Hey ahh @optus wtf ay, I expect compensation if this is how you plan to handle my data. Also when do you suppose you’ll contact customers and let us know our information has been hacked and we’re at risk of identity fraud, theft etc..

@SuDharmapala There's one for Optus as well, which has been around a while (surprise!) called "Optus Sucks".

@recneps51 @Optus I found the Telecommunications Ombudsman very effective when I had problems with Telstra which they just didn't fix. One call to the TO and problem fixed in a day. Give them a try.

@DrKate_Miller @Optus The irony is that whenever I’ve wanted to check my account info and usage, I’ve found it very difficult and usually had to reset my password. So the security for their customer interface was very high……

I've been meaning for a while to downgrade my mobile plan since I barely use any of my GBs. The @Optus website tells me to message them, but the messaging app doesn't work. I guess they've got a bit on?

@ZiptieZoe @NinetyF85719218 @agarner No. Not in my experience. Good companies and I mean Blue Chip follow process and procedure because they know the damage it can cause. Like this debacle from Optus. The Management from the top down needs to be replaced and introduce a new work ethic.

@CarolynJanson @KoparaFallsKid Unless you’ve been a customer with Optus historically no you won’t be affected. The delays in texts is probably just a service issue with your provider.

@ianbfarquhar Even worse. I’m a former #optus customer - left them a few years ago - and I’ve just been informed that my data (including ID documents) was compromised. Why did they keep my data?

@LysticsAFL @VicRoads Honestly I'd even be prepared to pay for this service for this peace of mind (though really Optus should be fitting the bill)
