  • Klyde77 Jason King (@Klyde77) reported from Picton, State of New South Wales

What disgraceful service @Telstra. Been in new house for more than 2 weeks. Only 4 days of NBN working. Told they would be here on Saturday between 8am and 12pm. Waited all day and then called Telstra to be told NBN will be back on Wednesday. Disgraceful.

  • iB3nji Ben (@iB3nji) reported from Tahmoor, State of New South Wales

@DifficultNerd @stnapAtnaf Sadly not the case. NBN have confirmed with me that we will never get 50 Mbps due to the distance we are away from the first node. They also didn’t replace the aging copper on the main street and line faults is a regular thing to happen.

  • iB3nji Ben (@iB3nji) reported from Tahmoor, State of New South Wales

@stnapAtnaf @DifficultNerd It’s actually hilarious to see media reports of the NBN struggling. Remote learning/video/working, video streaming, etc, etc is exactly why a proper next-gen network should have been built.

  • martyvis Martin Visser (@martyvis) reported from Yerrinbool, State of New South Wales

@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • martyvis Martin Visser (@martyvis) reported from Yerrinbool, State of New South Wales

Wakey, wakey, rise and shine @NBN_Australia! It's now 21 days since my service went down and today is the 3rd date you have given my retail provider for restoration. ( No updates as of Friday so we assume all systems go).

  • martyvis Martin Visser (@martyvis) reported from Yerrinbool, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia I spoke to my provider, and they have been told by NBN that there is planned remediation but no ETA. I'm just disappointed that today's visit by NBN wasn't planned properly. I've no medical issues relying on the network, just hoping for service to get my work and relaxation done.

@trentyarwood So @NBN_Australia is claiming it's adversely affected by competition from a satellite service that has low 100k customers. I thought they'd be keen to offload traffic from their two big expensive satellites. Maybe they should reflect on their own garbage service model?

  • Orpheus631 Orpheus6 (@Orpheus631) reported

@alexkidman @NBN_Australia Now after 2 years and countless service interruptions including disconnecting them (90’s with medical conditions) NBN said max was 15mbs Then you finally fixed the line and 25 mbs and working well.

  • Orpheus631 Orpheus6 (@Orpheus631) reported

@NBN_Australia The issue with NBN is your customer the ISP has no ability to have a customer focus, I have signed up for. A Very fast 1,000 mbs service but was told over 500 was OK. My regular experience is varied 100,400, 800, 400 you agree to attend you but don’t bother

  • Philkx2 Phil Kalogeras (@Philkx2) reported

@carolduncan @maire19 @NickRossTech Imagine trying to get through the last 2 years without NBN. It's proved it's utility as a vital national infrastructure asset. Ditch the idea of selling it off, and treat it like the national road network and upgrade where needed. All those complex pricing models will disappear.

  • Juliana22071973 Juliana Victoria (@Juliana22071973) reported

@elonmusk Billionaire Elon Musk has reportedly played a significant role in driving up the prices across Australia’s NBN phone and internet network… Starlink technology had reduced the NBN’s viability?… interesting 🤔

  • Chirp19OCE ÇHÎRP19 (@Chirp19OCE) reported

@NBN_Australia yo instead of raising your prices for your internet plans because people like Elon Musk are doing a better job at providing a better internet service you just idk....FIX YOUR INFRASTRUCTURE 🤔

  • seoguyberlin James Doglasse (@seoguyberlin) reported

Australia built a slow NBN, obsolete at launch. Other players entered the market, with better, faster options. The NBN now needs to raise prices, to cover its costs due to exiting users which will cause more to leave. The NLP are to blame, but so are those who voted for them.

  • Lac_Of_Adhesion Lack Of Adhesion (@Lac_Of_Adhesion) reported

@aussiewongm At least you were talking to a human who had some idea and didn't just try to blame NBN and hang up on you after 2 minutes.

  • talejCrypto talej ❄️ (@talejCrypto) reported

@Optus @NBN_Australia INTERNET DOWN MARKET CRASHING NEED INTERNET NOW

  • NickRossTech nickrosstech (@NickRossTech) reported

@PW_Arts @carolduncan The benefits of the National Broadband Network would only have materialised after it was built. But it wasn't. So SkyMuster never really had a chance #nbn #auspol
