  • Qldstew Bat’s (@Qldstew) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@andy_penn $tls is a doomed investment entity! It’s unsustainable to charge a higher price for an inferior product! Telstra’s special skill is to charge twice for the same nbn or phone line or even entertainment AND make it impossible for customers to get any customer assistance!

  • 476a803ed32c438 Peter Ison (@476a803ed32c438) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@Telstra no NBN connection and 4G extremely slow at Banora Point

  • Gary_AE Gary Austin-Eames (@Gary_AE) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra no one ever did get back to me on why the 4g and 5g service is so shite where I live. 3 towers within 2.5km and a dozen within 5km but I still need to use wi-fi calling to guarantee calls getting through. Makes the 4g backup on my nbn modem useless.

  • sacarlin48 🔥 Anne Carlin (@sacarlin48) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@KoparaFallsKid I'm with Aussie Broadband for the NBN. They are based in Victoria. When I call I talk to a person almost immediately, not automation. Since I got set up I've never had to call. If there is an outage coming up or if one is finished they email. It really is excellent service

  • JackieHeg JayemH 😷💉💉💉 (@JackieHeg) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@Narty0071 Just one spot on site where the phone works! No rain so come down to call my daughter and whoo hoo internet working! NBN down, heaven knows when it will be sorted.

  • sacarlin48 💧Anne Carlin (@sacarlin48) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@gurambae I already use my foxtel cable for the internet (but don't have Foxtel) which is why I'm forced to be with Telstra currently. It will be the same with NBN. Nov is the deadline for me. Having problem choosing a provider

  • jomagoo68 Magoo (@jomagoo68) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@rob_tat Labor never built the NBN. They just planned it on the back of a cocktail napkin

  • fifimurray2 fifimurray (@fifimurray2) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@AlboMP Don’t you just love spending “other people’s money” @AlboMP? The trouble is the NBN isn’t “free” at all. Hardworking taxpayers foot the bill for this rubbish. Have some respect for those who pay your salary.

  • Joshlyfry Joshua Lyons (@Joshlyfry) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia No outage detected on your site but TPG have notified that they are conducting emergency work.

  • sweatandiron Andrew Mackey (@sweatandiron) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

The NBN people finally came to get us connected yesterday, the technician said there’s a fault and will be back in a fortnight. There’s much bigger issues now, I literally was faced with 1st world problems- only to realise there’s a humanity problem right now.

  • pkfrancis Paul Francis (@pkfrancis) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

Thoughts on switching to Aussie Broadband? Am with Telstra (on NBN) and the dropouts are ridiculous. Conscious it'll reuse a lot of the same infrastructure but even the customer service has to be better??!

  • ronburgundy767 David Corrigan (@ronburgundy767) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

Hey guys please help why is my fifa 22 team so slow ?? I’m using NBN plus tried ultra fast 5g wireless 250mps / 10 and still forever slow 1.5 -2 second input delay it’s almost unplayable and has ruined my love for this game !! I don’t live in a small town why is it doing this ??

  • sweatandiron Andrew Mackey (@sweatandiron) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@suspectandy Yeah man. NBN is good to go but there’s a connection problem out on the street. So keen you have no idea lol

  • nsantone58 Nino Santone (@nsantone58) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@AndNowItsTime @NBN_Australia I feel your pain. NBN contractors damaged my unit and then redid the installation by laying cable on the garage floor. You're right about lazy, they take easy way irrespective of what it looks like. I've lodged a complaint but wait with baited breath.

  • 75merc Silvester (@75merc) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@THE_Russell Wow. Just when you thought This buffoon Gov. Would never beat Their farcical NBN Catastrophe. $ 80 Billion spend on a system little better than what it replaced? Now Spending double that on Subs that will be obsolete 15 years before they are delivered?

  • supernudistband Super Nudist (@supernudistband) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra Hi - your internet keeps dropping out. I tried calling but apparently you're closed (9:30pm). In postcode 4212. This has been happening for several weeks. Please sort it ******** out. #telstra #nbn #australia #monopoly #***** #goldcoast @NBN_Australia @Foxtel

  • blisspimpama Bombay bliss pimpama (@blisspimpama) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra @NBN_Australia Shitty service provides by technical department those don’t even understand the problem and can’t speak proper #English. On phone for last 2 days and business #NBN still not working. #shame #telstra for superb service and technicians in you shitty team.

  • TangaroaG33K Brad Beadel (@TangaroaG33K) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia It just seemed to be Thursday evening. Friday there hasnt been any problems at all.

  • singaporedavid1 David (@singaporedavid1) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Doc_E_Brown_ @NBN_Australia No. It was to stop the constant downtime with the NBN due to outages and maintenance. The speed of the NBN wasn’t the problem. When you work from home, the NBN isn’t an option unfortunately. Thank god for Starlink.

  • BeachGirlJan JG 🌴⛵🐬🏖🐾🇦🇺 (@BeachGirlJan) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@NotBillbob2 @Telstra Never heard of them. Do they do the NBN?

NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • psg_au Peter (@psg_au) reported

@NBN_Australia My Father had TWO appointments cancelled because the NBN Tech could see the modem from the exchange and no issues. He did both to check if there was any data flowing - There couldn't be, because the Ethernet interface on the modem was "cooked"

  • TPG_Telecom TPG (@TPG_Telecom) reported

@abril_latrene We aplogise for the inconvenience, Abril. We've been advised by NBN Co that corrective action within their network equipment is done and shows that the case has been resolved. We've detected that your service has been restored. Let us know if you need further assistance. -Basil

  • Pabu22 Jackson Pavone (@Pabu22) reported

reminder than NBN cost 51 billion and is still terrible

  • DanSuper73 Daniel Superina (@DanSuper73) reported

@neil_killick @Aussie_BB 1/ Hi mate, I won’t get started on the past few weeks I’ve had. But - ALL of my troubles are related to NBN infra and not the ISP. Flooded Telstra pits, dodgy ‘fixes’ with how they configure the available ports, ‘leaks’ throughout the network. Ugh!

  • psg_au Peter (@psg_au) reported

@NBN_Australia The rest of the time, it is sitting in the exchange, "pinging" modems on the other end of the phone line and discounting, dismissing that the customer knows what he is talking about. I HAVE SEEN THIS PERSONALLY FIRST HAND on at least TWO occasions.

  • psg_au Peter (@psg_au) reported

@NBN_Australia TELSTRA sent their OWN Tech out because even they were afraid any further NBN appointments would be cancelled out of the same "Oh, its working, I can see the modem" Mentality... NBN Wouldn't know what customer service was even if it bit them...

  • maryjo1313 🐀🏅💃 (@maryjo1313) reported

@PaulMeekPerth What about those who cannot afford ****** nbn service, or the impaired, etc etc 🤬

  • gusworldau Angus Kidman (@gusworldau) reported

@jendudley they might be doing the "temporary upgrade" thing via NBN incentives, been quite common in recent months. Alternative: never trust Speedtest. Both may be true.

  • DemocracyIt Democracy is so good Corporations own it (@DemocracyIt) reported

@LucyTurnbull_AO Could it be that copper based injections are really inferior to fibre to the premises type injections, cost more, offer less, help Murdoch, ruin our infrastructure, sell out Australia all to become PM. Oh Covid vaccine, sorry thought you were asking why the NBN is shot=>LNP.

  • dawkins_scott Scott Dawkins (@dawkins_scott) reported

@jendudley unrelated to your NBN promo, but I discovered my parents on the old Optus cable network get 100mbs if they keep using their old cable modem, or it goes down to 50mb if they use their NBN modem. But the NBN modem doubles the up speed!
