amended and there is a very strong chance this will happen. Optus were required (by law) to retain the information.......BUT the information should have been kept secure; this is Optus' problem.

  • kylefraser1 Kyle (@kylefraser1) reported

@JennaPrice The freedom to choose whether I have to carry technology on me at all times. Imagine being compliant and accepting to being tracked 24-7 when we just saw optus get hacked so easily. Imagine what that kind of information could do in the wrong hands. Hopefully it never does.

  • aclownreborn Ivan (@aclownreborn) reported

@journeyofdays @Optus I just looked it up... depending on which state you are in, here in SA it's free if you can prove you are an optus customer... other states you will be reimbursed from Optus at a later date...

  • Anneticipation Anne (@Anneticipation) reported

Thx @Optus sending me sms this afternoon that my license details have been released in data breach. I look forward to hearing what else has been exposed. Thx for 59 minute wait to hear via chat bot yesterday that Optus cannot confirm customer data released

  • Anneticipation Anne (@Anneticipation) reported

@stephenbatesmp Wondering what is being done about Optus? Their service to customers is unsatisfactory. Optus is not really providing any service to customers relating to data breach.

  • DavidGallard2 David Gallard (@DavidGallard2) reported

@ClareONeilMP @billshortenmp Optus advertises it acted quickly to shut down the cyberattack - if it was so quick why were 10,000,000 records affected?

  • seearjay 💧Chris Johnson (@seearjay) reported

@SimonCopland @Optus Same message I received just 5 minutes ago. Depressing stuff. A real suck-it-up signal if ever there was one. #optus

  • minoguevinyl sol (@minoguevinyl) reported

@doritification @Optus legit a week 😭😭 yeah the scam texts are insane. i can’t believe the ones people are getting being like ‘mum i’m stuck at the shops and my phone broke i need money’ like the amount of unknowing people who will probably be fooled by that 💀 so terrible
