@redambition Even managed to convince my dad. He was so dead set against an NBN for those specific reasons, and got into an argument with my partner, a freakin' programmer who even then was working remotely, but he still thought it was something we'd never need.

First time I am thankful for Turnbull’s totally inadequate NBN. Cut out 25 minutes into Berejiklian’s spinshow, and can’t connect back to the media conference. I can always watch yesterday’s conference to keep up to date though. Same lies, same spin, same PR… #GladysFail

@NBN_Australia We tried restarting etc. Still not working or super slow. Complained to isp (iiNet). We are in Wattle Park SA.

@TurnbullMalcolm "That investment will push more fibre into the network and bring fibre closer to more premises but doesn’t mean NBN Co is abandoning the MTM." Or, you know, we could have kept deploying FTTP in the first place, as they did in NZ, and as experts urged back in 2013.

NBN download and upload speed resp.: 5.48 and 2.83. Has been 50 down and 16 or so up. Prior to NBN: 100 up. Debacle.

@TurnbullMalcolm And yet we are paying a speed bump to Telstra Velocity to get just over half the speed (sometimes) we pay for in the first place. Without it we get 1.8mbps. NBN never coming to Velocity areas because NBN says Velocity already provides the equivalent service. What a shambles.

9 weeks. @Optus @NBN_Australia still haven’t sorted out the problem. To try as a solution they terminated out accounts - me and next door - so we’ve been down all day. Oh ....NBN can’t come until tomorrow. The incompetence is stunning
