@toninicho I am now, seriously, thinking of changing my carrier after years of being with Optus Problem is Telstra cost me a first full money last time I was with them and I dropped Vodaphone over their poor customer service.

@LesStonehouse @Optus There is, I think I remember correctly, a period of up to 48 hours where a new service replicates across a WAN (wide area network).

@egadheg @clothedvillainy Boooo. Yes that's the other downside - phone must support it, and your plan must support it (Telstra support on all postpaid and prepaid plans, Optus is postpaid only as is Vodafone)

@Optus Hi. The people at the store were able to sort it out. They had to change settings through their computer, but it's a bit of a mystery how it happened -- same problem with the SIM even though it was put into a different phone. Thanks for your response!

@agronomybrady @CharlesHazelton @TelstraBcast Hi James, we were using same device. Cost a fortune with sporadic service. Not sure of your coverage but we switched to Optus modem. I think the plan is 500gb for $80/mth.( I’ll have to check).Kids have been on Netflix, multiple devices no problems.

Happy @Optus to take the quid but the help facility on line is abyssmal. Look at the spelling, sentence structure and grammar. Horrendous experience. I'm sure my wife will speak to me when it all settles!
