Do not work with @Optus Decided to change number post Hack and used 3 days of the monthly billing cycle and the bastards want to keep the whole month of cash. So much for being a loyal customer who paid months in advance #OptusHack #optusfail #greedybastards

@Optus if a complaint has been lodged and you’ve been given a reference number, just wondering how long it usually takes to be investigated and then contacted?

@abcnews Optus reckons they never leaked my credit card details despite that was the only data they held on my file as a previous customer. I got hacked a few days after the Optus hack. They’re telling lies.

Cyber incident emails count. Medibank, in about a week, with no data taken: two. Optus, in over a month, with 100pts of ID at risk: zero. This is why I'm leaving Optus as soon as my Telstra SIM arrives tomorrow. **** off. #optusbreach #optusfail #OptusDataBreach

@asubjectivemale Thanks for info, have heard good things about Aldi and Belong. My current company uses Optus service but cheaper however Telstra supposed to be better for regional coverage, which is important for me.

@Trixie_Boo @SARussellwords @Optus I'm curious as to who is taking up the Equifax offer ? Is it actually useful ? It doesn't help me at all with needing my passport number unblocked on the DVS as it's my primary ID.

@MortyAUS I'm not an Optus customer and I'm not going to bat for them, but Optus did not "share" her data with the hackers. It was accessed without permission.

@jplonie @GordyPls To be fair, the technology wasn’t the issue at Optus it was the idiots in the chairs. But I don’t condone @jplonie having a license to kill.

Logged a complaint with the ombudsman and @Optus called me 7 days later. The person who called said they can't delete ex-customer data due to a legal requirement... but they didn't know what law. Maybe tax? Drivers licenses and medicare cards are required for tax records?
