@NBN_Australia oh I'm not eligible, I've checked. even though there's fttp connected properties <100m away from me. but yeah, cool that I only need to wait another year or more before you'll provision me with the service you should've in the first place

@Tayzlor @NBN_Australia The write off was due to LNP trying to reuse the copper. They spent a lot of money redesigning the network, a heap more on new copper, but never replaced the copper that was the costliest part of the network - between home and pillar. They now admit the copper provides no return

@FinancialReview hey ... look at that... I can get nbn speeds on 5g. didn't need a nationwide fibre network... just a bunch of towers here and there

@Tayzlor @NBN_Australia @elonmusk The reason there isn't a return is because #NBN wasted $30B reusing old tech and hiding the fact it was costing $Bs per year to maintain. They now say they didn't realise the high cost and that's why they are moving back to fibre. Fibre is the profitable part of the network

@Tayzlor @NBN_Australia Consumers decided they wanted better speeds and were happy to pay, but LNP's crippled network prevented the consumer getting what they paid so the RSPs were forced refund the users

@NBN_Australia I just want a service provider that can give me decent customer service, decent connection & I'm not on hold repeatedly for nearly an hour. So over the NBN & so called 'service providers'.
