@Jane_L_Kennedy @Telstra And of course he believed it, afterall, the people at telstra told him the NBN called. 6 hours they kept him on the phone and ended up costing my dad $19,000. Absolutely ridiculous and when he called telstra, they didn't give a ****. Switched to optus. Safer /3

@Optus 5 days no NBN service and always get a reply from a bot that I will be directed to an expert but the “expert” apparently doesn’t know the answer.
-
Ashker Ali Khan (@ashker_alikhan) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
Tried to join @Optus for mobile and NBN after they offered some “amazing service” and chasing them now for the switch from my previous provider. Taking 4ever and spoke to 4 different sales reps. Still waiting and I’m already tired of their “amazing” service.Any better to offers?

Amanda Valentina💋💉💉➕💉 (@AmandaValentina) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@schmidtyr71 I had NBN call me on Tuesday morning out of the blue. I begged them to come over, which they did. I had one technician, then two spend all day and half the following, fixing the issue. The ISP called me when they were there, telling me they were escalating my matter.

The greatest irony is seeing the outcome of the LNP's substandard NBN delivery in their poor videoconference connections to parliament. #auspol

Shravan Reddy (@baldinuncle) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
What a rubbish broadcasting is this? Probably you need to increase the servers, watching the #Ashes on @kayosports is a pain in the back with buffering issues. I'm on 50MBPS NBN. #KayoSports

Anthony Leach (@ahleach) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@__Rounders__ @mattrfrancis Done that as well. When the Foxtel/NBN bloke came last time he told me I never needed to worry about the aerial socket again. And the aerial cable they provided isn't compatible with the Foxtel box.

Andrew Thackrah (@AndrewThackrah) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
Hi @Optus my @NBN_Australia connection is down and your app is also down meaning I can’t report the fault. Suggestions?

I dunno how I keep coming back to identifying vulnerabilities with telcos. 15yo missing Is Lucknow VIC real? Four'n Twenty made there. Pretty sure Lucknow but Patties says Bairnsdale... East Gippsland website down. Land VIC map doesn't have 161-163 Princes Hwy. Check nbn...

Dr Jacinta Yap (@JacintaYap) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@suziesheehy My brother said he’s never seen one w/ 3 cables but should be the Foxtel one unless it’s a retrofit from prev users & need an adapter to change the connection… best bet might be NBN tho as your ISP may deflect anyways 🤔 He has a hybrid box at home tho & can check if it helps?

Alex Makin (@alexmakin) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@artfulbunny The raspberry pi just monitoring, the Ups is covering router, NBN and the fail over 4g connection.
-
Tim McMahon (@_TimMcMahon) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
I expected nbn to auto complete 161-169 Princes Hwy with either Lucknow or Bairnsdale and to say whether nbn is available. Because telcos need to know customer addresses. I didn't expect nbn to say whether an address has already been connected.

Lawrence Robertson (@lawrence_rob) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
So it’s now 3 months since I started my ‘relocation’ with @Optus who keep pointing to @NBN_Australia and vice-versa. We are broadband ready but not recognised. Surely @kbrspace we can do better to help a loyal customer move to a new home. Asking for help and assistance #Moving

Is anyone in #Reservoir having problems with their #optus #nbn connection?

Shane357 (@Shane3574) reported
@PeteMac007 @ChrisMinnsMP The NBN should not have been for profit in any way, because it was meant to be a foundation for the next big shift forward in Australia. The moving to a digital nation that could boast similar internet infrastructure as Japan and Korea and support more tech industry.
-
Pete Mac (@PeteMac007) reported
@Shane3574 @ChrisMinnsMP But the effect of government on NBN is blindingly obvious, which makes validates my point. Ive seen the disastrous effect of privatising health in the UK. Private sector is incapable of running large scale health! You can chuck in public rail too, although Oz is poor
-
Digital Manifesto: Ellen Cresswell (@ManifestoDigi) reported
I don’t know what’s worse: @NBN_Australia closing complaints the minute they’re opened or @Telstra saying my parents should move to another provider to fix their NBN issues.
-
not again ! ✳✳ (@usaidwot) reported
@maryakate that's not bad for a cheapest, budget NBN @TPG_Telecom should be proud, unless you're on a 50mb/s plan in which case your being dudded
-
Gavin (@GLShootsPhotos) reported
@Telstra_news @TelstraBcast @TelstraEnt your customer service is officially the worst it has ever been. Diabolical. Your attempts to rectify issues with fixed phone lines and NBN are pathetic. The call waiting time to talk to an OFFSHORE person is ridiculous.
-
Pete Mac (@PeteMac007) reported
@Shane3574 @ChrisMinnsMP That was a decision of government and not market decisions. Turnbull probably regrets that decision! Government also stipulated that Telstra/Optus could not build a rival fibre network! NBN is not a good example!
-
Rob (@Country01139408) reported
@NBN_Australia Thanks for your reply but none of that helps me. NBNco failed to build fixed wireless @ Narrabri. Sky muster is a 3rd rate service until it has unlimited data with no conditions like Starlink
-
Kathy Franco (@tweet_frankie) reported
@DanielBleakley Ahh rhey aren’t actually good economic managers… LNP rarely spends on long term vision. The last time they did that was GST and NBN, the latter was a Labor policy they watered down anyway. So many examples of Labor spending on long term, reform-led issues compared to this

Andrew Rollason 🐈🏴☠️ (@rollo75) reported
@philofficer29 @ChrisMinnsMP Govt. owned Telstra announced the National Fibre Optic Network in the 1995 annual statement - to be built by the end of 2002 and for $8bn. Did privatised Telstra deliver the NFON by 2002, and was NBN 2.0 delivered by 2009?
