Dr Jacinta Yap (@JacintaYap) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@suziesheehy My brother said heโs never seen one w/ 3 cables but should be the Foxtel one unless itโs a retrofit from prev users & need an adapter to change the connectionโฆ best bet might be NBN tho as your ISP may deflect anyways ๐ค He has a hybrid box at home tho & can check if it helps?

They couldn't gather additional info from the NBN either (Whoโ announced the unscheduled downtime.), which isn't really good news.

After rebooting my router numerous times, they booked a NBN technician to come and have a look. And then I found reset button on my NBN box and it fixed the problem. Iโve since added Optus Technician to my resume.

Best not to put all our eggs in one basket if nbn HFC and Telstra mobile are both unusable while WFH. ๐ฅต Fortunate that there's overlapping coverage.

Ryan Emery (@ryanremery) reportedSo the FTTN service that had been supposedly canceled is now working. @VodafoneAU claimed it was my modem. I'm using that same modem/router connected to the NBN fibre optic. Either it's a miracle or something broken got fixed.

The reason you still hear about it these days having issues is because of LNP screwing it up with a mixed technology approach. FTTP does not have these drawbacks.

I got the building mgt to show me the "gear" in the basement room. The power supply was cold. Checked power board. We flicked a breaker on that was off. Win!

Instead it got rolled out first in Tasmania.
