@DickBranson NBN though moved scope with the election of the libs and then reverted back to scope. That was the blowout there. NDIS has been less of a funding problem than an administration one.

@AaronDodd @jason_om Y'know, I wonder how much a metre that cable is, as I might get them to run a fibre from the house down the street, cheaper than the #NBN! 😎

@rubin_angela @raywilton4 Everyone calling from NBN seems to be a liar & potential rorting thief. Never turn your computer on for lying telemarketers.

@Optus @NBN_Australia If the speed was at least getting above 50 Mbps, I’d attribute it to network congestion. However, 50 Mbps seems to be a hard limit, when I’m paying for 100 Mbps.

@fictillius The way around it is to put a small switch between the NBN Modem and the ISP router. Use their router purely for voice and a second router of your choice for data. It seems 2x devices can sign in with same credentials so will be testing that out.

@Internode The cable is only a year old. However in the time it took to send that tweet, the red light on the modem came on, so I reset it and were away. Odd that I’ve had issues two days in a row. Could it be related to the NBN construction going on.

@thatdavidhooper I am having heartburn from Optus and NBN.Having them out to repair my NBN fault for a third time in a week.Thank goodness I don’t rely on it to work from home. I would be in strife. With pretty much a duopoly on services and monopoly on network, they don’t really strive to please.

@Telstra The first tech support person last week said the congestion would be fixed within 24hours. 4 days later the internet is barely useable during peak times. There’s clearly inadequate CVC or an issue on your network and waiting for an NBN tech before doing anything is waste of time

@CynicalAU @Optus @TPG_Telecom Don’t do it @TPG_Telecom are terrible. At present we haven’t had email access for almost 3 days and they seem in no rush to rectify the issue. Also my NBN installation was an experience I’d prefer to forget. 15 missed appointments and sub-standard speeds
