@NBN_Australia It is now a new pit for which we first had to pay $3,500 to get built because our new home was on 1/2 our old home site & we were classed as developers !! (refunded after complaint to Telecommunications Ombudsman.) Have landline & ADSL Internet. Waiting to get back on NBN list

  • DermieTom Tom ruttkay (@DermieTom) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

NBN connected my service yesterday. Today, I have two modems, a wiz bang little NBN box and I CANNOT ACCESS THE INTERNET...and both Telstra and NBN don’t want to know about it and point the finger at each other.I have joined the NBN ***** Community!

  • Michael_60 Michael E (@Michael_60) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@CherylCritchley @joffaboy66 @Honxqp NBN classic example. Original ALP concept was big, futureproof. Then Turnbull got hold of it and slashed it down to the mess we have today

  • markjbhansen Mark Hansen (@markjbhansen) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus NBN Internet has been stuffed all day can’t get any websites fetch not working Netflix list goes on. #optus #nbn #outage

@LouM567 @NBN_Australia No, they’ll just go out and fix the fault. If its NBN’s fault, I’m sure they’ll send them the bill. I work in the industry. Don’t bother wasting your energy picking a fight with NBN. You won’t get anywhere fast.

  • rickspe25304187 💧Rick Spen (@rickspe25304187) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Greg_MarineLab @WgarNews @JEChalmers @SBSNews There are people trying to make ends meet on income support payments. Housing costs are now unaffordable for many of us with the rollout of NBN and Power costs what is going to happen to everyday people who can not afford to eat Why can't we have some of the surplus to buy food

  • Uberstooks Amber (@Uberstooks) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

With most people having to transfer to the awful @NBN_Australia, we should NOT have to pay for the set up costs. We didn’t want this watered down useless service and should not be punished financially. My cable internet even on its bad days shits all over the NBN.

  • millionsofmyles Myles Harris (@millionsofmyles) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@MarekRivers No. You'd have new NBN owned hardware etc if you had. It's not just switching over. It's contesting to an entirely new network and NBNCo provide you hardware to do it.

  • G1NCHY g1nchy 🚽 'd 🦐 🌏 (@G1NCHY) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Sheeds_au 5G - Cabled NBN to residentialwill be a white elephant. The core system might only be used by Service Providers to link back bone systems, and I think Australian tax payers, paid for it. Let's spend money so companies can bill us. #Howgoodisaustralia

  • sharbuendia Shar Buendia (@sharbuendia) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Hi @Optus been trying to get in touch with your agents online via LiveChat. Still having poor NBn connection and can’t really use mobile data for all our accounts. Hope you can help!

  • northonm31 Adam Corcoran (@northonm31) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Hi @Aussie_BB. Aware there was an outage earlier today, however we still have no connection on our devices from our NBN connection via wifi. Have tried powering modem off and on again with no results. Postcode: 3056. Please advise.

  • JarrodWeir JarrodWeir (@JarrodWeir) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

God dammit @Telstra. My cable internet has been down since Friday! Up until tonight, no outage has shown up on the outages site, although that’s NBN and says scheduled maintainance. On top of that, for some reason 4G is running at 2Mbps.

  • ChristineEwing7 Dr Queen Christina (@ChristineEwing7) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@RobCoyte What absolute nonsense! LNP undid or watered down so much of what Labor had achieved in previous govts. Wrecked the #NBN , for starters.

  • Uberstooks Amber (@Uberstooks) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Alcove7 @NBN_Australia Yeah, nah thanks. If they force us to use it, they need to cover those ‘set up’ fees. And we still have the worst internet in the world

  • mikjcal Mick (@mikjcal) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@phazzles I’m going through the same with my parents. Telstra hands down as you get 4G back up so the phone will always work even if an outage happens 👌🏻 Telstra will also do phone only NBN Plans with pensioner discount.

  • AntB77 Ant (@AntB77) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@jendudley Same boat though as you, I get about 120mpbs down in peak on cable. Only my upstream would improve with nbn

  • spudhowley spudgun (@spudhowley) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia ..pretty critical service, without having any say in the matter, is extremely frustrating. We just want our old Cable back.

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@prkaye @NBN_Australia That is "we are ignoring your question in the hope you go away. I can't wait to check with Telstra again to find them say "no, NBN paid us $11b for all the infra, it's their problem."
