@LesStonehouse @Optus There is, I think I remember correctly, a period of up to 48 hours where a new service replicates across a WAN (wide area network).

@HansOrph @Optus @NBN_Australia Yikes. That is pitiful. I’d be asking for a technician to come out ASAP so I wasn’t paying for service I wasn’t receiving.

@Optus It doesn't go any further than repositioning the modem suggestion. There is surely a breach in this contract as I have speedtest results that are below 50 Mbps and proof of service disruptions.

@Optus You can't be serious. I'm in Rushcutters Bay and I had never heard coverage issues in this area until I met Optus. Not to mention that the reason I signed up is because you put an offer in my mailbox! Why do you advertise a service that you can't provide? PS Still no internet.
