I wont be sitting on hold for 45 minutes and speaking to someone in Malaysia about problems in Australia that won't get looked at. This whole street has copped it.   @vertikar @NBN_Australia @Telstra Yeah, 4G. No 5G coverage in this part of Melbourne. I wish I didn't have to use a SIM from another telco to get 20+ Mbps. Telstra 4G backup is about 0.16 Mbps down with a Smart Modem. We just tether phones during work hours for video calls or sharing would be too slow.

  @taipan168 And Telstra only faces minimum service guarantees in a very small component of the business where they continue to hold assets that used to be owned by the government. That's shrinking over time as the NBN buys out the copper.

  @vertikar @NBN_Australia @Telstra I received an SMS later to expect 4 days of no internet. 💀 I've got a backup service running at full speed through another telco. Best not to put all our eggs in one basket if nbn HFC and Telstra mobile are both unusable while WFH. 🥵 Fortunate that there's overlapping coverage.

  Home internet is down, BUT, according to Australia's "Lightning Fast" NBN... There IS no outage... Yeahhhhhhh.... The "Not Online" indicator light says otherwise. Optus are now "confirming" there's a problem... 🙄

  @AGLEnergy internet has been down for 14+ hours. HFC NBN, hard-wired setup, two known-working routers tested, cables changed, NBN box reset. Router sends PPPoE PADI but gets no PADO, so this is failing before login/auth. Please stop looping basic Wi-Fi scripts and escalate to NBN

  @Celicagirl6 @johncurtin @VodafoneAU Thank you 🙏 Hope you also got connectivity back. My nbn was working. I was thinking of cancelling it & sticking with VodaFail coz nbn is too expensive. Thank God i didnt cancel it. I would have been left with no way to even verify if the problem was with my phone or VodaFail

  @NicFromOz They use Telstra wholesale network, coverage shouldn’t change from what you have now, 4G, no 5G, I have used them, changed to Superloop though, tied in with NBN plan for bundle discount.

Massive changes like this can only get over the line if the solution is obvious & unanimous. Even then one single government can **** things up eg NBN
