One trusts that the Optus security breach of drivers licences & govt cards ; Medicare etc is paid for by Optus & not us taxpayers as State govt`s now issuing new licences & maybe Feds also have to issue new cards Banks will sue for new card costs #auspol

Hey @amaysimAU, you use the @optus network. Are your customers affected by the breach? We've heard nothing from you and there's no info on your website. #optusbreach @Jeremy_Kirk

@RichardKGrump @TPG_Telecom Have been with Amaysim for mobile phone for eight years with no problems at all. Looking to move from Optus for internet. Have been poor for many years. The nightmare of changing email address has kept us welded on. Unlike some others, Optus does not provide email-only service.

@RonniSalt @Optus It should all be part of a breach response/management plan that gets that gets practiced and role-plays, much like a fire drill. Part of the problem is that there's an attitude of 'it won't happen to us'. A GDPR-like policy with huge fines would go a long way to helping that

Optus needs to pay the cost to replace the drivers licence, passports and administrative cost to replace Medicare cards for everyone affected by this breach. Infact they should pay all the overtime and labour as its going to stress out a public service sector thats struggling
