  • bthomps22 Bruce T (@bthomps22) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia So can I regard this maintenance as essential or is it non-essential but not limited? Optus says it is to get more customers into the network. And you can’t do it overnight or at the weekend?

  • rotbart Tal Rotbart (@rotbart) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Hey Sydney! Is your internet frustratingly slow during lockdown? You can thank the LNP for their ****** version of NBN #LNPdisgrace

  • mektronik mektronik (@mektronik) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@ChristineEwing7 ETS was as terrible as the mining tax nothingburgers, NBN was gutted, NDIS is getting privatised. I'm sorry but none of that stuck because they kept bending over to get it done.

  • takvera John Englart EAM 🌏💦💉 (@takvera) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

  • llament 💧💧 Llewellyn Griffiths (@llament) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus I am an Optus customer. The caller didn't claim to be from Optus. Since I recently received a couple of text messages from Optus regarding NBN maintenance in my area it seemed unlikely that they would be followed by a threat to terminate my connection

  • percivalsmum Karen is double jabbed 💉 💉 (@percivalsmum) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Ok geeks help a dinosaur. I need to choose NBN for home and am considering taking up a streaming service for tv/movies. I’ve narrowed it down to Telstra and Aussie. Can anyone help me make a decision? #NBN

Found a whole lot of my meeting note books from when I was at NBN and yeah, I am pretty sure I was nowhere near as stupid as a lot of the people there tried to make me think I was.

  • benleo_econ Ben Grodeck (@benleo_econ) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@yannikyriacos Due to the below par NBN network we have, that extra fast internet will come in handy.

  • nukekitty cedarpunk 2077 (verx) (@nukekitty) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Might need to start stream even later my internet is hard down right now ;W; It's hard to be consistent with stream times due to the NBN dropping out randomly every day. On the phone to support again

  • DavidMo70005810 David Moore (@DavidMo70005810) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra You just put my nbn bill up. I can’t cancel within contract without a penalty but you can put prices up. When the contract expires you will lose a 20 year customer. Mobile and internet. So long. Never to return

  • penciltotemple1 Em (@penciltotemple1) reported

Hey @Aussie_BB I’m looking to switch from my current provider where I’m currently experiencing constant dropouts and poor service - I don’t currently have nbn but have heard fantastic things about you and would love to learn more

  • mark87nexus James M (@mark87nexus) reported

@TurfAir @MaxLoomes Not just you mate, i guess this how we feel here as well bad weather and rain gets disconnected constantly. Been reaching out with the provider for like a hundred times nothing has been fixed. NBN should fixed the weather in South Australia if they can't fixed there fttn line

  • alexwantscoffee Alex (@alexwantscoffee) reported

@slpng_giants_oz Holy **** They even call out how dumb this is in their last two paragraphs and that it was probably a tiny slip up, but still based on reality What ******** is wrong with people?! In the days of robodebt, sports rorts, car park rorts, NBN destruction - journalists, DO BETTER

  • reverendgrebo Reverend Grebo (@reverendgrebo) reported

@NBN_Australia I rang 3 times this morning around 8am, 1st time, no one picked up after the intro, 2nd time it connected then hung up on me, 3rd time finally got through. Got it sorted but thats some really bad service on the phones. I work in a call centre, so i know how it is.

  • NBN_Australia nbn™ Australia (@NBN_Australia) reported

@jasejdv3 Hi there, apologies for any confusion. There's actually no nbn infrastructure build cost to eligible customers. This is an on-demand model, and eligible customers will just need to place an order with a participating service provider and purchase a higher speed. 1/2

  • billdaviesinoz Bill Davies 💉💉 44yrs RN (@billdaviesinoz) reported

@Scottludlam We tuned in briefly to The Drum, via iView on NBN. In regional NSW, blessed to have xlnt internet. But made semi useless when people we need to v/c with have crap. Sorry you provided a demo of this half baked tech which helps to reinforce ‘Australia the dumb country’.

  • iiNet iiNet (@iiNet) reported

@MrWigglyAU I would recommend confirming with our team what type of NBN service is available at the property. If it is just NBN Wireless, however, then we will be unable to change that, and you would need to speak to NBN directly - Chris

  • MrWigglyAU MrWigglyAU (@MrWigglyAU) reported

@iiNet Hey, if a new NBN customer needs the line and modem installed, how much is installation? my parents live in Tatura, and dont want to go with wireless NBN.

  • agneau_d shish d'agneau (@agneau_d) reported

@Foxtel places a churn out order on an NBN connection which completely disconnects all services from a person’s existing service provider. The person is left without any connection for months during lockdowns. All because he asked about a sport tv package. Sound about right?

  • simon_swain Simon Swain (@simon_swain) reported

@thomasbeagle @DylanReeve It was hard enough telling them I had gigabit fiber and lived an hour away from a major city. My central Sydney ADSL was not much better than a 33k modem <1 meg up, <10 meg down #nbn #fraudband
