alli 🍂👑🔎 tøp 19/11/24 (@kitswhiteshirts) reportedinteresting how i was with telstra during the 2 optus outages and now im with optus there was a telstra outage
-
B-Rad 🍉🔴🦢🐶 (@ImOneWithTheKop) reported@footyindustryAU Granted for those states. AO and Optus were well executed. That Tassie will cost more than either for a stadium less than half the capacity pisses me off (I'm aware of all the supply side problems). Whilst Brisbane Roar is being fkd around by Suncorp having the busiest schedule.
-
Satoshi Goy (@satoshigoy) reportedThe fact that the emergency AusAlert didn’t reach Optus customers who had no Optus coverage, despite Telstra towers being available, is absurd. An emergency warning system should use any available network to deliver life-saving alerts—not fail because your own carrier is down. In a disaster, network loyalty shouldn’t determine who gets warned. This needs to be fixed before the next emergency.
-
Thelonlykid (@thelonlykid) reported@Optus @itsallTag So I don’t get I got 5G on my phone when the test came through even though that there is currently an outouge on my closest network tower and I am only receiving 1 bar of 4G because of the outage of that area tower so it doesn’t make sense to me towers also need to be fixed irl
-
Wil Burston (@wilburston) reported@StMaryMacKiller So bad the iPad has an Optus chip and the house has been in Starlink for years
-
Humpy (@sirhumpyAU) reported@TweetTreet @tim_blee That's bullshit, devices EFTPOS and similar devices that run on 4G/5G can use other networks, and a bit of business continuity planning would have a backup network, even for a small business, like running down to Officeworks and buying an OPTUS prepaid SIM.
