  • kirsty_wilson Kirsty Wilson (@kirsty_wilson) reported

Hey @NBN_Australia our internet connection (and a neighbour - possibly others) was knocked around 2.30am yesterday due to a large storm. Still not showing as a known outage.

  • CarersAdvocates Carers and Advocates Australia Pty Ltd (@CarersAdvocates) reported

I’m concerned about the NBN in disasters. When there’s a blackout there is no redundancy people are cut off with no phone. The old system drew power from the line. We must fix this. @PMalinauskasMP @joe_szakacs

  • LeonardWass Leonard Wass (@LeonardWass) reported

@betterbushcomms @NBN_Australia @MySkyMesh I've already been in contact with SkyMesh for months. I've shared dozens of emails. They asked me to test 3 times a day for 3 days. Problem still exists. I've given up for my own sanity. I am using a phone hotspot in evenings, because 1.3 mbps doesn't cut it.

@ozwildflower Well it's slow for me because we don't get the nbn...it cuts out across the road from us even though we're just across from hospital. But right in town itself most would be nbn connected I'd think.

@ProfRayWills @iiNet We were with iiNet for 22 years Prof.Ray, but problems after Michael sold out, only got worse. NBN out by lightning, 2 years running, with month long repairs. Ret village of copper. Optus 5G Home in Wanneroo, for 2.5 years now. No complaints. Feel safer with cell towers.

  • dawsman_1 Daniel Dawson (@dawsman_1) reported

@maryycherryy @NBN_Australia Electrician? Usually they send a technician… which is probably what they meant, and a good example of the poor service you are currently experiencing!

  • Jon_Laidler JonnyL (@Jon_Laidler) reported

@iiNet any outages in NSW 2015? Our NBN has been down sine 235am

  • BjWittwer Grumpy Old Man (@BjWittwer) reported

@keepsafe12 @InsidersABC Yes, that would the loading screen because of our frightfully slow NBN, yet again, (no) thanks to Rupert Murdoch. #MurdochRoyalCommission

  • nicolecadet Nicole Cadet (@nicolecadet) reported

Another thunderstorm, another NBN outage. Lightning was pretty close, no doubt caused a power surge that fried something. Cat’s hiding in the bathroom as per usual

  • Lachlan_Mc Lachlan 888 (@Lachlan_Mc) reported

So do you know how the NBN really sucks? and it cost like umpty zillion more dollars that the ruddser told us it would? and it still isn't done? what make you people think they can do any better with power grid upgrades? hopes and prayers?
