    @markhumphries TBH, although I think they delivered a terrible service for the install. at my house, I was happy to only pay $300 for the « actual » connection of my house. (work on the street, weatherproof boxes on the house, etc.). The overall process must have cost NBN more than $300.

    A circuit breaker got tripped that killed everything but the lights and I’ve never been happier to have my critical network infrastructure running on the light circuit, no fighting with NBN handshaking for this guy at 11:30pm 😌

    @Lachlan_Mc That's my issue. Signed up to NBN contract when it (finally) arrived in my area, but now 5G is available it's actually way faster than my broadband. 🙄 Not sure how or who offers a big enough data package to allow streaming on the 5G mobile network. 🤷

    @TPG_Telecom NBN customer and quality of connection and number of dropouts has grown exponentially the past two weeks. Time without connection is now exceeding time connected.

    Help needed from the tech nerds please! If I change my NBN provider due to a better deal, do I need a new modem? Are they "locked" similar to mobile phones? First NBN company included a modem as part of the deal. Can I use it if I change providers? TIA. 🙏

    @Optus have “technical errors” if you are trying to get technical help with NBN. That’s what I was told when transferred to NBN tech help desk, after another ridiculous amount of phone time.

    Morning @2GB, you’ve got app issues again. It keeps cutting out and and one stage we heard Ben ask the Astro guy the same question four times. Now nothing. Our download is 108Mbs and upload 32Mbs, ping 13Ms. Our NBN’s working fine.

    @NBN_Australia My issue it with Aussie broadbands lvl 2 support. It you guys that are dragging the chain and won’t do anything. All because they have started on the other side of town running fibre to the premises.

    @Optus horrible customer experience. After 12 years with optus my simple request to unlock nbn modem so thT it works with other ISP was not done. I have been passed like ball from one person to another for 2 days…all they do is cross sell product but no one is unlocking modem.

    @Telstra worst sales experience. I am using the online sales team to get a quote for a mobile and nbn bundle and the operator does not understand what NBN50mbs means and just keeps telling me to click a link. Optus is so much better and cheaper. Do not recommend

    3rd-world #NBN, you have 6 months to: 1) Lower my monthly cost by 40% 2) Increase my speed by 2x 3) Give me better customer service when outages happen - having my provider message you and wait doesn't cut it. Meet my demands or I'm switching to Starlink.

    Now i am without NBN as @Optus is not unlocking it and have to buy new modem wirth 250$ and this current modem will go into bin. This is what you get after being 12 year customer, will leave and change mobile also now.

    Got it. But my NBN modem’s lights are not solid on. I was told by Optus that is a NBN network issue.

    Second day of no internet here in the Huon Valley, @NBN_Australia I guess because of the wind yesterday. Has something blown over? I know it isn't our tower because we can see it. Your site, as usual, says there's no fault. There most definitely is an ongoing outage.
