@drvyom Don’t do it if you spend your life in virtual meetings. Sold on download speed but very unstable connection and dropouts especially on calls. We just dumped it and went back to NBN.

  • Dlanorx Ron Nelly’s son 👀 🦘➡️🇦🇺 (@Dlanorx) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia Thank you, I take note. But I am aware of scam methods and handle them. It’s the annoyance of the multiple calls, that’s the real problem. I have to let people know, if they don’t leave a message, they won’t get to me. I won’t answer calls from numbers I don’t know.

  • Natski82 ✨ Miss Natski ✨ (@Natski82) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra It's a new service being set up, so that everything is via telstra, because of the nbn, so when the second technician came out, they said it would be connected by Jan 5th. He assumed it would be to coincide with the next bill, but nothing

  • Shuttlecock Brad Stephenson☕️ (@Shuttlecock) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

What's the best wireless internet solution for 24/7 full-time home internet. Building can't get the NBN and current solution is too slow and goes offline WAY too often (now on Day 3 with no net).

  • adam_voigt Adam Voigt 🐯🏆 (@adam_voigt) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Skimming back through my weeks long forced SMS interaction with @Telstra to access the office @NBN_Australia service in paying for I see: * 39 apologies and assurances. * 9 instances of blaming another Telstra department. * 0 commitments to fixing the problem. * no end in sight.

@KitaandMat @paul_jobber23 @JoshO567 In summary, **** Abbott and turnbull for delivering an inferior NBN

  • Dlanorx Arrr Nelly’s son 👀 🦘➡️🇦🇺 (@Dlanorx) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra How do you sort out your problem, when your NBN is not working. Your modem has diverted to mobile which as usual is extremely poor, so no service, but your mobile phone is diverting to wifi. How and who do you contact?

  • MollyROXanne MollyROXanne (@MollyROXanne) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

NBN is out so I’m going to chainsaw some branches of a tree causing gutter damage. I wonder which emergency hospital is closest if I stuff up. #howhardcoulditbe #virginchainsaw

@Telstra we were told we had to switch to nbn before 30/01 so signed up. Guy came yesterday couldn’t finish it due to some issue. said Telstra would be out today to complete - no one has showed and no internet! My wife works from home and needs the internet urgently!! Any advice?

  • adapt20301 Scientists not Bloggers 🌏 🏳️‍🌈 (@adapt20301) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@DaveMilbo Our apartment tower has 2 independent providers that we can get up to 300mbs up & down. Late last year we all had fliers in our mailboxes advertising excitedly that NBN had come to our building! Needless to say the communal bin was full of those fliers...

  • andyyapwh Andy Yap (@andyyapwh) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

It has been 4 days since my NBN service is basically unusable. A subscription at 100mbps running at 0.6mbps. NBN keep saying it is under investigation and produce no positive outcome. I am not surprise all users will start to adopt faster and more reliable 5G. #NBN #TPG

  • NigelRichardson Nigel Richardson (@NigelRichardson) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Serious question - does anyone else have @NBN_Australia dropouts every time it rains ? I don’t think I’m imagining it - it’s almost like my internet stability in my house is based on a barometer. Anyone else got this - or just me ? @TPG_Telecom

  • parrottrees Ben Holley (@parrottrees) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Hey @Optus seems like your 4g is having issues and NBN is down in Croydon area as well.

  • jjjove Pup Fiction (@jjjove) reported

Australia voted in a government that promised they could do a faster, cheaper NBN that would suffice for our needs. in 2020 we needed to quickly build a robust and effective National Quarantine Network (NQN) and they just went...nah..not really our job.

  • CjbBatdorf Crash Bandicoot 🇦🇺 (@CjbBatdorf) reported

@ChampChong This is why im using 5G more than the NBN. It legit sucks *** NBN. Got myself a WiFi 5G pro from telstra just under $500 once off for device and $75 a month for 400GB is not bad. Streaming, youtubing and gaming alot. So much better than nbn. But that is just my opinion.

  • FionaPatton10 Fiona patton_emerging 🐀😈 (@FionaPatton10) reported

@theage Technician who came to fix my NBN in my regional home hasn't been paid for 5 weeks. Said he hopes it doesn't go down again because he won't be able to afford to drive out here next time.

  • Internode Internode (@Internode) reported

@__tim_c Okay. Please monitor the connection further and run speedtests when it slows down so we can include the results to the fault that may need to be raised to NBN in order to help fix this recurring issue. Cheers! -John

  • DeeCee451 DeeCee (@DeeCee451) reported

@YobPtyLtd My point is that if the investment is being made by Snowy Hydro then it wouldn't show up in the Federal Budget. It might show like that loan in your second image to NBN Co. I still think the gas plant is really stupid.

  • simoncos8 Simon Cosgrave (@simoncos8) reported

@NBN_Australia is there an outage in Caulfield South? We have been without nbn internet for an hour or so.

  • NBN_Australia nbn™ Australia (@NBN_Australia) reported

@PeterKlages That's not good to hear, Peter. It's good to see that you've reported this to your service provider. If they haven't been able to get you back online, they would’ve raised a fault with their internal nbn support team so that we can get to the bottom of this for you. (1)

  • Amandat77144062 Amanda Searant (@Amandat77144062) reported

It seems government boffins have an issue with answering 1quest, Do NBN co understand and appreciate these are taxpayers $$? Still waiting for the answer

  • RedJules4 Jules The Red 🐀 (@RedJules4) reported

@David_Bonnici @rwillingham @rachelbaxendale It’s the public service. It’s our **** NBN. It’s the ‘vibe’. It’s like these faux journos complaining about exposure sites not being listed on the DHS website on the split second they are discovered. Actual people have to upload stuff and I’m sure they’re all exhausted. End of.
