@Telstra Thanx for the reply but been through those steps multiple times with no avail. Already lodged two complaints, spend hours on phone, got an NBN technician here... But still no solution. Extremely disappointed

@TPG_Telecom @NBN_Australia Was booked for technician to attend today between 8-12 today and a NO SHOW. No call, email or txt to explain. The usual poor performance.

@NickRossTech @MarkSzili @CorruptNSW @NBN_Australia All it will take to bury the NBN is a pricing decision by the 5G network owners that will make it attractive to home users in urban areas. At Min 10X the speed of that fetid pile of shit known as the NBN, it would be an attractive proposition.

@reubenfarrelly @NBN_Australia I have also been reporting this to NBN since January. Finally got some traction on it this week (in that they acknowledged it with a ticket number and a phone call). My own property has issues too - they called about my poor aerial install and told me my lead-in is underground.

@CGK700 @TimgGilbert If you get a one - plug it into the LAN port of the router - set up the mesh network. You won’t need the WIFI from the NBN router so best to turn that off if you can. The mesh network can handle everything.

@bigjsl @iPilko @NBN_Australia He literally was not equipped to fix it. This requires digging up conduit and climbing a power pole. They were equipped to do basic cable repairs, not civil engineering work.

@iPilko @bigjsl @NBN_Australia A contractor actually showed up, but said it isn't something he could fix, but he was having it assigned to a different team. Callout for him, his offsider and their truck was several hundred dollars (a high single-digit number of hundreds).

@TPG_Telecom NBN dropouts again, persistently having same problem and now customer service directs to online chat, which is hopeless when your internet is down. Hopeless TPG. Am going to churn.

My late Mum was caught by people working the NBN scam. She was not stupid and was pretty tech savvy. They still managed to siphon her account for every dollar. We got it back but still, it's something to be aware of, especially if you are taking care of elders #NBNscam

The modem has to wait for the noise on the line to go quite and then it is clear to poll the upstream network node. So for those following my NBN story, all of the post have been about identifying that component that was having its brain fried from the electromagnetic storm.

@MagpiePants Had the same problem at my last house, there were Foxtel wall-plates but they were connected to a dish on the roof instead of going to the street. Had to get the owner to run coax from the NBN box on the side of the house to an RG58 wall-plate inside.

@Telstra Wasted hours on Friday - waiting for NBN tech that never showed. We have reason to believe @Telstra did not make appointment. Simultaneously lost ADSL connection. Spent more hours addressing this.

@Elaine39247821 @farrm51 I respectfully still say 2nd worst. This rollout did actually deliver for Australians. The NBN rollout however, delivered a quarter of the speed compared to the Labor plan at a much higher cost. When we want to get to the speeds of Labor’s plan we’ll pay the same amount again.
