@Red_and_Blue26 You might live to rue going to Optus. They have not purchased adequate broadband & the NBN highlights that. 10 weeks with no solution - hello Telstra, bye bye Optus. Not one second of regret, we have not dropped out once in over 3 months with T.

  • msg621 Mark G (@msg621) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

still no internet - how long do I have to wait for @Optus to sort it’s operation out. After feeling pushed to switch to nbn within a few months rather than the allowed 18 months, a stuff up with connection dates and now no internet. Rubbish effort Optus. Truly awful

  • leo_cadle 💧 Makin' a Mess #ARRF 🇦🇺 (@leo_cadle) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

So mad, Telstra/NBN just disconnected me with not a single email or call, because they want me to move my cable service to nbn, to get the same plan would cost me $60 a month extra, and it will take 10 business days

  • dhiren_adatia Dhiren Adatia (@dhiren_adatia) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@DeadlineDavis @matt_b_harvey @BTSFanDad @TPG_Telecom Yeah man. He said on phone whole melb has NBN issues. Seems like it from everyones post. May take 24 hours. I hope not!!

  • trainspotter67 Drew James. 加油 (@trainspotter67) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Hey @Telstra 17 dropouts of the NBN in 24 days since connected. Seems to go out for 2 hours at a time. Usually middayish. Not great when trying to work. This is not a service, it’s just a pain.

  • __medwards MTE (@__medwards) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

    Stupid NBN 🙄

  • trainspotter67 Drew James. 加油 (@trainspotter67) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

All I want from @Telstra is a working nbn service. Just please.

  • aussiegeek {:ok, Alan} (@aussiegeek) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Ha I’m having an unscheduled nbn outage at home… because of a scheduled power outage

  • mikjcal Mick (@mikjcal) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@colin_aus @BeauGiles @Aussie_BB I vote for Aussie BB too... yes call centres are in Gippsland in country Victoria... Personally I’m with Vodafone NBN who are great, but if you want top service then Aussie BB is the way to go. My friends who are with them rave about them.

  • IAmPaulHarrison Dr Paul Harrison (@IAmPaulHarrison) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Although my understanding is that’s it’s an NBN outage, not a @VodafoneAU outage. So there’s not a lot they can do other than tell me there’s an outage. Which they did. Now back to my original request...

  • gtvone Simon Pollock (@gtvone) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia I did, but I’m the two months I had left at the address, it didn’t change - I’m about to move back to that address, so we shall see 👌🏻 (and I’m about to move out of this address so I’m not fussed...) ...but it must be damn frustrating for others 🤯

  • DynamicDusa Dusa Shah (@DynamicDusa) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Thanks @Optus after messing up my address on a NBN order I'm waiting over 3 hours to get through to someone to get the address fixed. Funnily enough they can't see what the problem is!!

  • DeclanJE Declan JE (@DeclanJE) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Love it when my internet cuts out and it the nbn not the Wi-Fi modem so I can't just turn it off and on again to fix it 😒

  • d_benincasa Daniel Benincasa (@d_benincasa) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Improve the NBN, increase competitive price value in the sport streaming service markets

  • warnie1aus 💧Stephen Hetherington (@warnie1aus) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Hey @Optus trying to transfer to nbn on pc but your chat is not working

  • gtvone Simon Pollock (@gtvone) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Call @TPG_Telecom ‘yes your line is stuffed, check your modem!’ ..no no, it was @NBN_Australia ..THEN they tell me ‘we have to escalate to @Telstra sorry, no Fix ETA possible!’ Today of all days... 2 of flipping 2... #homeworker #bitcross #noheadsup #yeahnah

  • MattNoonAU Matt (@MattNoonAU) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia will go down in history as the biggest white elephant of all time. You should have just let me stay on HFC. Adding the NBN to the front of it has turned it into a steaming pile of dogshit. #nbnshitshow

  • damethelog A’tuin Sneezed (@damethelog) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Can someone please explain how @NBN_Australia works. We had perfectly serviceable internet, then a bloke arrives 3 weeks ago and says NBN is going in. But, we don’t need it. Too bad, it’s going in 1/

  • kkayoh_ kay1111- (@kkayoh_) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@senpai_madara dw nbn is the fix bro!!!!!

  • NialFinegan Nial Finegan (@NialFinegan) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@redruby17 Besides the NBN itself look out for really poor Road works, shoddy pavement repairs, ugly/poor cabling installation on buildings. (My NBN is with Telstra “Hybrid Fibre Coaxial” and have no issues with service/speeds)

NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • TimCPalmer Tim Palmer (@TimCPalmer) reported

@NBN_Australia Instead NBN shields itself from end users and any responsibility to them. This arm’s length approach works well for NBN Aus but not for end users who get no detailed explanation of the problem or plan to solve it.

  • BoganGooner Bogan Gooner 🌶 (@BoganGooner) reported

@NBN_Australia I’ve spoken to my provider a million times - the issue is you numpties don’t use fibre to the premises. Useless

  • TimCPalmer Tim Palmer (@TimCPalmer) reported

@NBN_Australia If you are like me the “thing that connects our worlds” is probably not working because it is operated by NBN Australia. If you depend on fiber to node the idea of connected worlds will be sporadic and unreliable at best. Still it’s a nice dream Debbie -maybe 5G will fix it

  • TimCPalmer Tim Palmer (@TimCPalmer) reported

@JTUX11 @NBN_Australia Super comforting Sarah to know we can look up our address to confirm we have no service. In my case in Chatswood 2067 for the 6th time in a week. Now how about a proper fix?

  • TimCPalmer Tim Palmer (@TimCPalmer) reported

@NBN_Australia Your response neatly encapsulates the whole problem Rosemary. Of courseI have contacted my service provider each time (hours spent on hold). That achieves what exactly? What I want is accountable service from the network operator - you- and for the problem to be fixed properly.

  • twitch1979 Jamie Danger (@twitch1979) reported

@NBN_Australia my internet is down, FTTC in Prahran 3181, ISP TPG. TPG have said they there is a fault with the NBN hardware in the street and TPG can’t provide an ETA on when it will be fixed. Please can you help investigate?

  • Klaartu Bill O’Slarty-Bartfast on Kuring-*** land. (@Klaartu) reported

@elee_bella @TooheyMatthew @peri_denton Me too on the Northern Beaches in Sydney. My landline no longer works, the 4G is 1 bar and they are continually doing ‘upgrades’ that close me down for up to 8 hours. Then they say ‘use your mobile for emergencies’. It don’t work!! The NBN is a bloody shambles

  • says_jayjay Jennifer J (@says_jayjay) reported

@tweeter_vee @davidbewart Maybe his WiFi is down? The so called NBN rollout strikes again. #afternoonbriefing

  • BoganGooner Bogan Gooner 🌶 (@BoganGooner) reported

The wifi in Australia is so bad that hotspotting my 4G is allowing me to upload a video to YouTube faster than via the NBN connection Fibre to the node is the dumbest idea of all time

  • minnie736 minnie🪶 (@minnie736) reported

@heyjimmy299 @blardyslartfast For sure .. that damn NBN fibre cable!
