@VaperNt @GregHuntMP @Bowenchris NZ broadband makes NBN look like the outdated under performing service it is & cares about their citizens health and well-being Let alone helping their own economy and exports. Need to move. We could have new manufacturing & export with effective regulation #WeVapeWeVote

  • MonkeyMagic88 Nathan Fothergill (@MonkeyMagic88) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra @stoobii Outage site down as well. This is not NBN I think it is Telstra, and let's be honest, probably China again

  • simondarcy89 Simon Darcy (@simondarcy89) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia @TPG_Telecom claiming its fine and @NBN_Australia site claiming its fine however a quick search of the word balaclava and several tweets reporting NBN is down in the area.

  • SimonOMelb Simon Owens (@SimonOMelb) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Hi @TPG_Telecom. We had a minor NBN dropout yesterday, which we resolved with a simple reboot. But we've had no internet for a couple of hours now in Box Hill Nth, Vic. Is there an outage?

  • Tres_Villain Andrew Trevillian (@Tres_Villain) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Looks like the @Telstra issues aren’t over yet. Some sites connecting and others failing on my NBN...

  • KoparaFallsKid 💧Robyn D💦 (@KoparaFallsKid) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Problem 1. What I was using as the TV antenna connection is apparently the NBN plug, so I will have no TV? Getting weird.....

  • morgenstern28 gem (@morgenstern28) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Non working internet for 48 hours I need a technician to visit. Business only help from Telstra is text message exchange. Paying top price for NBN cannot work cannot get a technician to work and online service takes hours with only negative outcomes

  • AngeandBarney AngelaBarney (@AngeandBarney) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia Hi there...who will this number connect me to? Still struggling with Telstra and lacks of resolution.

  • drunkenmadman Headless Centre Forward (@drunkenmadman) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

******’ NBN has fallen ******** over again. Good thing we’re not in like the 21st century digital economy or ******* anything

  • morgenstern28 gem (@morgenstern28) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia Telstra has flagged the fault. I cannot undertake business. Why does it take another 24 to 48 hours for @NBN to fix and no phone numbers from NBN or Telstra to discuss . A 5 G tower is being erected in my street. Will slow service push us off NBN to 5G?

  • mollyfud Phillip Molly Malone (@mollyfud) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@r_riordanmp Pretty dam smart if true! Perhaps if the federal libs hadn't given us #FraudBand and instead given is the real NBN, this wouldn't be an issue!

  • stevepog Steve Pogonowski (@stevepog) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@AlboMP It’s almost like the LNP destroyed the NBN’s potential so they blame its dysfunction for every bad decision over the next 20 years. Stuart Robert spent 30k+ a month on internet and still can’t do his job!

  • morgenstern28 gem (@morgenstern28) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia Spent 48 hours exchanging texts with Telstra. Following advice from private technician connected the NBN box to my laptop. Found ping was good but up and down load speeds were minimal. Telstra then agreed to escalate to NBN but 24 to 48 hour delay. Cannot work without @NBN

  • quietman2010 Quietman (@quietman2010) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra I live inAscot Vale in Victoria . We have arranged numerous appts with Telstra to have our phone line upgraded for the nbn. On every single occasion since April the tech guys never show up. This behaviour is disgraceful !

  • AngeandBarney AngelaBarney (@AngeandBarney) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra REALLY struggling with you guys right now. My husband and I both took half day off work yesterday and patiently waited for NBN to be connected between 12-5...NO ONE came! I was on the text chat from 1.30pm until 10pm...still no resolution!

  • chloemcintyre__ Chloe McIntyre (@chloemcintyre__) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia your technician failed to show up to the first app we booked and waited three weeks for, we’ve just waited another 2 weeks for your technician to fail showing up again? Can you help please???

  • _AmandaGill Amanda (@_AmandaGill) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@rodthegeek @NBN_Australia I experienced the exact same thing. Belong blamed nbn and nbn showing no outage

  • AnastasiosManol Anastasios (Taso) Manolakis 💦💦💦 2 doses AZ (@AnastasiosManol) reported

@PaulFletcherMP #Labor would have delivered 12 millions connections as well in the last 8 years @PaulFletcherMP all you & the @ScottMorrisonMP govt has done in 8 years is to destroyed the #nbn & lie day in day out The cost to maintain the copper network has be 500million per yr #auspol

  • whateverelliott ellie (@whateverelliott) reported

In other news, I’d like to extend a sincere ‘**** you’ to the nbn technician who showed up late, spent an hour ******* around and then left, only for the wifi completely disconnect. Whatever you did made it worse.

  • NolaWallace15 Nola Wallace (@NolaWallace15) reported

@Telstra I’m not making my address public on Twitter . Telstra put us onto NBN and I had huge arguments with them. Telstra would tell us to use mobile. Also along Albany Hwy for 150k near Williams there is no mobile signal even with new phone and aerial. Thousands of cars every day.

  • Jerrrrson Jerrrrson (@Jerrrrson) reported

@CaroDiRusso Much like idea Conroy had with his Telstra deal. Telstra would end PSTN where NBN cable was rolled out. Customers had phones cutover to NBN network making NBN uptake figures look good, all they had was a phone, no internet. Now Albo will supply internet and no means to access it.

  • PeterYoungDairy Peter Young🇦🇺 (@PeterYoungDairy) reported

@iliasofjohn @NBN_Australia @AlboMP We are lucky to still have copper to the home in rural Victoria. They keep saying they need it to be better than what the last bloke said it needed to be but we can’t get the service we had in the 80s via landline and we’ve had wireless drop out for a few days too

  • threatbear_co Hilton (@threatbear_co) reported

@DrCassCross Set your router to connect directly to your hotspot with a route distance of +1 - that way whenever your NBN is down it will automatically route over hotspot

  • Internode Internode (@Internode) reported

@__tim_c Hi Tim! Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear about your connection issues. You'd need to speak to our technical support team to perform a cooperative troubleshooting in order to raise this to NBN and get them to investigate. Are you available for a call today? -John

  • CoxyJindas Chris Cox (@CoxyJindas) reported

So with NBN down, I tried using my mobile as a hotspot. Trouble is, EVERYBODY else in the area is doing the same. So mobile internet is unusable. The downside of working at home

  • kokolopa kokolopa.. PM a systemic, consistent, public liar (@kokolopa) reported

@selga55 Jane is getting well versed in saying black is white or vice versa… Malcolm had an opportunity to do something about the poor communications network (as Howard did with Telstra) but squibbed it relying on dodgy advice about 5G… but NBN execs are still making a fortune

  • BrowntownBrew Cdbrown (@BrowntownBrew) reported

@Cmdr_Pants @PaulFletcherMP They have to overbuild the fttn as the node design doesn't allow fibre upgrades. All new fibre will have to be pulled from further upstream in the network, bypass the node and then out to the properties. The new node, copper and time spent installing them was a total waste #nbn
