Mark O’Donnell (@MarkODo56940751) reported from Hobart, Tasmania

@MikeCarlton01 So between Turnbull and Morrison they have delivered the two most costly blunders in a Australian history in the Submarines and the NBN, all from the better money managers wtf

  • ollie_bo
Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, Tasmania

@NBN_Australia An update: called @Optus who transferred us to @NBN_Australia who then told us that there is an outage in the Sandy Bay (Tasmania) area and that the internet would be on in 4 hours (9pm last night). 9pm has been and gone. Standard troubleshooting, eg reboot hardware, etc & nada!

💧Suzanne Cass ☘️☘️🇮🇪 (@suzanne_cass) reported from Hobart, Tasmania

@NickRossTech @NBN_Australia My FTTN is crap. My ADSL was faster.

  • maxitaxi3333
Queen MaxiTaxi #FreeAssange (@maxitaxi3333) reported from Hobart, Tasmania

Exactly, exactly, exactly! If the Labor NBN had gone through, it would be finished by now, NBN FTTP would be there without copper wire problems and, I cannot go on about how bad this decision was. And the cost of FTTP would have been equal to this mess. @TurnbullMalcolm

@OptusSport We'd love to enjoy @OptusSport however our @Optus nbn is down for 24-48 hours 👍

  • ollie_bo
Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, Tasmania

@Optus @NBN_Australia Currently on hold to Optus & online chat. We’ve been told the relocation request we put in doesn’t exist, even though it is in multiple chat threads with Optus who said they’d arrange this. They recognised that our service was previously working, just not with the speed boost WTF

Wow an NBN outage down till Sunday 6th October!!! It's school holidays and teenagers are struggling. Oh books and outside look good @Telstra

  • feelingswell
Robert Gavin (@feelingswell) reported from Hobart, Tasmania

@NBN_Australia @Farmgate138 I like that “experiencing some issues” have had NBN for some years now. We quickly found the baseline service was crap and upgraded to the next level - which is great when it works, but reading the fine print, NBN only warrant it will work for 2mins annually

  • parisba
    Dr Paris Buttfield-Addison 🖋📚 #HeadFirstSwift 🖖 (@parisba) reported from Hobart, Tasmania

@shanselman This is trivial in Australia, as our NBN (“national broadband network”) hardware has 4x ports for that specific purpose. No idea for the USA though... 🙃

  • TasGreg
Greg C (@TasGreg) reported from Hobart, Tasmania

@BevanShields @AntonEnus "But has no modelling to support the claim" Just like Direct Action emission reduction or the cost of ALP NBN or the $660billion ALP debt blowout etc etc #FreePassToBS

  • parisba
    Dr Paris Buttfield-Addison 🖋📚 #HeadFirstSwift 🖖 (@parisba) reported from Hobart, Tasmania

@DrKrissyH Just gotten too slow — and don’t offer the higher tier NBN plans

You're partly right - we don't have a free market. The market here is heavily distorted with gov intervention. Inflation is cause by increased money supply. That inflation affects everyone - including grocery stores, NBN providors, health funds. They must pass those costs down. Fuel is also subject to inflation in addition to the fuel crisis. This impacts input costs for many businesses, not all, to varying degrees. The only thing that causes market wide inflation is Gov.

@australian Err. NBN IS A TAD BIGGER probably 200 billion down the drain. Turnbull and KRudd and government suck

  • Kayeos3
    Kayeos (@Kayeos3) reported

@Davemcl70700812 @lesstenny You didn't listen during her speach or read any policies. Clearly stated that the country wouldn't be affected. Other systems can easily be put in place. Besides, majority of farmers have satellite internet because they didn't receive broadband or the NBN. **** you lie a lot.

  • jfwfreo
    Jonathan Wilson (@jfwfreo) reported

@GamewithDave The only network connected devices I own are my Windows desktop PC, my HMD Pulse+ Android phone, my ISP-provided TP-Link router and my ISP-provided NBN FTTC NCD modem. I refuse to buy any of the "smart" crap.

  • loftwah
    Loftwah (@loftwah) reported

Australia’s biggest fumbles I have seen in my lifetime so far have been missing the boat on nuclear in the 90s (I don’t believe it is worth it today) and the NBN. Anyone who caused their poor outcomes should be strung up for it.

  • GibberCapital
    GibberishCapital (@GibberCapital) reported

@yinshen86 @Larryjamieson_ Are you ignorant to the concept of crown land? Or the fact that Singapore’s government companies are run exactly like private companies? You think the governments that could **** up NBN and Myki should start running mining companies now?

  • biba_nova
Mary Mary Quite Contrary🐭 (@biba_nova) reported

@GATESDK We should really switch, we have no problems up at the property with the Starlink, but the NBN here in the city is pathetic, sick of hot spotting off my phone.

  • HJoyOz
    JoyOz (@HJoyOz) reported

@Ben_Davison1 I paid for my own education and the government never sent me a fully trained employee. The rule of law…. Yes men are women in law. Roads, Rails, NBN (massive cost) gas water bla bla - we pay for that… it didn’t magically appear without our tax funds, we also pay continue to pay for this and budget blowouts. Civil society - do you live in Melbourne?

  • James_M_South
    JimBobSquarePants 🇺🇦 (@James_M_South) reported

@Telstra Your customer service team are disgusting. They mixed up NBN and Optimcomm and not one person answered a single question I asked. Absolutely disgusting. I want to raise a formal complaint.

@TFyrd49376 @TobiSkovron Labor introduced the NDIS, LNP messed with it. Like a long list of things introduced by Labor, the LNP screws with it and we are forced to endure the **** show that follows. NBN? LNP screwed it so hard it cost 3x as much for inferior infrastructure.
