  • raywilton4 💧Ray Wilton 💧💦 (@raywilton4) reported from Lennox Head, State of New South Wales

“By next year, the NBN Co has promised to have 8.1 million homes and businesses using the service, with a further 11.7 million ready to connect. However, experts have warned the NBN’s speed and reliability issues will only worsen as more households and businesses connect.”

  • raywilton4 💧Ray Wilton 💧💦 (@raywilton4) reported from Lennox Head, State of New South Wales

“However, Internet Australia chair Paul Brooks slammed the report as “self-serving” & “disingenuous”. “Clearly [the NBN Co] have an image problem they’re trying to repair, and that image problem is justified,” Dr Brooks said. Speedtest ranks Australia 61st for broadband speed”

  • raywilton4 💧Ray Wilton 💧💦 (@raywilton4) reported from Lennox Head, State of New South Wales

“Mr Mullen claimed that the NBN’s high wholesale pricing would force resellers to “withdraw or go broke”, with consumers ultimately losing out. “The downside of this in turn will be fewer service providers and ultimately higher broadband prices to the consumer,” Mr Mullen said.”

  • raywilton4 💧Ray Wilton 💧💦 (@raywilton4) reported from Lennox Head, State of New South Wales

“Labor had spent around $6.5 billion on the NBN when the Coalition took power in 2013, with the government since splashing more than $44 billion of taxpayer funds to create what experts have described as an “obsolete” and “third-world” broadband network.” Arrogant f**king lnp.

@JohnRHewson 5G threat is one of the NBN Co's issues that have prompted additional NBN investment. Lower speed NBN connections are more likely to be displaced by 5G connections. Higher speed NBN services (esp with upgrade) won't be able to be replaced by 5G.

  • sortius sortius (@sortius) reported

@PollOzzie @misskylie77 @abcnews Let's not forget that regional towns also got screwed on the NBN, so it's no job AND **** internet AND expensive groceries AND no access to services. SIGN ME UP!

  • farcanal53 Smokey Dawson (@farcanal53) reported

@Fog_Fegan Merde orcs altright influence is dying like their circulation. Most people are disgusted with Lib corruption. Labor has to cherry pick the winning issues, enlist a crack social media team to swamp and negate the Lib lies, smear & wedge on NBN, jobs, Robodebt, pensions etc

  • spike4169 mark kinnear (@spike4169) reported

@David_Speers And it’s also sad how the media treat Labor. It’s sort of one thing to push Murdoch nonsense and attack sensible policies like the NBN. But to then play the “oh we are nice guys in respecting past Trail Blazers” is fraudulent at best.

  • andydomAU andy (@andydomAU) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Aussie_BB @NBN_Australia Done and the faults been fixed since. Hopefully for good? Because last time there was a ‘it came good and sorted itself’ as an explanation and that’s never a fix.

  • SimonTWolf Fr. Simon T Wolf CLDD (@SimonTWolf) reported

@JohnRHewson Fortunately the #NBN upgrade will be the "mass transit" backbone, neither displaces the other, they compliment, synergistically expanding the total network capacity

  • TonyONe20224348 Tony O'Neill (@TonyONe20224348) reported

@JohnRHewson Me no tecky...me getting 5g... nbn sucks

  • Aussie_BB Aussie Broadband (@Aussie_BB) reported

@andydomAU @NBN_Australia If you haven't contacted our Support team to get this info to NBN I would suggest doing so, either on chat at our website or by calling 1300 880 905 - Paul

  • catedempsey Gillian Dempsey (@catedempsey) reported

@CaroDiRusso Brisbane has crap reception for phones - they regularly drop out. The NBN in Brisbane City is marginally better than Canberra, but it is not virtue to be better than the worst.
