@toninicho I am now, seriously, thinking of changing my carrier after years of being with Optus Problem is Telstra cost me a first full money last time I was with them and I dropped Vodaphone over their poor customer service.

@LesStonehouse @Optus There is, I think I remember correctly, a period of up to 48 hours where a new service replicates across a WAN (wide area network).

@Asher_Wolf Question: based on ur exp, is this unusually bad or the avg level of IT and cybersec in Oz? My personal take: from what I've seen, many companies would be exposed to the same kind of blunders, Optus is bad but not much worse than the pack.

@patrickkeneally I am amazed that optus tells me I am going out of prepaid credit after they bounce my last email. Optus how about giving one free last text as good customer service.

@Optus @RunnerSA18 Not aware hackers stealing personal details of 9 million of your old and new customers so how you going to be aware of any harm done to your customers when you failed to inform them yet ? Fraudulent activity is holding onto my details when I'm no longer your customer.
