@mickjoebill I dunno what to say...we just changed the network cable to a second port on our NBN box as Aussie Broadband told us to and it was an instant change in speed after the router was rebooted 🤷

  • trevorpvas trevorvas (@trevorpvas) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia @Telstra you need to get a tech person to help set us up our patience is at an end

  • trevorpvas trevorvas (@trevorpvas) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra @NBN_Australia WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 2 months to make this work time to fix it or let me out of the contract #desperate

  • BenSorensen1 Ben Sorensen (@BenSorensen1) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Backoff11111 @NBN_Australia As the ads tell you... intent is only slow or a problem if you use it.

  • BenSorensen1 Ben Sorensen (@BenSorensen1) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

I was thinking “The internet is so slow today for some reason.” Then I remembered I’m in Australia. @NBN_Australia #auspol #broadband #stillusingcopper #darkages #50thfastest

  • tardis3 tardis3 (@tardis3) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

I rang @Aussie_BB again today. It has been almost 2 weeks since the failed install. Advised that the @NBN_Australia is still scheduling a repair to the pit issue. Might be several more weeks to wait.

  • davmoro David Morison (@davmoro) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Biggest telecommunications company around and I can’t get to speak over the phone to a @Telstra about a @NBN_Australia connection... **** service!

  • jasonehill Jason Edward Hill (@jasonehill) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia Yep check this every day - never anything planned. Always an outage and then you have to investigate. Not good enough

  • Dlanorx Ron Nelly’s son 👀 🦘➡️🇦🇺 (@Dlanorx) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Askgerbil @DoctorKarl @TurnbullMalcolm Actually the original purchase of the Telstra cable network, was to remove and compensate Telstra as a network, and provide NBN with infrastructure for laying their cables

  • andyjay_81 Andrea Jackson (@andyjay_81) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Cancel @NBN_Australia install through @Telstra (a story in itself) using the app to continue to see out our contract on ADSL but continue to get calls to book another install time. Try calling to resolve and they won’t take my call despite an email telling me to call 😡

  • samcurrie Sam Currie (@samcurrie) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus once again no signal (NBN HFC) in Hampton 3181. The service the last couple of days has been horrendous

  • krysbethmoore Krystin Beth-Moore (@krysbethmoore) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Dear @iiNet I couldn’t be happier to cancel my plan with you, after weeks of waiting and a day off of work taken so I could get my NBN connection set up, I find out that the connection is actually on short fall.

  • mikedoeslife Mike 🧼 (@mikedoeslife) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Life on @optus 4G home wireless. I get 20mbps down on a good day, but at any time, day or night, it can just drop out the butt like this. NBN available in my street from next month, but who knows if it’ll be any good... at least it’ll be FTTC, so that’s something.

  • tomwoodau distant tom (@tomwoodau) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

    @djaw85 @negri_thomas @ClaytonTFord @Optus @NBN_Australia @Telstra Yeah must be an Optus backhaul issue

  • djaw85 Dj (@djaw85) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@tomwoodau @negri_thomas @ClaytonTFord @Optus @NBN_Australia Our next-door neighbour has @Telstra an has had no issues. It’s interesting that the cable/wire issue doesn’t seem to be affecting all providers atm - just @Optus... absolutely poor customer service also

  • tomwoodau distant tom (@tomwoodau) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@negri_thomas @ClaytonTFord Likely to be just Optus' fixed backhaul, no reports of an issue with Telstra I can find, and Optus mobile data working. @Optus please provide more details of this significant outage! (ping @NBN_Australia)

  • TullyFletcher Tully Fletcher (@TullyFletcher) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia your network is garbage. You’ve had outages in our part of Melbourne all day. You told our ISP it was fixed but it isn’t. Good thing there isn’t a global pandemic keeping us at home and entirely dependent on your service for our jobs and lives, or we’d be stuffed.

  • grahamwkidd Graham W Kidd (@grahamwkidd) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

    @PatFromKilsyth @3RRRFM @NBN_Australia Not my issues dude.

  • Le_digital_frog Franck (@Le_digital_frog) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Without @TPG_Telecom and @NBN_Australia connection for the past 48 hours now. No tech updates from NBN at all! Shocking customer experience #Prahran #NBN

  • 1electricdon 💧Don Smith 🐨 (@1electricdon) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia Sorry you still rely on an old copper network so will always struggle to provide what FTTP has the ability to do then you pass service issues back to RSP too many tiers for service to be effective

  • NunyaBiznesNews NunyaBiznessNews (@NunyaBiznesNews) reported

NBN Update @GOPLeader states the blatantly obvious. A spokesman for the GOP said, "They're pulling the same **** @SpeakerRyan did for years." When asked, @SpeakerPelosi responded, "We can't keep ourselves in power, nor corruption in Govt, if the #Republicrats aren't united."

  • ELIKA62334509 ELIKA__ (@ELIKA62334509) reported

Sorry peeps, my internet died. No reasons.. Just died for 45min. And its very unstable now. So ended my stream early. Thanks #nbn or #pentanet ...

  • damn_volatile 🌊🌊🌊VOLATILE🧢💖🏳️‍🌈🌊🌊🌊 (@damn_volatile) reported

@BlizzardCS @NBN_Australia just did a firmware update through my cable nbn/optus network modem which lasted about 30 mins then I got the wow error (WOW51900328) several times so I hope it's not related.

  • EN_E_1 Any (@EN_E_1) reported

Go out to Telstra "nbn" pit, open, is there a black box with NTD or network termination device on it with probably gel coming out of it ? Is the more the 3 wires coming out of it. @Telstra

  • MalcolmMummery Malcolm Mummery (@MalcolmMummery) reported

@Telstra NBN over Foxtel cable in Shenton Park WA. Speedtest shows 40Mb Download but ZERO upload. Been like that all day but Outage checker says no outages in this area. Any clues?

  • mattprouk Matt (@mattprouk) reported

@AndyPPUK Not going to happen. Nothing to reform. The system works if the correct process is followed. Openreach are not your supplier. You are not their customer. In reality, they help out of goodwill and not because of any obligation. No diff to say NBN in Australia (as a comparative).

  • petehanssens Peter Hanssens #BlackLivesMatter (@petehanssens) reported

@boyter @chewxy interesting you say that - I'm paying $120 a month for telstra nbn and have had so many issues recently - I was going to switch to Aussie but they can't do more than 100 in my area for some HFC related issues - tempted to make the switch regardless by the sounds of things

  • frfarkya farkya (@frfarkya) reported

@jasnnyn so annoying i hate aussie wifi, it's always been bad. nothing changed with nbn

  • Huw_Merlin Huw Merlin (@Huw_Merlin) reported

So the NBN is finished! Nuh. 22,000 properties to go. But if the nation gets back to growing, NBN growth shouldn't stop. Also, prices should by $40 for the two top services. So 100 should be $60. 50 should be $30. Better suites the quality of service. It'll still 30 bill profit

  • dgstones Darren Stones (@dgstones) reported

Unable to download Malcolm Turnbull’s book due to NBN issues. #qanda
