@toninicho I am now, seriously, thinking of changing my carrier after years of being with Optus Problem is Telstra cost me a first full money last time I was with them and I dropped Vodaphone over their poor customer service.

@LesStonehouse @Optus There is, I think I remember correctly, a period of up to 48 hours where a new service replicates across a WAN (wide area network).

@Optus Is there currently an issue with Business 4G Internet? No internet with the usual "yesbusinessip" APN, but I can get online if I switch to "ltebroadband" (without static IP, of course).

@GladysB Unbelievable that @Optus would knowingly appoint someone to a senior position who's public service record is a litany of lies, deceit and quite possibly corruption. I'll be taking my business elsewhere now that GB is on board and would encourage others to consider the same.

@GladysB Hi Gladys. Just wanting to put that “Optus putting their customers first” theory to the test. Could Optus, totally hypothetically, recover a customer’s iPhone data if said iPhone somehow got run over by a tractor in an “unfortunate accident”? Asking for a mutual friend. Thanks.

@GladysB Some of us weren't happy that Optus bought Amaysim's mobile business in 2020. Amaysim had good, competent customer service, wonder long long before Optus abysmal customer service impacts on that.

@GladysB Optus has complained to the ACCC about Telstra and TPG's network sharing deal. Optus argues that the ACCC should stop this deal as it would give Telstra the ability to offer a 5G speed up to 10 times faster than Optus. 10x speeds don’t sound like a backwards step.

@ToMyPirateShip @anna_prole @GladysB Optus is ****. They put me on the credit list AFTER I had paid my bill which stopped my house loan application. It was the only chance I'd had to own my own home 😡 Renter for life now. Optus can go suck a fat one

@faully33 Long history. Keating started Optus to create competition for Telecom Australia (now Telstra), in 87. By 90, Telstra had stopped being the slow benevolent monopoly of the past, and become the arsehole monopolist we hate today.

@georgtamm Hey Georg, we're sorry you're having issues getting your student card! Stop 1 is currently experiencing some intermittent outages with telephone services, but they're working with Optus to get it fixed. In the meantime, I've asked for someone to reach out to you about your card.
