  • njubi_eric Njubi Ng’ang’a 🇰🇪 (@njubi_eric) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

I moved into #Telstra 7 days ago and I promise you their nbn is the worst. Speeds of 7 mbps is just unheard of. Piece of advice to anyone planning to join Telstra DON’T

  • gregorymckenna Greg McKenna (@gregorymckenna) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@hef_mark I’ve been running off my phone with no problems while kids doing online classes on NBN - no issues at all 👍

  • RoyanWg Billy back in the black n broke HALLELUJAH (@RoyanWg) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@LesStonehouse Nothing about the shit NBN that the LNP/IPA Government has foisted upon the public instead of the world leading broadband it was supposed to be we are left with the inadequate bastardized system that Malcolm Turnbull/Abbott gave us

  • fat_lenny Lenny (@fat_lenny) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@DuhigLisa @NBN_Australia @Telstra I actually love having the business run from hone. Been doing it for years and have a dedicated office. Constant issues with the NBN though really hurt and you are powerless to do anything. Into day 2 of no work, about to head to Telstra.

  • adlrope Adam Rope (reality is stranger than fiction) (@adlrope) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@Qldaah @Telstra David, if have nbn connection then Telstra only service provider. nbn co own & maintain network. Telstra technical support can investigate but if underlying issue is network, nbn co responsible. If nbn co state 'no fault found', then service provider no power coerce nbn action

  • lazytraveldays Lazy Travel Days ✈️ ⛴ 🚘 (@lazytraveldays) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@adamajacoby NBN intentionality shit to benefit Murdoch

  • NigelBill Nigel Mullen (@NigelBill) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@exetel @chuggins9000 @NBN_Australia Thanks Rehan, but it is not an Exetel problem, all my neighbours have the same problem. NBN Co decided not to deluver high speed internet infrastucture to our Adamstown Heights area.

  • NigelBill Nigel Mullen (@NigelBill) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia It is not a fault. It is a NBN design issue. If a house is 1.2km in cable length from a Node, can they expect 80mb or more in connection speed. Very simple yes/no answer is all that is required.

  • DrCraigGedye Craig Gedye (@DrCraigGedye) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@Internode once again our @NBN_Australia connection is out because it has rained. Please fix the physical connection to our house. It is NOT a problem in our house. It is a problem with your ancient corroded copper network. Please repair immediately.

  • wifidownunder Aaron Scott (@wifidownunder) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

Another 12hr outage from @telstra NBN. This is ridiculous. Maybe at some point I’ll have internet again.

  • gjblue Greg Blue (@gjblue) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@JaneCaro @Telstra The whole nbn is a joke, mate who works for them told me ours will never be any good because the copper goes thru a flooded pit at the end of our street.

  • ian_booth Ian Booth (@ian_booth) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

Farrrrrrkk! When Fifield is questioned about the price of #NBN packages the best he can come up with is "they would cost more under Labor". It just rolls off their tongue so easily. "Take longer under Labor ", "cost more under Labor" and they're never questioned. Shits me.

NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
  • lejjel lauren jeffery (@lejjel) reported

@Optus Hi @Optus we still have no solution. NBN down again. My tweets are being deleted. Why should I continue to pay my monthly bill when you can’t provide a service that operates daily each month?

  • charity_edwards Charity Edwards (@charity_edwards) reported

Hi @Telstra someone ordered a new modem & NBN plan on my account without my consent - I have called 3 times already today to find out more but each time sent to your message app, who cannot answer my questions. Very disappointed in the (lack of) service! Who else can I contact??

  • ValueMgmt Richard Ferrers (@ValueMgmt) reported

@PaulFletcherMP @NBN_Australia #nice to see #fttp to 90% of businesses inc a few new regional ones; but would like more transparency on NEW wholesale costs per month, given Enterprise Ethernet is (1) already $0 install plus $800/mth (2) already available to any premise in the fixed line network ...

  • JohnLavis1 John Lavis (@JohnLavis1) reported

@peggymel2001 Either way, we still got a crap NBN!

  • Bondiward Mike Ward (@Bondiward) reported

@davidbewart I would put money on it and get very low odds. Didn't Malcolm then donate 40mil to Murdoch. The NBN was undermined to protect the Foxtel cable network. It's obvious. Who did it for what reason.I'm sure they all deny but the NBN experience and internet speeds speak for themselves

  • TyrendarraBoy 💧Edward Jensz, Proud anti-Fascist socialist (@TyrendarraBoy) reported

@JoshButler Spineless as PM, terrible at NBN, terrible interior decorator, if those drapes are anything to go by, but talks sense when it comes to energy policy & the disaster of fossil fuels as a source of energy in the future when the rest of the world is divesting in fossil fuels.

  • BulewoDudley 💧LizardGuy (@BulewoDudley) reported

@davidbewart Sounds like a perfectly reasonable explanation for why NBN is so ****.

  • sgfeige 💧 Steve Feige (@sgfeige) reported

@davidbewart Well, if not for that reason. Why the hell did he **** up the NBN so much?

  • n_olner MadWorld - MSM=Corporate Media! (@n_olner) reported

Turnbull not worth listening to on climate, he wimped out to save his job. Even worse **** up than his NBN one! #afternoonbriefing #auspol

  • bozwhite Boz (@bozwhite) reported

@AlboMP Never signed upto NBN, due to all the issues with appointments, and the call centre. Whether it be computers are down and we can't record not available on weekends. New cabling required (cable already at house). 1/x
